One thing I do know is that the one site I usually go to for early spoilers, still has it listed that a Stefano(back from the dead) story IS in deed in the works(or at least the tease of it....why? that makes no sense...How do you bring someone back from the dead who never really died?). The spoiler also refers to a crazy lunatic who "actually" thinks he's Elvis, this was advertised as a Halloween story, I believe this audition clip is a part of that story.

Are we suppose to think this guy is Stefano? That Idea is way Tooo out field. He's too old to be an EJ recast...My "very" first thought was this meant to be the "Pawn" parallel from the mid 80's. Just like what the writers did with John Black...let the audience guess who this "legacy" is.

If Tim Abelle IS cast in this roll...boy oh boy do I see a Bo Brady recast in him.
IDK what site that is, but I can even tell by that summary that that site doesn't know what it's talking about.
The site was A place that's not reputable...

I have this theory(and I may be way off here) that whatever formula/procedure is involved with this "bringing back the dead", Dr. Rolf will indeed be correlated in this story. I'm imagining that someone tried to break into Dr. Rolf's secret lab, was electrocuted in the process. Dr. Rolf jumps to the wrong conclusion that the intruder was Stefano...Dr. Rolf actually thinks he's bringing Stefano back to life, but it's someone else. Well Rolf also discloses(to whomever) that "said patient" has escaped and is running around loose, he says he has people searching for him.

To add a little science-fiction in this thought process, the whole "BBTD" process only works if the person's DNA is preserved and secondly the genes would rearrange themselves in a way where one might not have the same features as before. This way, you can have the scenario, of bringing back a deceased 'Legacy" character with out the original actor/actress.

It might be kinda neat to suggest that Will was also apart of Rolf's experiment, Will's family will only remember Will by what he looked like when "Guy Wilson" played the roll, Chandler Massey is who Will looks like now...think of how the writers wrote how JKJ came back the second time replacing "Kyle Brandt's" Philip.

That doesn't mean he's a player though. I highly doubt Sonny was dating multiple people at a time for sex, lol

I'm not sure Lucas ever used the word "player". (He might have, but I don't remember the details of what was said).

My impression at the time was that, after he got over being homophobic, Lucas switched to protective mode ...
I thought he was reacting like some parents would:

Lucas' thoughts toward Will might have been thus:
You have lived here most of your life (except for those few years in Switzerland with Carrie and Austin), and you haven't dated anyone except Mia and Gabi in high school, neither of which went anywhere, and you haven't dated anyone of your preferred romantic gender.
But your boyfriend is slightly older, more worldly, and has traveled with family, and then traveled on his own as an adult, and he has had an opportunity to date while living as an adult.

That's the sort of reaction a parent of an inexperienced older teen girl would have ... if she wanted to date a guy who had been living/traveling and dating as an adult. Would this man hurt my child?
The impression that I got back then was that Lucas was saying he was concerned because of Sonny being more experienced as a way to mask his homophobia. Sami was already the parent who had the bad reaction to Will coming out so Lucas had to be the good one, the "cool" one, so he pretended to be concerned about Sonny of all people.

I'm trying to figure out when we will first see Rolf.

The "Elvis" audition was uploaded to Vimeo May 12.
The script mentioned Elvis Presley brought back from the dead by Dr. Monica Darver. (but Monica Darver may have been a fake name in the audition script).

Rolf is a character who would be involved in a "back from the dead" story.

I can't remember why we thought this Elvis scene would air on October 31? Was that correct?

We know William Utay was on set May 15 or 16 (whichever day they had the cake for Ken Corday). But he could have started taping before that. Which means he's airing by Oct 20 or earlier.

And from all of that, I'm trying to figure out when the Memphis storyline starts.
We thought it will air on October 31, because they talked about candy and trick or treating.

Shocker! A pregnant woman looks pregnant. That's not an excuse for her to not have a storyline and I'm pretty sure that's discrimination. Pregnant actresses have always been involved in stories and some have even led the show, most recently AZ and AS. NB's maternity leave would most likely affect episodes airing in 2018, so there is no reason for her to be on the sidelines this fall.
I actually think this might be the issue. I don't think Days has been interested in using her for a while, but they can't drop her because she's pregnant. I don't think they want to get rid of her because she's pregnant, but I think they might not be able to get rid of her because she's pregnant.
I have a theory that the surrogate storyline was conceived sans Chloe, and then they plugged her into it either to give the story some heft it wouldn't have had with a dayplayer surrogate character and/or because it simply fit Dena and Ken's M.O. of plugging older characters into random roles in ongoing story (Drew Donovan, Orpheus/Xander/Clyde, Hattie in prison). So there was really never any plan to have story FOR Chloe, just that Chloe would be a vehicle to create story for Nicole and add some dimension to the surrogacy stuff. I hope that changes once Nadia is back from this maternity leave, but it would make sense as to why she's been used so sparingly. On the upside, using her in a totally supporting capacity is doing a lot to restore the character to someone likable after she's been batshit crazy for her last several appearances...

We have that site's name filtered here. They don't have their own spoilers, so if you're reading it there and nowhere else, it's made up.

Oh right of course. Thanks.

Camila said in an interview posted May 15 that Chandler Massey's character is being brought back by the return of a mystery male character.

That mystery male is probably Rolf.

That seems that Utay had already been taping for a while on May 15, because was talking about stuff that had already been taped.

I thought Lucas's issue under tomsell was that he thought Sonny was a player and not good enough for Will.
Yeah, I never understood that. Why did Lucas say that? It was so random!
Not really.

Sonny is older, has travelled the world and has had prior relationships (aka Paul, etc.)

Will was a naive small town boy when he met Sonny.
Who'd lived in Switzerland for quite a few years..... ;)

LOL, but given that they've never said a anything about Carrie and Austin's life in Switzerland it could be a very small town in Switzerland. :).

It was one year between Chris Gerse leaving the role of Will and Dylan Patton showing up, and Dylan Patton is a few months younger than Chris Gerse so it's not as if there was offscreen SORASing to make it seem longer.

But when has Will Horton's actual history ever mattered to the tragic tale of Weepy McSmirky?

I guess I'm missing something but why all the focus on Memphis? Is that where Rolf has supposedly been hiding out all these years? Not quite sure why Ron picked that city....
https://youtube.com/watch?v=W1Ilp_M-r5c
So the whole Memphis story is going to be about searching for EJ if he's alive?! Why else do they have to be in Memphis?

This is going to be an epic fail of a storyline.

I would sure like to think this will be interesting but based up the returns of Sami, Will, Doc Rolf and Eileen as whoever. the continued presence of Bonnie & Hattie.............I can't begin to see anything enjoyable to look forward too. Andre and Kate as a couple (YUK)
Lucas is the only bright spot IMHO

Flashback to other amazing moments with Lucas, Mike, Carrie slapping the
Bejeezus our of Sami I seriously doubt anything could be a good as that moment, even with a double wedding. I do know I don't care to ever see Sami happy or Ej back as her darling Elvis!!! I would to see Jack (MATT only) pop back into picture alive and well to the surprise of Jen and Marlena

Will and Sami

EJ death at the hand of Clyde, Will death at the hands of Ben, (either Will I don't care who played him) made perfect sense Sami has been overplayed as character for more than 5 - 10 years by now.Dreading every moment AS is onscreen
