I don't want Eric to hit Brady. I want Eric to whoop Billy Badass Brady Block's ass all over that office. Brady could use the humbling. |

Okay Victor I thought you were a smart man. Telling Brady to stop being so SELFLESS ... Brady is the absolute opposite of selfless. He's a selfish, boorish, manipulative, drunk, obsessive bast ... well you know what I mean. I'm so tired of Brady and his controlling ways ... I just don't understand why Nicole is putting up with his behaviour. I loved when Abe told her to really think about things ... that gratitude and love are two very different things. Didn't like anything that had Brady involved. I absolutely hated it when Brady put part of the blame for him feeling like this on John. Really ... it was alright for your last love of your life Theresa to take a fire poker to your Dad's head and then but the blame on you ... somehow Theresa was never to blame for that ... but John gives you some solid fatherly advice and it's his fault you're an a$$. I wish he'd drown himself in that decanter of booze ... sigh. Okay that was harsh but ... Oh my ... Chloe and Julie may have outbid Myron but I wonder how long it's going to take before they actually work together harmoniously. I don't know why Nicole doesn't know that Eric has feelings for her. He almost kissed her just before she ran out for lunch - there's no way she could have missed that. Oh, I did appreciate the Brandon mention. I wonder if Nicole is going to stay with him for a while when she decides to leave Salem. So Eric is going to leave the Center because Nicole loves working there and he won't fire her like Brady ordered him to. I can't believe that Brady even went there with Eric about Kristen. For Pete's sake Brady one of the other love's of your life RAPED him ... he did want her, not ever. I can't believe what a complete boor Brady now is. Of course the best scenes were those involving Kayla, Lucas and the women in Lucas's life. I loved that Maggie was there for him, his sister and his mother. We actually got to see that Kate truly does love Lucas even though she's never been known for showing that love to anyone including Lucas. Lucas is completely in denial. He just had a 'few' drinks, no big deal ... when in reality he almost drank himself to death. How bad are things really going to get before Lucas wakes up and smells anything other than booze! Again kudos to Bryan, he's doing such a great job. Oh I guess Chad and Abby were on today too ... yawn. |

As usual Nicole was whining, Eric was whispering and Brady was raging. I'm over all of them, even Eric. The Lucas scenes should have had more impact, but I was bored. LK's face was very distracting. I don't know why Chad and Abby were on. Best part of the episode: Chloe and Julie. |

Okay thanks. I didn't know Nicole had a brother. I don't think I have heard her mention him before. |

Well. Nicole/Abe was good. I thought AZ played especially the first scene beautifully. It was a different kind of cry, and it gave a glimpse, imo, at the kind of lead actress AZ could be if they'd define a new, more grown-up personality for Nicole. I really liked his line about gratitude vs love. That could not apply more to Brady/Nicole if it were an anagram for Bricole. She and Eric both need something else to do outside of this triangle. Gabi/Julie was good too, and also played well by both actresses. I hope this gives Chloe a purpose to being in town. I kind of doubt it's going to be much of anything, but I hope it is. The two of them working together but also irritating the snot out of each other could be fun. I hated everything else. The rehab stuff with Lucas was AWFUL. I need a drink now. No one was good in the scenes, but they all looked like effing Meryl Streep next to Suzanne Rogers' screeching. I've been over this particular Victor schtick for over a decade. It's nice that it seems to be written as him being in the wrong now, but I'm still over it. There are some interesting things in the writing for Brady, but I don't enjoy him in Hulk mode. Chabby just plain suck. Marci has got to be the dullest actress to ever be cast on this show. True O'Brien was better than this. |

Chloe and Julie as partners, running the club, is brilliant! Add in Doug as a plus. The only thing that would make it even better would be to include Brady once the Nicole Walker saga finally ends in November. |

As I noted earlier, I was kind of disappointed in the Lucas stuff too. I liked the idea/some of the content regarding Lucas being supported by family and friends, but the execution was just...not great. As you said, the acting wasn't very good, and I think the whole set up was too "busy." Better acting and a more one-on-one convo approach with fewer characters would have been more impactful to me. But I guess maybe the whole point was to show him being kind of "smothered"? IDK. It was just disappointing after the relatively good scenes from Monday. |

They were screaming at him like he was literally about to step off a ledge. It would have been so much more effective to see them just all be really sad. |

Agreed. Or they could have had varied emotions. Having them all be kind of scream-y was too much. |

When my husband was in ICU and in an induced semi-coma, I signed for him to be in restraints because he kept trying to get out of bed even though he wasn't really awake and was close to death. |

I hurts me to say this, but I cannot watch Eric Brady right now & Eric Brady is my favorite male charcter on this show. He is just to weak and to pathetic currently. I appreciate the effort to respect history, but it isn't being done across the board. The Nicole praise & worship under RC is equal to, if not worse than what we saw under Dena. The only part of this triangle that gets my interest is Brady's spiral down to the lowest levels. Just how low will he go? The reason Lucas's intervention didn't work today was because, it felt like a plot point. That the writers isn't all that interested in the journey as far as Lucas's drinking, it was more about where he ends up |

Thank you. Someone else who hates the Nicole is a Saint mantra. When Julie and Doug were singing her praises the other day, I wanted to hurl. |

I mentioned this earlier, but I really think the Bricole/Ericole triangle would benefit so much from not being their central story. I feel like they don't exist outside of it. Ericole's chemistry is good again. Nicole has improved. Brady's breakdown could even be good. But all of them need something more. Brady is probably the one the closest to being a full character right now. Like...Nicole has improved but she's dull as dirt. And Eric is just too....heavy, and that's all he does. It's a bubble that needs to pop desperately. |
