Days poor demos are the problem RC work is gaining some viewers now but its not working when it comes to women 18 to 49 and the other age groups tiny gain in those since his work began airing in July tells me his stuff not attracting the young group.

Poor demos is the problem for all 4 soaps. Actually I don't remember them being so close in W18-49. It's 85,000 between the 1st and the 4th.

Days W18-34 numbers are low though, it seems the show is more attractive to people aged 35-49.

It's been a bad season for all the soaps but especially those 2:
Days lost 9% of its viewers, 20% of its demo.
Y&R lost 7% of its viewers, 21% of its demo.

Great for DAYS, the only soap up from previous year, and also up quite nicely from the previous week.

^ My face watching DAYS

Proportionally though, DAYS and GH have a younger overall audience than B&B and Y&R.

Percentage of audience that is W18-34:
GH = 3.8%
DAYS = 3.2%
B&B = 2.7%
Y&R = 2.4%

Percentage of audience that is W18-49:
GH = 16.3%
DAYS = 15.4%
Y&R = 10.0%
B&B = 9.9%

GH/DAYS skew younger, Y&R/B&B skew older.

I'm happy to see Days is slowly making gains. It's the only soap that is holding my interest.
