People are expecting any empty grave. Is it possible they find a body but it is not Will's?

And just like that, my glimmer of hope is gone.
Serena is really dead. :(
Sorry, Aqua. :(

But, it was a long shot. At least Serena and Paige have gotten mentions. Poor Wendy the midwife is completely forgotten as one of his victims.

Tripp leaves in good terms and Theo and Claire start kissing.
This is ridiculous.

I just want Tripp out of their bubble. Theo and Claire are insufferable.

I liked most of today.
The Hope/Ben/Clyde scenes were definitely the highlight. RSW is good at playing crazy and emotional. I really enjoyed the undertones of how he expressed doubt and remorse of how he wasn't good enough for Thomas. He did act more "lucid" and that bombshell that he only killed 2 people, it's getting exciting! I love James Read and I missed Clyde. They both play villians well.

Also loved there Ericole scenes. They were so soapy in the rain at the farmhouse. They were trying to fight it but it was so obvious they're undeniable attraction and I love it. Love the history they pulled. I could've watched the first two stories and been perfectly happy :)

I love S/K. I'm happy to see them, but I think they've got bigger issues than if Tripp attended the wedding. I also think they're writing Kayla as giving mixed messages. She's not ready to "see" Tripp but she's upset Steve told him that as a reason to stay away. It's not a good look, and it feels like the writers are making up drama. I loved their dance and their ending scene and kiss, but overall I can't wait til they're out of their darn bubble.

I feel some sympathy towards Paul. he's about to have a rude awakening but oh soapy.

I liked quite a bit of today's episode.

Ben was once again a highlight. I like how Thomas' paternity is still an emotional touchpoint for Ben. I wasn't necessarily expecting that angle to be brought up again, but I think it makes sense given how pivotal that baby was to the original story. Clyde's connection and insertion into the story was also well done, although I have to chuckle at how the dialog is making sure the audience knows that Paige and Serena are dead. dead. dead. LOL.

Hope is so much better without Rafe.

I've criticized the Ericole stuff as of late, but I enjoyed their scenes today. They were set up as classic soap, and the inclusion of Eric's history (i.e. staying away for years) was well done. It felt like real payoff for those who've enjoyed the couple, which makes the next turn in the story such a downer. All that natural chemistry wasted for years on Dicole.... :shame:

Not a fan of Sonny in business mode, but I did get a little chuckle out of him throwing the Canadian kidnapping plot in Brady's face. Brady is so awful.

Of course it was nice to see Steve and Kayla today. I thought it was a little weird how the episode started with them dancing, though. That kind of stuff is usually left for end of episode montages. And while I like that Kayla gets a voice and feelings, this stuff with Tripp and Joey is getting a little...IDK...tedious? I think part of the issue for me is that I find Tripp and Joey to be boring to begin with, and then the long breaks in the story just make it harder to really care about the development of the story. I think their involvement in the Bonnie stuff with be a nice change for me.

Tripp, Claire, and Theo are  .
Oh I'm glad you mentioned tripp theo and Claire. They are boring. There's just nothing there for me.

Take note, various writers from the past 5 years: see what Ericole did today? Would that really have been so hard to do before AZ left the show?

Pretty much agree with all of this.

I'm also enjoying the mixture of rage and lucid moments from Ben. I think it makes the performance more interesting to watch because it's hard to know just how he'll react at any particular moment.

Also agree on S/K. I also thought the Tripp wedding argument was quite stupid, and I can't decide if they're using these small "issues" to hint at a larger problem, or if they really just don't want to bring up the fact that Tripp held a scalpel to Kayla. Like I said earlier, it's becoming tedious in their ignoring of that incident. I also agree that they're writing Kayla as sending mixed messages. I know Steve has big communication issues, but she's not necessarily helping the situation either.

Well, I learned Tripp has bad taste in music.

Still laughing at the rain at the farmhouse.

Loved what Sonny said about Brady harboring a kidnapper. Wish they’d bring up Brady being a drug addict too though.

I loved Sonny's masterful takedown of Brady. :cheer:

However, I did feel a little remorse that he used Nicole to do it because she's always been supportive of Sonny even though they rarely interact. In fact, she was just expressing sympathy for him and Paul the other day.

Thank you JCP.

It is too bad that Kayla isn't a psychiatrist, then she and Marlena could consult.

I’m sorry but the contrived Horton Center job plot point is not helping me take this Eric/Nicole thing seriously. The acting and dialogue is not helping either, as well as Racoon-eyes Nicole.

Yeah. Then maybe I wouldn't feel like a bitter old shrew wanting Nicole to get whatever Brady throws her way.

I actually can't wait to get home and watch for the first time in a while. I need to go watch the Marlena/John plane scenes for comparison. It sounded like classic soap.

I'm still miffed they are ripping off one of the best story lines in soap history AKA "the plane" with John and Marlena. Some stuff should just be left alone.

I think they shouldn't have made it SO similar. Right down to the storm outside.

I feel like I’ve seen this same scene a bunch of times... someone (today it’s Nicole) is telling Eric to come home to Salem and that he can’t hide away in the farmhouse yadda yadda.

I’m trying to figure out how Clyde would know such a thing.

Poor Ben, still waiting for a nap.

It’s still the night of the wedding and Claire gets home and changes.. but not into sleepwear. This day needs to end, please.

“I don’t know what you want from me Kayla..” LMAO 😂

Is there no security at Bayview? Everyone’s looking for Clyde, alerts on the news, etc but he can walk right into a psyche hospital?

Glad the history of Salem weddings was brought up but how would Clair know? She must have gotten a primer from her grandparents. :D
