OMG, Will's list of people who love Lucas was gloriously delivered.

I.... have no complaints about Chandler so far. But I still have 16 minutes to go, so maybe he'll smirk and weep and all will be normal with the universe.

I grew tired of CM towards the end of his run and was glad to see him go - the constant smirking, phoning in lines, that facacta relationship with EJ that I still resent so much time was devoted to (although I guess that isn't CMs fault at all, it just soured me to his version of Will). But Chandler here today, reminded me why I loved him so much at the start and why he received the accolades he did. I felt the rapport with him and BD, it thickened the lines and the scenes in a subtle yet substantive way that happens when actors have worked with each other before. I feel like he also did a really good job of playing the "Will" inside Lucas's head, if that makes sense. And the line deliveries combined this sort of wisdom and tenderness I haven't seen CM portray before - it was so remarkable today I am still thinking about it.

I absolutely agree that both the writing and the acting were on point for this being Lucas' drunken projection of Will. It was Will, but not.

Also agree that the wisdom/tenderness-- which is something I associate with a young Will, but not with the adult version-- was nuanced and touching.

BD's appearance reminded me of James Brolin in Amittyville Horror...

Will was definitely a figment of Lucas's imagination. He didn't know Adrienne is now played by Bonnie....

Sonny can just stfu with his Lucas bashing.

The only time I ever enjoyed watching Scami (other than when the :shithitfan: on her schemes) was when she was with Lucas. Then that Dimera scumbag trashed that into pieces... man I hated that guy. :blulaugh:

Liked Jennifer's and Kate's chat, and them finding Lucas at the end.

ok episode

I'm going to be right by your side. 💕

Today's episode is definitely Ron's best so far. I kept wanting to see more. Bryan & Chandler basically stole the show. Bravo!! I enjoyed everything today, even Gabi and Abby lol.

I laughed so much when Chad and Sonny pretended to be the ones getting married lol

Yeah she does love Lucas because BONNIE was the one that dumped him.
Isn't it kind of heartbreaking even if you aren't a Lucas and Adrienne fan that the eventual breakup will likely come from the post 'Bonnie passing herself off as Adrienne' reveal fiasco and not anything truly to do with the Ludrienne relationship

ETA: I can't wait to watch this show, but it'll be around 7pm EST before I get home from work...

Today was definitely the best episode to date. It hit so many beats and emotions from heavy emotions to humor and included so many character interactions.

I loved Lucas/Will's scenes. They made me tear up. I've always enjoyed their relationship all the way from the time the little Carpenter twins played Will. Bryan is doing such a wonderful job as he spirals out of control. I also appreciated seeing Kate/Jen talking about his struggle and going to find him together. They may not interact much but they both love Lucas.

I really didn't enjoy Sonny's scenes at the beginning. He sounded like a jerk saying he'd never forgive Lucas for taking those "pot-shots," I'm glad Chad was there to talk some sense into him but Freddie doesn't do ranting well. The cute tux scenes were much better and I loved the Chonny scene.

I also like Paul/JJ talking about history and hanging out. They both need friends but I do feel like some of this maybe should've played earlier. I also thought the fact that JJ said that Ben killed and tortured those people was an anvil of Psycho Ben's return.

so all in all, I found today very soapy.
