J&M and Family Fanatic!

I would much prefer a different group of characters, but this is the best the show has looked since Fall 15.

I think this basically sums up how I feel as well. I'm not really enjoying the stories or characters getting major focus, but I can't deny that the show is much more coherent and soapy than it has been for a while.

Oohh, Freddie's actually crying with tears. Maybe he'll step it up with this story.

It plays perfectly for me which is far better than the NBC website. For some reason it's always blurry.

This looks so good. I hope that Sonny's not the only one to get to confront Ben. Days dropped the ball when they made Ben's initial exit all about Abby and Thomas.

Incredible promo. Ben is so badass!! And to think he was so boring when RSW started. Making him the serial killer was freaking brilliant. And RSW is amazing! “The dude ain’t dead”— love it!!
This is why I never want to see Ben redeemed. He came alive during the Necktie Killer story. A complete bore before that.

Shallow comment time. I'm so glad they cut Freddie's hair. I can't imagine taking him seriously in all this with that Corleone grease mop on his head.

Just the looks Sonny gives when Ben screams Will is alive. Tears in his eyes when he says Dude isn't dead. Next week can't get here fast enough

The characters that have had no real attention in years i.e. Paul and Sonny? :eyeroll:

RSW said that Ben mixes it up with a lot of characters. I'm hoping Sami, Lucas and Eric get a shot at him.

So because they have had no real attention in years (debatable), everyone must enjoy them getting major focus now?

Oh man!! Is it Monday yet???
I know.....

How long has it been since I thought that? I don't know if there was a cliffhanger during the 50th that equals this. I mean the Aiden thing was the only "Cliffhanger" we got.

I hope I am saying "Is it Monday Yet?" a lot more now. I think Ron has the right balance and Sheri has taught him a lot of the show's history. It feels right again to me.

Yes and no.

I don't like Sonny at this point because of the Titan stuff; FS' declining acting ability; and the lack of chemistry between Sonny and Paul. But I could get on board if some of those issues were mitigated with the upcoming story. I've long loved LGBT stories on soaps -- I have said that on here many times -- so I hope the show can reel me in with this story.

My biggest issues are with the characters who haven't really been backburnered in the last few years: Chad, Abby, Brady, Nicole, etc. Billy's acting has gone downhill with the continual stuttering, and I don't see any chemistry with Marci. I'm also generally not impressed with Marci in the role of Abby. The characterization of Brady is just grating, and his relationship with Nicole seems very thin. Nicole's characterization has greatly improved, but I'm not interested in seeing Brady and Eric fight over her.

I'll admit that Freddie's acting during the Deimos/Titan storyline was often abysmal but I'd say that he's been back to his old self i.e. engaged in the storyline since Sonny got out of jail. I still see the chemistry between PaulSon that was there from the beginning. For me, it's been here all the time except when Freddie was phoning-in scenes most of this year.
