I am confused... just how are Eric and Brady related? I thought they were stepbrothers...
Yes they are. I consider stepbrothers a relation as well. I just mean that Eric is so different from Brady. Who would seriously pick Brady over Eric?

Ben killed only 2 women? Poor Wendy apparently doesn't count as a victim of Ben's.... Her death was actually creepier and more tragic to me. We had to sit there waiting for the gunshot after Ben took Wendy outside the cabin. Poor forgotten Wendy..

Paul thinks Clyde was trying to alleviate Ben's guilt. Sonny agrees but thinks Clyde would have said he killed no one then
poor Paul! he's got a rude awakening coming and he's nowhere near ready for it.
I was thinking maybe that's why John agrees to the grave thing. Thinking it's gonna be empty and Paul will get it.
I'll be annoyed with John if that's his reasoning. Lumi's son's grave is not a teaching aid for Paul.

Right but they also should confirm it's empty so everyone's hopes aren't up for nothing. I have trouble believing they leave for Memphis without checking that grave.

The Ben/Clyde/Hope stuff was really good. The Ben that Clyde saw was a broken man. I LOVED that Hope pointed out that Ben realizing Thomas wasn't his was more lucid than he'd been.

The Ericole stuff was good. It's a little distracting for me because it's so obviously a rip off of the plane. They did some good history jumps, though.

The S&K stuff was stupid. They have something to actually fight about.

The Titan stuff is ridiculous and keeps being retconned. Sonny fired new people. Brady wasn't even supposed to be working for Titan when he went on the run. Just

I wish the whole episode would have been Ben/Clyde flashbacks and Ericole.

They should open the grave, but they need a spectacularly good reason to do it before Lucas consents or Sami is contacted/consents.

"Let's help Paul understand the situation" is not a spectacularly good reason.

Eric tells Nicole not to worry about him. She calls herself a fool for leaving him for Lucas all those years ago.
Well this I can agree with her.

No wonder Victor is such a crab ass. I'd be too if I had to listen to the children bicker all the live long day...

I love Steve and Kayla. Don't love the not being honest with each other about Tripp... Oh, and Joey wouldn't find out about the wedding while in prison? I imagine prisoners live for juicy gossip from the outside world. He'd know anyway....

Not feeling whispering Eric and doofus Nicole at all. Not to mention dumbass Brady.

Again, the best part of the show was Ben. He's a bat shit crazy killer, but he's not boring. LOL It was also great to see JR as Clyde again. Clyde's such a creep, but I do enjoy JR.

Ok episode

I think the thing that's a little jarring for me is during the SSK everyone was like DIG UP THE BODIES. Like once a week. People were just so happy to have hope someone was alive. So I'm struggling with the opposition

I liked quite a bit of today's episode.

Ben was once again a highlight. I like how Thomas' paternity is still an emotional touchpoint for Ben. I wasn't necessarily expecting that angle to be brought up again, but I think it makes sense given how pivotal that baby was to the original story. Clyde's connection and insertion into the story was also well done, although I have to chuckle at how the dialog is making sure the audience knows that Paige and Serena are dead. dead. dead. LOL.

Hope is so much better without Rafe.

I've criticized the Ericole stuff as of late, but I enjoyed their scenes today. They were set up as classic soap, and the inclusion of Eric's history (i.e. staying away for years) was well done. It felt like real payoff for those who've enjoyed the couple, which makes the next turn in the story such a downer. All that natural chemistry wasted for years on Dicole.... :shame:

Not a fan of Sonny in business mode, but I did get a little chuckle out of him throwing the Canadian kidnapping plot in Brady's face. Brady is so awful.

Of course it was nice to see Steve and Kayla today. I thought it was a little weird how the episode started with them dancing, though. That kind of stuff is usually left for end of episode montages. And while I like that Kayla gets a voice and feelings, this stuff with Tripp and Joey is getting a little...IDK...tedious? I think part of the issue for me is that I find Tripp and Joey to be boring to begin with, and then the long breaks in the story just make it harder to really care about the development of the story. I think their involvement in the Bonnie stuff with be a nice change for me.

Tripp, Claire, and Theo are  .
