I actually kind of enjoy angry Brady. EM does it so well. It kind of gives me Passions flashbacks when he gets into it with Eric, which to me is always a good thing. :D :wub2:

But I agree about having more Lucas though. BD is totally slaying right now. :cheer:

Chloe's reasoning for wanting the club made more sense than Julie's, I kinda wish it was Chloe's alone.

The Lucas follow-up scenes were short and didn't pack quite the punch it should have, still it was good to see the support.

I don't get why the show is using Chad & Abby to run with this whole newlywed theme, pretty sure they already went though this, also they are increasingly boring which each passing episode.

Also, the show missed a golden opportunity to mention that Chad ruined Gabi's wedding to Nick when he showed up at St. Luke's to reveal the baby daddy news.

Today's show was strange.

First, whether true or not or ever stated on the show, I've always kind of assumed that the Hortons were Lutheran and the Brady's were Catholics, so it's strange to me that Abby wants to get married at St. Luke's.

Nicole talking to Abe was nice but I was so distracted by the fact they were discussing very serious matters right in the middle of HTS. Who decides what sets get used on this show? It's so random. I just hate how everyone on DAYS just randomly run into each other in public or whatever restaurant is up and running at the moment. The only characters that actually interact at home are old man Victor and that jerk Brady. BTW, I still can't stand Victor. He's like Trump, he just can't go a day without name calling. Anyway, I'm beyond tired of the random hook ups at random public places on the show. :yawnz:

The Lucas stuff at the hospital was crazy. It was like Kate, Jennifer and Maggie were all laying on top of him on his bed screaming at him. If I was him I'd want to get the hell out of there too and deal with my addiction later... and it sure seemed like he got dressed in front of all the ladies :blulaugh: I dunno it was all just so OTT. IMO, everyone needs to back off and he'll get help when he's ready.

Honestly they should rename this show Days of Our Drunks (and recovering addicts).

I usually like happy couples, but Chad and Abby are driving me nuts. Can't we see them just being normal people instead of constantly teasing, joking and giggling with each other? Send Abby back to work. I don't know where Chad works but make him go away.

I wish someone would ask Nicole why any man would be able to commit to her when she's gone through a collection of them in such a short time. She'd fall in love with a waiter if he offered her an extra napkin.

Enough with the brother thing, please. They did not grow up together. They may be "step brothers" but not biologically at all and Eric has mostly resented Brady's dad and adult Brady still calls Eric's mother "Marlena". If you want me to think of these two as brothers, it can't be just because they call each other brother because of whatever woman they're interacting with together.

Oh, and no way did I buy that Nicole wasn't conscious of the fact Eric was into her again.

Brady is the only one that she has possibly willingly left though - all the others left her.(admittedly some of them for pretty good reasons)

In regard to the Horton's religious faith issue, but Marie Horton was religious sister. I had a friend who said that the Horton's weren't Catholic a couple of years ago, but the fact that Marie was a nun makes me think they were? Has it ever been established otherwise?
Chad's a Dimera and they are Catholic - I always felt it was the Catholic in the relationship trumped all other religions. ( I could be wrong about this).

Ie my sister isn't catholic but her husband was so they got married in a catholic church.

I am really loving Chad and Abby right now. Its so nice to have a break from the constant drama and third parties. They need to establish as a couple before the "visitor" at the wedding.

BD is doing a great job but I do feel it's over the top sometimes.

Love that we are seeing family ties. :wub2:

I think it just depends on the individuals. My brother in-law was Catholic, and my sister's not. They didn't get married in a Catholic church. Chad wasn't raised a DiMera, so IDK what religion he is.

It depends. My brother was raised Catholic but my SIL is Wiccan so they're planning on marrying outside of a church.

The Hortons were not Catholic. It's one of the reasons the family was so surprised when Marie became a nun.

It bothered me today that they had Lucas in restraints. Did they say why and I missed it? Because hospitals don't usually do that unless the patient has become violent towards others, lol
They also use restraints to protect a patient as well. Many patients who are ill are delirious and do not know what they are doing.

I was on a ventilator and they put restraints on me so I wouldn't yank the tube when the sedation wore off. I understand why they did it, but it was super annoying because one of the nurses put an all 80s music channel on, LOUDLY, right next to my ear so I heard nothing but that for 30 hours.

I feel like it's pointless to debate the religion of a character on a soap opera if it's not part of that character's every day life. The only time it ever seems to matter or get brought up is when someone is getting married. Unless there is some tragedy and someone's life is hanging in the balance, that's the only time you see anyone pray, and no one attends regular church services. Then again, you hardly ever see anyone at work either, unless you're a doctor or cop. Father Eric was the exception, of course! They're totally pushing the envelope here with a gay wedding at St. Luke's (which has no crucifix or any saint icons on the stained glass windows). It could double as any place of worship or meeting hall or Vienna ballroom.

Good - I absolutely love that Lucas is not done going down this downward spiral...that is just too damn easy. Ron needs to keep pulling as much drama as possible from this.
Lucas has me actually tuning in fairly regularly!

So this was mixed for me.

I enjoyed Julie and Chloe. Chloe didn't back down when Julie was her usually self. I'd like to see Brady join Chloe to work there

That brings me to Brady. I like this hulking out brady because he's clearly being painted as wrong (and conflicted) when he acted like this before, he was shown to be right. And he wasn't. And neither is Victor

Those hospital scenes were terrible. Lucas was fine. If I would have woken up to that screeching, I'd drink too. Good lord Maggie, dial it down. And I'm just so done with Kate. Bad choice to have so many people in the room at once.
