Nicole has a flashback of Eric about to kiss her but she has NO idea that he might could still love her? And why wouldn't Eric think she'd notice him almost kissing her and thus knowing he loves her?

It's hard to swallow all the really dumb contrivances in this story. I understand how their fans can overlook it, but for me I'm just rolling my eyes through it.

I was prepared for today to be another FFWD Tuesday, but I have say that ended up watching the entire show and liking it even though none of my favorites were on. In particular, the writing and acting for Brady, Nicole and Eric has been improving steadily but it's still overshadowed by AZ impending departure. They need to start weaving in Chloe or whomever's going to fill the void in soon though. Also, I'm getting a little tired of being reminded of what an a-hole Brady is in every episode EM appears. The best outcome would be Brady breaking up with Nicole and telling her she needs to be with Eric.

That said, I loved Brady hiring a male stripper for Paul -at least I'm assume that will be the gender. It's strange that we didn't any sneak peek pics of Paul's bachelor party. The show wants us to be in suspense. I can't imagine Brady (and John?) being there with some guy gyrating around them in a thong though. I guess they'll "suffer" through it for Paul's sake though. :tounge:

Nice to see Dario when he is doing something good. Hope and Rafe -Hope deserves better. Rafe is too drab. He needs a spitfire actress to play opposite. KA plays Hope as understated so she needs a guy that is more telegenic than GG. Outside of PR, I think Sean Douglas (Vargas) was the right guy for Hope.

I was annoyed with Bonnie today. She's so not acting like Adrienne anymore yet two people who know Adrienne pretty well haven't got a clue that Bonnie is an impostor. :eyeroll:

Abby and Chad should have been speed dialing Justin to make sure he didn't submit that document to the judge instead of hugging.

Oh the Ericole angst!!!

It will happen, no doubt about that.
Pretty sure it will happen at the farmhouse ( which is pretty icky because that is the same set they used for Nicole & Brady's 1st time after professing their love to the other)
My guess is on Friday the 2nd week of October ..

Wondering if there are any Nicole & Brady fans and how they feel about the direction of the storyline. Never hear to much from that fanbase.
I was a diehard Bricole for years who also appreciated the chemistry/angst of Ericole. I wanted this triangle around 4 years ago. The payoff sucks now either way for both pairings with Ari leaving.

I really enjoy the angst of this storyline but I wish that first didn't have to totally destroy Brady to do it as no matter what he/Nicole have been BFF's and he's not been controlling with her and I hate they destroyed the brothers relationship.

With the turn around, I'm team Ericole but if written well, I'm fine with either. I'm just glad Nicole no longer hates Eric.

I hope Marlena finds out exactly why Eric left town and then she chews out Brady right in front of Nicole ... I'd like that. So let me guess Brady will let his 'guilt' over forcing Eric's hand into drive him to the bottle again ... and somehow it will end up being Eric's fault that he's such a jerk.

I liked the Eric / Marlena scenes. So is the farmhouse just supposed to be a stopping off point for Eric. They way Marlena was talking no one was ever going to be seeing him again.

I'm tired of Chad and Abby being on every day. Although a side benefit from them being on today was getting to see JV as Dario one last time. They wasted a good actor ... but under the last regime that was common practice more often than not.

Maybe Vic will make Bonnie disappear once she starts blackmailing him. I mean he threatened Xander so why should 'Adrienne' be any different.

So what's the story with Sheila and Eli. She's P.O.'ed about something, that much was obvious.

Director: Grant A. Johnson
Scriptwriter: Lisa Connor

Segment 1 Brady is sitting at the bar in the Brady Pub talking on his cell. Well it's my brother's last night of bachelorhood so I want it to be memorable. No just make sure the guy's a pro okay. Alright thank you. He makes another call. Voicemail. They said you left over an hour ago, where the hell are you. Where are you! He stares at the booze. Nicole comes in. Hi. I called the house. They said you were here getting ready for Paul's bachelor party. Brady - Why aren't you at work? Nicole - Well something happened today Brady. Eric made a big decision. Brady - About what? Nicole - About his future and mine.

Eric is tidying up. He sees a picture of Nicole that he had dropped on the floor. Someone knocks. Mom, how did you know where to find me. Marlena - Jennifer told me that you had quit your job and left town. We put our heads together, didn't take too much to figure out where you'd be. Why didn't you call me, let me know you were leaving.

Sheila - Eli Grant, long time no see. ? Never mind. Still thought I was locked up huh. Eli - No, it's not that. Sheila - Hey I served my time. Now I'm out free as a bird. So aren't you happy to see me.

Bonnie is still listening in on Vic's phone call. Vic - Listen to me, you will tell no one about our plan to kill Deimos. Do I make myself clear Xander. Do I need to remind you what will happen if you cross me. She hangs up. Jackpot! Exactly what I need, heh, heh. Maggie clears her throat.

Abby - The Judge doesn't want to grant us an annulment unless we get a sworn statement from Dario. But then nobody knows where he is so ... I just want to get married. Chad - I know you had your heart set on tomorrow. Abby - But instead of getting married I'm getting arrested. Chad - No that's not going to happen. I will not let that happen. One way or another I will find Dario and I will get him to sign that thing. You will be my wife again. It's going to be okay. You know how I am when I set my mind to something. Abby - Yeah I do. Chad - Than you know I'm not going to give up until that thing is signed. We're not going to give up. Okay. Abby - Okay. Chad - The first thing we're going to do is go talk to Rafe because if there's anyone who could find Dario it's him. Abby - Let's do it.

Rafe paces in the interrogation room. Hope - Could this be any weirder? Rafe - Probably not. I really do think you're the best person for the job. Hope - Well I think the same about you. Rafe - You do realise the only reason that I called Abe to tell him I was interested in the job is because you led me to believe that you weren't. Hope - Same here. You know what, we don't have to worry about it anymore. It's not up to you, it's not up to me, it's up to Abe. Rafe - That's right. Okay be honest with me. Now that he's not here I want to know honestly are you going to be okay with whatever he decides. Hope - Will you?

Brady - So what's this big decision? Nicole - First of all I just want you to know how much I appreciate you encouraging me to go back to work at the Center but after Eric's decision you might wish you hadn't. Brady - I'm sure I'll be fine. Nicole - Even if the job I have now might be more time consuming than either of us ... Brady - Wait, the job you have now. What do you mean by that? Nicole - As of this morning I'm the new Director at the Horton Center. Brady - Really. Wow, how did that happen. Nicole - Eric quit and he's leaving town for good.

Eric lets Marlena in. I knew how you'd react. I didn't want you or anyone trying to talk me out of it. Marlena - I've got a pretty good idea why you've done this. Eric - It was a feeling, it was time for me to go. Marlena - Nicole had nothing to do with it. Eric. Eric - It was hard you know, being there with her. Marlena - Does she have any idea how you feel? Eric - No and I don't want her to. She and Brady deserve to be happy which why my leaving is the best thing for everyone. Marlena - What about all the people who love you? Whose lives will just never be the same without you in it.

Bonnie - How long were you standing there? Maggie - Oh long enough to hear that you got exactly what you needed, whatever that means. Bonnie - Well it was a lead for a story I'm doing for the Intruder, I mean Spectator. Gosh, I've been working overtime on this story. In fact I think I'm going to crank this puppy out right now. Maggie - Is that the latest journalistic attire? Bonnie - Journalistic what? Oh. She pulls her robe together. I'm sorry, I was just so intent on getting the scoop I forgot I wasn't dressed. Maggie goes into the living room. Lunch is ready Victor. Cook is preparing a lovely poached salmon. Vic is staring at his Tablet. I'm not hungry. Maggie - Is something wrong? Bonnie - Bet you're still upset about that phone call you just got. Maggie - Didn't you have an article to crank out. Bonnie - Well yeah. I came in to get my phone. Say what was that call all about anyway Victor, huh. Somebody say something to upset you. Vic - None of your damned business.

Segment 2 Rafe - Yes of course. I will be totally okay with whatever Abe decides, okay. Hope - Me too. In fact if he decides on you I will be the first in line to congratulate you. Banter. Abby knocks and she and Chad come in. Sorry to interrupt. Chad - Do you guys have a minute? Hope - Yes, come in. Rafe - Hold on a second, shouldn't you two be getting ready for the big day? Chad - That's kind of what this is about. We need to find Dario. Rafe - Dario ... as in my brother. Boy, what happened? Chad - The Judge isn't going to finalize the annulment unless he signs off on it. Abby - Didn't you talk to him when the whole Raines thing blew up? Chad - Do you have a number. Rafe - The number was blocked, untraceable. Hope - What about the envelope you got from Dario with the evidence against Raines. What about that? Rafe - No return address. No post mark, nothing. Chad - There's nothing else you can try. There's nothing else you can do? Rafe - Believe me I've gone through every channel, I've exhausted every ? trying to find Dario. Nothing.

Sheila - Bet you thought you'd never see me again. Eli - I'm glad that's not the case. Sheila - Don't get carried away. Don't touch me. Eli - You look good Sheila. Sheila - No thanks to that rat hole I was stuck in where I looked like hell and felt like it too. But you wouldn't know nothing about that since you never came to see me. Eli - I'm sorry about that. It's just ... Sheila - Don't bother explaining. I figured you were wrapped up in your fancy-assed FBI job. How's that going for you anyway? Eli - It was going fine until I got fired. Sheila - Huh! Well lookie lookie, there might be justice in the world after all. Eli - Sheila I wanted to tell you what was going on ... Sheila - What Eli, rewrite history? Pretend what went down didn't go down cause we both know there ain't a damn thing either one of us can do to change what happened. Gabi walks up - Eli.

Vic - Just why are you eavesdropping on my calls Adrienne. Bonnie - Oh I wasn't listening to anything. I just seen how rattled you were. Vic - You shouldn't be where you can see me rattled. Maggie - What was the call about Victor? Vic - Titan business, nothing else. Bonnie - I thought you were retired. Vic - I don't give a damn what you thought. And why are you still here? Bonnie picks up her bowl of fruit. Maggie - Is that melon? Bonnie - Yeah I brought it for Victor but he wasn't interested. I'm so sorry Victor, next time I'll bring you some of my special hot cross buns. No can say no to those. Vic - Try me. Bonnie - You know, you should try being a little nicer. You keep lashing out like that sooner or later someone's going to lash right back.

Segment 3 Chad - What about the guy who worked for Dario. Rafe - Myron? No, he hasn't heard from Dario since before the hit and run. Abby - What about your Mom? He used to talk to her once a week. Rafe - He hasn't called her, probably worried they're tracing the phones. Hope - Or he doesn't want to worry her. Rafe - I'm sorry, it's like he's fallen off the face of the earth. Hope - Gosh I'm so sorry. This is going to be so hard after everything ... all the arrangements you made for the wedding. Abby - Well it is Paul and Sonny's big day so we're going to be there no matter what. Chad - What are you talking about. We're going to be there. We're going to have a damned double wedding. It's going to be our day too. Kiss.

Eli - Gabi, hey. Gabi - Eli, what's going on? Eli - Nothing, what are you up to? Gabi - I just finished dropping off Arianna at ballet class. Eli - I bet she's excited about her debut as flower girl huh. Gabi - More than excited. She keeps dropping rose petals all over the house. Eli - So what time should I pick you two up tomorrow. Sheila - I guess he's not going to introduce us. Hi I'm Sheila. They shake hands. Eli - Sorry. Sheila, Gabi. Gabi this is Sheila. Gabi - Nice to meet you. Sheila - Likewise. Gabi - So how do the two of you know each other.

Marlena - Eric I know how tough it is for you to work with Nicole but honey to give up the work that you love so much ... Eric - Mom, it was the right choice. Marlena - You've done so much for the Center. You breathed new life into the place. Eric - And I didn't do it alone. Nicole was a big part of that. She's going to do an amazing job as it's Director. Marlena shakes her head. Eric - What? Marlena - It's the way you light up when you talk about her. Eric - And now you know why I couldn't stay. Don't tell anyone that my decision to leave was because of her. Please don't tell John, especially not Nicole. Marlena - You don't want her to know that you're in love with her.

Brady sits down with Nicole at a table. What did Eric say? Why did he leave? Nicole - I don't know, I didn't see him but he left me a letter explaining his reasons. You can read it. Brady reads. It seems like he's really prepared to move on and he's putting you in charge, that's great, right. Nicole - I guess. Brady - You guess? It's terrific. It's a vote of confidence in you Nic. Nicole - It does feel good to know that he thinks I can handle it. Brady - It's because you can and I'm proud of you. Nicole - I'm going to let you finish getting ready for Paul's bachelor party and I am going to go home and check on Holly. Have fun tonight. Kiss. Behave yourself! Brady - I will.

Eric - Mom I don't want Nicole to ever know that I'm in love with her. Promise me that you're going to keep this between us. Marlena - I told you I would. I just wish there were a different solution. Eric - There's no other way. Marlena - I know you feel that way but I will keep on hoping that you change your mind, that you come home where you belong. Hug. Eric - I love you Mom. Marlena - I love you too. ? Take care of yourself. You are so precious to everybody that knows you. Eric winks and leads her to the door. Marlena leaves. Eric's cell rings. Hey Brady. Brady - WTH are you trying to pull!

Segment 4 Vic - If I offended you I'm sorry but I'm not interested in your melons or your buns. Maggie - Good heavens Victor, really! Vic - Well it's true. What do you want me to say. Maggie - You came in for your phone, didn't you. Bonnie grits her teeth and under her breath says - You're going to regret treating me like this. Vic - What are you mumbling? Bonnie - Nothing. She leaves. Vic - That woman is getting on my last nerve. I don't know how Justin puts up with her. Maggie - He's in love. Vic - In love, out of love, he's going to get fed up with her shenanigans soon enough. No wonder he cheated on her. Maggie - Oh Victor. Vic - The thing is I can't remember Adrienne being so obnoxious. I never liked the woman very much but I never thought of her as a royal pain in the ass. Maggie - She's been through a lot so I guess she's changed. Vic - Obviously for the worse. Maggie - I agree but we need to be nice to her. We have to really try for Justin's sake.

Bonnie is pacing in the foyer. Boy would I like to teach those old coots a lesson. What a lesson would it be for Magpie to know exactly what I heard her sweet old Victor say on the phone just now. She's going to go back in but stops herself. No, no, no. This time I will do it differently. As they say revenge is a dish best served cold.

Sheila - Eli and I were old friends from back in the day. I guess I'll get back to work. Sorry to bring up a sore subject. It was nice to meet you ... Gabi, right? Gabi - Right. Nice to meet you too Sheila. Sheila - Take care. She leaves. Gabi - Are you okay? Eli - I'm great, why? Gabi - What did Sheila mean by back in the day. Eli - Long story. Gabi - Well I've got nothing to do, plenty of time so you can share it with me. Eli sees Chad and Abby. Chad, my man. What are you guys up to? Running errands for the big day. Chad - Not exactly. We hit a bit of a hiccup but we're going to get it worked out. Abby - We may have to postpone the wedding for a bit but it's good.

Brady - We agreed that you were going to fire Nicole. That didn't happen, why? Did you think you could guilt me into changing my mind if you pretended to leave instead. Eric - I thought you objective was to make sure I didn't see Nicole every day. Brady - You obviously had a problem with that. Eric - Actually I didn't. You were right. The situation wasn't fair to you or me. Brady - Well at least you got that much. Eric - You got the results you wanted Brady, what difference does it make how it happened? Brady - It makes a big difference man. I didn't ask you to leave the people you know and love. Eric - Just Nicole, right. Well I did so what does it matter as long as the work gets done whether it's me or her. She's going to do a great job. Brady - I don't doubt that. Eric - Then be happy for her. She feels like she's making a difference and she is. I could never take away that happiness anymore than I could take away her happiness with you or yours with her. Brady - I don't know what to say. Eric - Then don't say anything, just be happy. You're my brother and that's all I want because I love you. I'll miss you. Brady - I'll miss you too. Good luck to you man. Nicole comes back.

Segment 5 Brady - I thought you left. Nicole - I forgot Eric's letter. I wanted to double check that their weren't more instructions for the Center. What's wrong? You look upset. Brady - I just got off the phone with Eric. I was trying to convince him not to leave. I don't want him to leave. Nicole - Well if anyone could do it you could. Brady - His mind is made up. Nicole - You're a good brother for trying. Brady - I don't feel like one. I didn't want any of this, sorry. Nicole - Don't beat yourself up. It's not like you're the one who made him leave. So is he hiding. Did he tell you where he went. Brady - He didn't say. Nicole - Whatever. Listen I better get going. Kiss. You okay. Brady - Yeah.

Bonnie is just heading up the stairs when Sheila comes in the front door. Where are off to? About to play let's pretend with Justin who thinks you're the real love of his life. Bonnie - Keep it down. Justin isn't even here but the two old lovebirds are right in there alright. Sheila - Mags and your future sugar daddy. Bonnie - I said quiet. Sheila - Oh don't have a cow. Bonnie - Where have you been anyway. You're supposed to be here to serve lunch. It doesn't look too good for you to just cut and run whenever the spirit moves you. Sheila - I went to get some air not that I can get anything else seeing as I'm barely scraping by on this lousy maid's salary. So when are you going to fork over the big payday you promised. Bonnie pulls some money from a wallet and hands it over. This should tide you over. Sheila - Is that even yours? Bonnie - Duh, do you carry a purse when you're dressed like this. No, it's Maggie's. She's got so much she'll never even notice. Sheila - Well don't take too long getting me the rest because if you don't I'm going to tell Justin where the real Adrienne's holed up. Bonnie - Don't you worry. I'll deliver. Sheila - So you made progress with the old man. Bonnie - Actually no. See Victor may not be interested in my melons or buns but a juicy little tidbit of information just fell into my lap. Sheila - Oh yeah, how juicy? Bonnie - Well let's just say I have everything I need to blow up him and Maggie. I've just got to figure out when's the best time to drop the bomb.

Abby - And since nobody's been able to reach Dario including Rafe we haven't been able to get the annulment finalized. Chad - And we can't do it until he signs it so ... Abby - I'm sure this is the last thing you want to be talking about. Gabi - No I care about both of you and I'm glad you told me. I feel really bad. You tried to help my brother and you're still paying for it. But I think there might be a way I can help. Chad - Really, how? Gabi - I know a way to contact Dario. Chad is all smiles.

Segment 6 Nicole stops in front of the door to the K mansion and recalls her moment with Eric and then her talk with Abe. She pulls out her phone and then shakes her head. You're already gone. I have to let you go. She decides to make the call. Eric answers. Hello Nicole.

Rafe and Hope are working in the interrogation room. Rafe - I hate that I couldn't help them. Dario's already put Abigail through enough now she can't marry Chad because of him. Ridiculous. Hope - It's not like they're never going to get married, they will. At some point they will. Rafe - Yeah, some point, right. Hope - It's not the when that's important, it's the why. Like us, the why we already have. We love each other and we know we're going to be spending the rest of our lives together. Rafe - Right. Not only that but no matter what happens we'll always make each other happy. Hope - No matter what. Kiss.

Gabi - Dario read in the Spectator that I got dragged into the whole mess with Raines and decided to call because he felt bad to see if I was alright. Eli - You never told me that. Gabi - I thought if I told you you'd report it. Abby - You didn't tell Rafe either. Gabi - For the same reason. Dario and I thought it would be better if we didn't put him in a compromising situation but I think if Abigail calls he'll give you what you want. Eli - You have his number! Gabi - I have the last phone number he called me from. Abby - Yeah but if he sees my name I don't think he'll answer. Gabi - You can use my phone. Abby - You sure? Gabi - Yes I'm sure. I will dial and you'll talk. Dario - Gabi, is everything alright. Abby - It's me Dario, it's Abigail. Dario - Are you alright? Abby - I'm fine. Dario - I'm sorry Abigail. I haven't stopped thinking about you. The last thing I ever wanted to do was ... Abby - I said I'm okay but I do need something from you which is why I used Gabi's phone. Dario - What do you need? Abby - I need you to help end our marriage.

Segment 7 Maggie - Now that it's just the two of us do you want to tell me what's really got you so on edge. Vic - It's nothing. Maggie - No, it's not nothing. Adrienne mentioned a phone call. Now did someone say something to you that upset you. Vic - I will take care of it. I don't want you to worry about it, please.

Sheila - Well girl don't keep me in suspense. So what is it you have on the Greek tycoon. Bonnie - No, better keep this one to myself. Sheila - Come on, you've got to give me something. Bonnie - Let me put it to you this way, what I have on Victor will make him tap dance to any tune I choose and get me the revenge on Maggie that I've been waiting for. Sheila - I wouldn't mind getting a little revenge myself. Bonnie - What's that supposed to mean? Sheila - Better I keep it to myself for now.

Dario - How can I say no with everything you've done for me. Abby - Thank you Dario. Dario - I really am sorry Abigail for everything. Abby - Take care of yourself. She hands the phone to Gabi who says something in Spanish. Dario - About time, right. Gabi - Sorry I tricked you into thinking it was me. Dario - No it was a good thing even though I know this must not be easy for you either. Gabi - Yeah I will get that document sent to you electronically. Dario - Are you sure it won't be traced? Gabi - Well JJ taught me how to block that but you're going to have to move. Dario - It's time anyway. Gabi - I love you. Dario - I love you too. Abby - Thank you. Hug. Well it looks like we're getting married tomorrow. Chad - Hell yeah.

Marlena comes into the Pub. Hello, anybody home. Brady comes out of the kitchen. Marlena. We're closed for ... Marlena - A private party, yes I heard. Brady - You going to jump out of the cake or something? Marlena - Oh Brady, really. I'm doing less of that these days. Brady laughs - Thought I'd ask. What are these? Marlena - Well John can't make it so he asked me to drop off this box of Cuban cigars. Brady - I love this! Let me guess, another ISA assignment? Marlena - No he had to coach a little league game. He tried to get a sub but he couldn't. If he can't coach they have to cancel the game. Brady - He would never disappoint the kids. Sorry he's not going to be here. Marlena - Yeah he is too but he will be at the wedding. Brady - If Paul survives tonight. I have a little bit of entertainment planned for him. Marlena - Oh should I be worried. Brady - It's my duty as a brother to provide this entertainment. Marlena - Speaking of brothers I guess you heard about Eric. Brady - Yeah he told me he's leaving town. I can't believe it. Marlena - I couldn't either but I talked to him and I think I understand what's going on. Brady - What did he say to you? Marlena - He said he had accomplished what he had set out to do at the Center and it's time to move on. I guess I was just hoping he'd stay closer to home but I don't think he's going to. It breaks my heart. Brady hugs her - Sorry. Sorry.

Nicole - Why did you do it Eric? Why did you quit the Center? Why did you leave Salem? Eric - It's all in the letter. Nicole - Yeah I read the letter. It still doesn't make any sense. Eric I know this is your decision but I still wanted a chance to say ... to tell you ... Eric - Tell me what. Nicole - Goodbye. Eric - Goodbye. He ends the call.

I'm a bit both - they've been times when I would have leapt on board Bricole. (2009 just before her wedding to EJ) (After she lost her second baby) ....but they have been written attrociously this time round...there's really Nothing to be supportive of.

Does anyone actually like Rafe? God why can't this guy be off my screen? The dry eyes guy is not as monotone as that dull bore.

I finally saw the final segments of the show. If I didn't like Deidre and Eric together so much, I'd have given up on Brady long ago. I really liked their scene, and I hope he feels properly ashamed now. I don't mind John missing the party, but little league is the worst excuse for him. Well, kids. I'm out of the sanitarium and back from an 8 month ISA job. Let's play some ball.

Coaching a little league game in late September? LAME.
Fall Ball....my kids have played that for years. It goes into the early part of October.

I didn't have a lot of time so I skipped rope and chabby with Gabi.

I didn't love the Eric and Marlena scenes. They were fine. But they gave no indication if he's ever coming back or stopping there and then moving on. I do like jen told her given the history.

On the flip side, I loved the Brady Marlena scene. He looked visibly ashamed and he should. I enjoyed the banter too. They really play well together. LOL at her concern over the entertainment Brady had planned

So. Sheila. I got the sense she went to jail for something she and Eli were involved in. Like she took the fall and he went on to his successful life. I'm so curious for that backstory.

Oh and Maggie and Victor were on. I wish Adrienne heard how they talked about a person they think is her.

Some places have "Fall Ball."
Yea, not buying it. Maybe in the south but not where I live, and doubtful in Salem either. And It's still the lamest excuse ever.

didn't Adrienne once live in that mansion with Maggie before moving out? I don't remember when it was, but you'd think she'd notice how different she's acting now (as Bonnie).

Oh real nice, Eric. How dare he ask Marlena not to tell her husband he's in love with Nicole. As if John would tell anyone, let alone stupid Nicole.
Why would she have to tell John though??
Because she's upset about her son's decision and wants to talk about it with someone who understands walking away from the woman you love because you feel she belongs with a "better" person than you?

Gee, why on Earth would John of all people be a good sounding board about Eric's situation to Marlena? Not to mention the fact that he's her "husband" and they talk about their kids and this does affect his too.

How bout it's none of John's business? Eric told his mother in confidence and ask her to keep that confidence. Not seeing the outrage I'd keep my kid's confidence if asked to.

I just watched and the Eric/Nicole/Bricole stuff is my kind of drama. That is the stuff that will make me tune in. I wish they would have more Eric/Marlena scenes because although I liked them it would make more sense if we had seen Eric confiding in his mother before this. I adored the Brady/Eric scenes because I finally started to care about Brady again. If he feels guilty I might be able to forgive him for being such an ass.

I also liked Gabi/Eli/Sheila.
