OMG. There's less than 200,000 viewers separating GH and Days. And Days didn't go below 2 million the day of the eclipse. |

Those are some good numbers for Days especially in summer. They will likely have a down week for this week as this week is traditionally horrible for soaps with what is really the last week of summer but this proves they can get their audience back quick and it also shows just how close they are to passing GH and also jumping to ahead of the pack in several demos. The other soaps have had a horrible year too. Days has been a mess for the better part of 4 years and, yet, with one big ratings push they can take 3rd in HH and even be #1 in several key demos relatively easily. Crazy! |

Sal seems really nice, but I just can't with Lani because of her acting. She's so robotic. I'm not looking forward to her being pregnant. |

Just thought of something. What if Lani is pregnant by Raines! Now that could be interesting. As far as S.S.'s acting, imo she's just blah. |

I'm definitely less bothered by SS/Lani now than I was when she first started. I agree that she's still robotic but it's not like she's had any real material to work with since starting. Literally everything she's done has been about being a cop. Maybe Sal will surprise us when she gets a real story. |

He was vanilla because he wasn't really playing Dillon. Scott Clifton's Dillon was so much more of a dynamic character. I still like RP though. |

I prefer Gabi with JJ but I like JJ with Lani better. JJ seems more adult with Lani. Eli's personality is so laid back that he needs a gal that's a firecracker. |

I'm relieved to finally see some increases for Days. I hope there will be more weeks like that. GH is really not good right now, it should be in 4th place. |

I loved, loved, loved Scott Clifton's Dillon! And agree he wasn't vanilla. But I think the writing for Dillon has been pretty vanilla. Maybe RPW didn't do enough to elevate it. But I don't think he was ever written the way SC's Dillon was. |

I found SCs Dillon to be whiny and screechy, particularly during his fling with Lulu. |

I do think Ron has the ability to pull this off. From what I recall of his tenure at GH his summers weren't particularly strong but by October the show could be pure fire. And I still think he's got some surprises up his sleeve that weren't given away in the Fall Preview. There were some big reveals on GH (such as Robin being alive and Stavros being behind Lulu's kidnapping) nobody saw coming until we saw it on our screens. I do wonder about the impact Steve Burton's return will have on GH's ratings as I think the Tale of Two Jasons is about to eat that show. |
