I can't watch until they put it on the app and I really can't wait to see the JenEric stuff!

I am hoping hoping HOPING that if EriCole have one final fling, it is NOT while she is still with Brady. I don't need something else for Eric to feel guilty about for 6 freaking months after Her Royal Highness leaves Salem with King Daniel's progeny.

What people have said about EriCole having Jarlena vibes: I can't see it because I'm not as invested in any of the characters like I was back then. Back then, although I wanted Marlena to choose John I still felt horrible for Roman. It was a situation where no one was really going to win and I felt for everybody. Now, I only care about Eric.

Are the only houses on the show the DiMansion and the KMansion? I'm pretty sick of them.
I miss Jennifer's house.
Based on BTS pics, it should be back sometime before Christmas. :)

LOL at Paul referring to Eric as Brady's "other brother". If Brady thinks of Eric as his brother why doesn't Paul? Both of them are John's and have no biological link to Eric. Neither one of them grew up with Eric. I suppose Paul would only think of him as brother if he was in a storyline with Eric and there was some kind of betrayal involved.

I don't think they have any real J&M vibes. Very superficial if any.

Andre's bachelor party plans...I'm too scared to even ponder what they could be.

I think you're looking at it from a different lens. Roman (and I guess Brady) aren't relevant to the comparisons I see. The stuff today played a lot like the stuff just before the plane, but the main thing I've found to be similar is how they both think the other one isn't into them. That's more mid90s J&M. But like...even right down to Abe being a confidant, it reminds me a lot of them.

The Eric letter was really good. It's the only time in this rushed revisit to Eric/Nicole that seemed genuine. And it didn't hurt that Nicole had no dialogue. I don't buy all of what he said but that's okay. A strange thing was I enjoyed GV's acting more than usual.

She had multiple lines of dialogue during the letter...

I loved Sonny's dream. I guess for the first time I felt Freddie and Chandler had some chemistry. All three seemed invested in their scenes.

I agree that today was a slow Friday episode, but I actually found myself enjoying it.

I've always liked when Days did build-ups to weddings with mentions of dress shopping and bachelor/bachelorette parties, so I liked that that stuff got so much focus today. It helps build suspense IMO because you know something big is gonna happen. I do think it's a little weird that Andre is going to throw a party for Chad when not even two years ago he was trying to turn his brains into scrambled eggs, but the Jen/Abby cuteness talking about word games at Abby's party made up for it I guess.

Remember how I used to bitch every day about how much I hated the Kiriakis family that was comprised mostly of Deimos, Maggie, and Brady? Well the DiMeras are officially my number one most-hated Days family. Every day that Andre's real history gets ignored, that "family" loses even more credibility. During all that sibling talk today, all I could think was, "How many of Andre's own siblings did he murder?" And I wanted to punch Abby when she walked in smiling during the Chad/Andre hug. HE IS NOT A GOOD GUY. HE KILLED YOUR DAD LIKE TWELVE TIMES. RUN AWAY, HOMEGIRL! I was really hoping that Ron would come in and address this issue (some may argue that he did address it with the Hattie thing but I disagree because it was all for laughs), but it looks like the Tony/Andre hybrid is here to stay.

The Will dream was really good and I actually found myself enjoying Sonny today until those CEO scenes with Brady. Are we really supposed to care who's running Titan? It changes so often that I forgot Brady was even in charge. Just give the damn company to Philip offscreen so I don't have to hear about that stupidity anymore.

Nicole has really improved over the last couple weeks, which is a little discouraging. AZ finally seems checked in to these Ericole scenes and it's making for some good soap (though I still think the foundation for the triangle is dull) but she's going to be gone in a couple months. I LOVE that she would read some of Eric's letter, pause to make a snarky comment, and then resume reading. That was the most Nicole-like she's felt in ages. I also like the return of the urgency to the Ericole scenes ("I have to find Eric"/"I need to talk to him") that I feel has been lacking until this point. And don't even get me started on Jennifer/Eric. There is still so much heat between them in simple scenes like this that I can't even imagine what the two of them would actually be like as a couple. I could watch them all day, so I'm hoping Ron puts them back in each other's orbits when AZ leaves.

Because BF and MM are trying so hard, it has the opposite effect. I just can't with their scenes anymore. Get rid of both.

I actually like that they're showing some pre-wedding stuff, too. I just wish it was for different couples because I don't really care about either one.

I also liked that Abby and Chad were both kind of opposed to bachelorette/bachelor parties. I understand why the show does them, but it seems weird to me since this isn't their first marriage.

I would really prefer if Eric and Jen wound up in each other's orbit while AZ is still here.

How hilarious that they mentioned Paul and Sonny are going to a Pre-Cana meeting.

Who's the Pope of this fantasy Catholic Church in Salem? RuPaul?

Chad met Kristen?
Yes. Casey was still in the role when Eileen first came back. He left just before she did.
No.
