I don't care for the "Abby in her head" bit at all. It feels awkward and forced and kind of stupid.
lol, honestly, I liked how unintentionally funny it was when Ben put things into perspective and mentioned that he wasn't even there for her. I thought the point was a neat little wrap up of Abby's journey with Ben, but it did seem a bit sudden and unearned for MM's Abby. I'm also increasingly baffled that MM's Abby continues to skate by on doing the bare minimum and being lauded for it.

I LOVE Ben, RSW has more charisma than all of the other guys in his age group. I'd permanently swap, Chad, JJ, Eli and Sonny to keep Ben.

John continuing to film the whole charade with his phone was the best thing about this episode.

I got to see the dream/Abby fighting off her mental illness and it was quite good. The direction, lighting, music, camera work etc. was everything. Marci made me feel her as Abby finally.

Sonny keeps saying "my husband." I wish he would personalize it and say Will's name.

I'm in the bit I got to see before news interrupted and yeah...Paul don't want to hear that Will is alive.

Today's episode was exactly what I hoped it would be. I walked in the room just as it started and when it ended, I noticed I didn't sit down. I stood at my chair the entire episode! So many great moments to mention but I'll try.
The vows Paul gave Sonny were perfection, the excitement in Sonny's eye was gorgeous. When Ben interrupted, ya just felt it. It was needed to have Abigail wonder if she was maybe losing it again. I'm glad they shifted the focus at that moment. To have the entire room shut off and it become only Ben and Abigail, to me, was brilliant. When she WOKE from that, took her power back and punched Ben's face...it was thrilling. Marci really showed up today and it was awesome to see.
Ben was in FULL piece of shit mode! His lines and delivery were nothing short of delicious. I also appreciated JJ, how he jumped up instantly when Abby was heading toward Ben and in his dialogue later in the episode. That was a beat that had to be played TODAY.
There were so many great little moments but the best part of the episode, in my opinion, was the juxtaposition of Abigail's vows to Chad against Sonny's memories of Will. It flowed so perfectly and with each new view of Sonny, he became more and more distraught. Meanwhile, sweet Paul keeps glancing at Sonny...noticing. When Paul asked if Sonny was ok, Sonny clearly wasn't...and this part DID get a giggle out of me. Sonny did the very gay "I Can't shuffle" back UP that aisle and out the church. Lol Bless him, Lord. 😉

The end where Ben lifted his head to a troubled Sonny was EVERYTHING! I can't wait to
see this unfold. It feels SO good to be hooked DAILY again. I'm all about this story and today is just the beginning of what's ahead. My favorite part is how there are no guilty parties (at least, we hope not) between Paul, Sonny and Will. That alone makes stakes higher in my opinion, especially in this type of scenario.
It's been a tremendously horrible feel in the air the past 24 hours and it was a small relief to escape to some GOOD Days today! Can't wait to see what's next!
Prayers and thoughts to those affected by the tragedy in Vegas. Standing united, it affects us all! Much love!

I can't remember...were JJ and Paige working things out when Ben murdered her?

Ben's comment to JJ about how JJ could make the next Abigail wedding....LMAO.

In a different context, the idea of it would have been really good.

It was jarring and I was afraid some viewers could get lost with it. I appreciated it for what it was and thought they did a good job with it. But, removing my own tastes, it was probably too much and maybe not layered enough. I personally enjoyed it though.

What did she even do? I honestly don't remember what she did in this episode besides fill Eli in on who Ben is.

LOL I thought she was awesome mad....but happy? She's near 55'ish Diane Keaton giddy for such a younger lady.

Aw, these memories...these flashbacks. The first kiss. Sonny's tears.

Which writer screwed up Will and Sonny? They need to never ever write again.

Nah, it wasn't that. It was the kind of scene you have at either the beginning of a psychotic break or the end of one (and I guess you could build an argument for it being the end of one, but....meh). It just didn't quite fit the context of what was actually happening.

The loss of Sonny having his mother here for him in this moment makes me so mad.

Right! Yea, I do get that. I think I'm just thrilled it was SOMETHING that I'm excusing it. Lol. It could've been better if done that way. I know what you mean. It was good for what it was..to me at least. Haha.

Tomsell wrecked their marriage but they also wrote all the good stuff so it's a draw

What a sad layer to put on this situation. I don't mind Bonnie per se but I won't be sad when she's gone either. I keep thinking there has to be some elevated twist to this Bonnie/Adrienne situation that'll make sense later. A boy can hope! 😋
