Friday September 8:
Adrienne finds an unlikely ally.

Sheila, TBoz's character?
Yeah, I think it will be TBoz.

Wonder if this round somebody will know she looks like TBoz?

Tripp moving into the loft set was pretty inevitable what with them clearly setting up a Theo/Claire/Tripp triangle and then probably a Ciara/Tripp/Claire Triangle. Also, he's given up the Vitali money by then so boy is going to need some cheeper digs.

Wednesday September 6:
John and Marlena make their move to escape.
Hattie struggles to maintain her charade with Brady.

http://soaps.sheknows.com/days-of-our-lives/spoilers
What they really need to happen is to have Marlena escape so she can sign a paper to release John... I do hope there is drama with Marlena and the orderly again and John will be beside him self not being able to do anything. Love the angst

Steve's probably paying for those digs anyway, according to Joey.

Until they find somebody new. And Claire is probably smart to pick a somebody new Steve will keep footing the bill for.

Since they are just replacing Joey with Tripp of course he'd move in to the loft

Does anybody know when the "new season" begins for TPTB? I think that's when the scripts have "Week 1" on the first page. Maybe that's when we will sense a bigger shift in the stories.

I'm thinking it might be important because Days wasn't renewed when Ron was hired so there was a possibility that he had to wrap up all the storylines by mid-September.

Oh that's super interesting. I'm guessing we may see big things happen that week then.

Maybe. Week 1 last year was when Orpheus crashed the wedding.

I'm hoping for some TLC jokes too this time. I mean they literally had another character named Chilli and not one pun.

Hugo, I am so hoping you are right about Week 1 because all I see "new" is Tripp moving into the loft.

We'll see! I think for NBC, September 25 is the start of the new season so I don't know.

Yes she should have told about the attempted rape and the rock and river stuff . The fact is though Gabi was an abused woman and I hate how some in society blame the victim.nick was a homophobic child stealing abusive jerk he had it comming
I really don't think it's as black and white as he was evil or she was evil for killing him. I did hate how they made him the bad guy to serve story. Having said that he did try to rape her and he did threaten her and he did abuse her psychologically. It was definitely murder, but like others have said there were extenuating circumstances. And I don't think you can just call him homophobic. He was written that way, but he was also raped in prison, which contributed to his feelings. It would have been a better story if they hadn't simply had an agenda to paint anyone that has issues with same sex relationships as evil.

There were so many opportunities with this story that they missed.

They were brave enough to acknowledge the issue of male rape and then turned it into a bunch of clichés.

I don't think Nick was evil either, just troubled and desperate for happiness. He was not as bad as Kristen. But I understand why Gabi thought she had no other choice, Nick was so controlling and obsessive.

I think they showed Sami and Lucas having issues with the fact that Will was gay. There was also Tad, Will's friend, he wasn't evil, just very ignorant. More recently, Dario made comments indicating he had homophobic views. I thought the show could have done better with Eric when he was a priest but it was probably too controversial for the show to go there.

I agree. And there are those in the Catholic Church that are actually championing the cause of gay rights. They aren't going against church teaching, but they are trying to reach out to those that feel left out. It would have probably been somewhat controversial to have Eric advocating for gay rights, but it could have been done in a respectful way by a good writer imo.

I agree the rape impacted him Julie should have seen something wrong long before Gabi killed him and got him the help he needed given Horton family history
