Chad met Kristen?
Yes. Casey was still in the role when Eileen first came back. He left just before she did.
No.

Yes. They crossed paths during her 2nd run, too. They crossed paths for a longer period of time before that.

I'm reminded of the "dimera family Christmas" in her hotel room with Chad and EJ.

Sonny's dream was a repeat of John's in 2012 when he rolled over in bed and it was Kristen.

It's a repeat of pretty much every triangle this show had from the mid90s to the mid 2000s too.

It's probably the first time three shirtless men were shown in bed together in daytime. :$

I agree that today was a slow Friday episode, but I actually found myself enjoying it.

I've always liked when Days did build-ups to weddings with mentions of dress shopping and bachelor/bachelorette parties, so I liked that that stuff got so much focus today. It helps build suspense IMO because you know something big is gonna happen. I do think it's a little weird that Andre is going to throw a party for Chad when not even two years ago he was trying to turn his brains into scrambled eggs, but the Jen/Abby cuteness talking about word games at Abby's party made up for it I guess.

Remember how I used to bitch every day about how much I hated the Kiriakis family that was comprised mostly of Deimos, Maggie, and Brady? Well the DiMeras are officially my number one most-hated Days family. Every day that Andre's real history gets ignored, that "family" loses even more credibility. During all that sibling talk today, all I could think was, "How many of Andre's own siblings did he murder?" And I wanted to punch Abby when she walked in smiling during the Chad/Andre hug. HE IS NOT A GOOD GUY. HE KILLED YOUR DAD LIKE TWELVE TIMES. RUN AWAY, HOMEGIRL! I was really hoping that Ron would come in and address this issue (some may argue that he did address it with the Hattie thing but I disagree because it was all for laughs), but it looks like the Tony/Andre hybrid is here to stay.

The Will dream was really good and I actually found myself enjoying Sonny today until those CEO scenes with Brady. Are we really supposed to care who's running Titan? It changes so often that I forgot Brady was even in charge. Just give the damn company to Philip offscreen so I don't have to hear about that stupidity anymore.

Nicole has really improved over the last couple weeks, which is a little discouraging. AZ finally seems checked in to these Ericole scenes and it's making for some good soap (though I still think the foundation for the triangle is dull) but she's going to be gone in a couple months. I LOVE that she would read some of Eric's letter, pause to make a snarky comment, and then resume reading. That was the most Nicole-like she's felt in ages. I also like the return of the urgency to the Ericole scenes ("I have to find Eric"/"I need to talk to him") that I feel has been lacking until this point. And don't even get me started on Jennifer/Eric. There is still so much heat between them in simple scenes like this that I can't even imagine what the two of them would actually be like as a couple. I could watch them all day, so I'm hoping Ron puts them back in each other's orbits when AZ leaves.
I would really prefer if Eric and Jen wound up in each other's orbit while AZ is still here.
I'm glad they split them up until AZ is gone...I don't want any of that hanging over their heads.

Hmm....maybe you are right. I don't know anymore. All I know is that Eric is so enjoyable around Jennifer.
It's a shame he is being wasted on a woman who is leaving in less than 2 months

So today was alright.

I like the idea behind all of the wedding stuff. The show hasn't done great with wedding prep the last several years, so I like the idea of that. The Chabby stuff really takes a hit because of Chad's fake family. The whole thing with Andre was both terrible and ridiculous (and often historically inaccurate).

The PaulSon stuff was semi-interesting. The dream was good, but I laughed out loud when they first showed Chandler's face. I like how that was supposed to be right after Sonny returned from Paris. I think it's kind of interesting how Sonny clearly doesn't want to talk about Will. He practically ran from the room. I LOVED how CS played it when Sonny stopped himself from saying "when Will and I got married." I also liked that when he heard about Paul's grandfather, Sonny immediately offered to delay the wedding BUT it didn't play out like him trying to get out of the wedding.

The Brady/Sonny stuff was awful because both of them are awful. The dialogue wasn't quite right, and they both just suck. Plus I don't care about Titan and their living room business. Brady is due a pretty big fall soon, though.

I enjoyed Jennifer today. Marci continues to suck in all contexts, but Missy seems to be the one person who can make up for it. They don't have chemistry either, but unlike with pretty much everyone else, their lack of chemistry doesn't negatively affect Missy who still comes across like a natural mom.

Jason taking the job was a nice surprise. I hope we get to keep him in some capacity. I thought AZ did a good job with all of her reactions today, too. She has really stepped it up the last few weeks, and I'm relieved.

The Eric/Jennifer stuff was good. So. It's weird. I've been liking the Ericole stuff recently. I think they're the better pairing. HOWEVER. I still really like Jen/Eric, and I actually like Eric the individual better with Jennifer than I do with Nicole. He's just lighter and more like a person. I like who Jennifer is around him, too. She finds her spunk. It's just odd to me. I'm not sure I've ever had that kind of conflicting experience between characters and couples before. On the one hand, I don't want Jennifer in a relationship where she's constantly having to build the other person up. On the other hand, I don't want Eric in a relationship where he's constantly having to be selfless to accommodate someone else's issues.

Meanwhile, I think both are hot together. Even that forehead kiss was hot. I love Jennifer, and I love Jack and Jennifer, but I can honestly say that "hot" isn't something I thought I'd ever say about a Jennifer pairing.

Also, Ericole have some MAJOR J&M 90s vibes. If that farmhouse were a plane...
I tend to agree with what you said about Jennifer/Eric/Nicole. I don't really find Jennifer and Eric hot together, but I do think they have a sweetness that I like. And I do think Eric is lighter and I like that. I don't mean to take away from MR at all, but I really do think at least some of that is how GV is playing it. He is almost playing his scenes with Jennifer in a way that suggests there is some real emotion going on there for him. He may be in love with Nicole, but Jennifer is really important to him.

As far as Ericole goes today was just amazing for me as an Ericole fan. I honestly almost cried when Nicole was reading his letter and I did laugh at her snarky comments. I loved that. Today was thoroughly enjoyable for me. I actually think Eric/Nicole/Jennifer would have been the better triangle even though there was a time when it legitimately could have been good with Bricole v. Ericole.

I liked the Paul/Sonny/Will scenes was surprised they showed us three men in bed. I liked the all the scenes with Sonny and Paul. I really don't want to see a power struggle between Brady and Sonny I thought we were thru with that once Demois left. I really didn't care for Andre/Chad/Abby. I think Chad and Abby have been on all week. Nicole/Eric/Jennifer scenes were good. Decent show today.

The bed scenes are far removed from 1950's TV. Ricky had to keep at least one foot on the floor when kissing Lucy, plus, they had separate beds...AND THEY WERE MARRIED!! lol

-Wilson new kiss from a Dream
-Sonnys dream was he was happy he was still with Will Son wakes up Paul wants to hear about the dream
-Brady sees Nicole off to work hearing how she loves her job
-Jen and Abi last fitting
-Andre has something important to discuss with brothaaaa Chad
So Sonny's dream was about a kiss? Was it in bed? Or were they out in public somewhere (like Horton Town Square)? I thought maybe Sonny visited the cemetery and maybe saw a vision of Will but apparently not. (There was that tweet or Instagram of T-Boz in the cemetery dancing around).
Will and Sonny were in bed in Sonny's dream.
Thank you.

They were in bed. Sonny opened his eyes to Will, and they talked about how glad they both were that Sonny came home from Paris and saved their marriage. Then Will asked why, if Sonny loved him so much, he would marry Paul. Then Sonny rolled over and saw Paul on his other side and Paul asked Sonny why he was thinking of Will.

Then Sonny woke up for real to find Paul fussing over him because he'd obviously had a nightmare.
Thank you. I work during the time the show airs and depend on my DVR to record the show.
