Decent episode today, if a little slow. The cliffhanger was great, though.

The Kate/Clyde scenes were a highlight for me. It took a while for them to really get going, but I liked how Kate tied her treatment of Lucas/his drinking into the whole thing. Again, I thought the dialog was stronger than parts of the performance. Lauren was better than yesterday, but there's still something a little off about her crying for me. James Read was good as the creepy villain, as always.

Greg Vaughan should be firmly in the show's leading man role(s). He has a charisma and charm that I find largely lacking in Eric and Galen. Otherwise, the Nicole/Eric scenes weren't anything earth shattering; I just thought the charm was on full display.

I kind of hate that Victor is correct about Nicole's actions, although I'm not rooting for Brady to be right either. I also noticed that Victor used the "gratitude is not the same thing as love" line again today. Nicole and Abe have also said it recently. That must be the theme for this story.

Hattie's reenactment of Anjelica dying was hilarious. Otherwise, I wasn't feeling much from that story today. I think the story lost momentum with the big break they took.

Marlena and Roman...eh. Basically just filler so they could be at the pub for the cliffhanger.

Adrienne/Hattie and the Clyde stuff(even though it’s about that punkass loser Will) sounds like the only interesting stuff today. Happy to see Sheila is on. Can we please keep the Westons and say bye bye to the overplayed Dimeras? Please.

The rest just sounds horrible and boring. BoringEric, bitchNicole, and dumbass Brady can all rot in hell, they all three suck.

Half Halt

Eric is a big dummy.

Nicole is nuts. How many best nights of her life has she had just in the past year? LOL

She should have called Brandon so he could cover for her. If you're going to lie, make it good! LOLOL

I really wish they'd use a different colored room once in a while, so we can actually believe they are in a different location.

Some good lines today. Clyde: "The reality is you're a bitch on wheels". :blulaugh:

Bonnie to Victor: "It's a beautiful day". Victor: "Not anymore". :blulaugh:

Bonnie to Victor: "Some people would think you're being rude". Victor: "Some people would be right". :blulaugh:

Good luck blackmailing Victor, Bonnie. It's a he said/she said situation. She can't prove anything. Other than she isn't Adrienne! LOL

Brady is pissed, and I don't care. LOL

Eric made up for lost time. Horny much? LOL

I'm guessing it is Rolf in prison (I can't remember where he's supposed to be now! LOL), but that crazy scientist wouldn't know how to look convincing for Clyde. Clyde is a creep, but he's not stupid.

Good episode

Quoting limited to 3 levels deep
Someone in the know might want to weigh in on this. She's never officially said she doesn't want to work with him, but she was a part of ending Ericole.
I believe it was a third party that felt a tad uncomfortable with the onscreen chemistry. I’m no authority but I do know someone on production crew that says the “third party” is present during the taping of their scenes.
That must be awkward.

Wow! Impressive episode today! Glad to see progress with Bondrienne and I think I like DH as Hattie more than Marlena. Lauren killed it today! Loved so many of the nuances she played in these scenes with Clyde. Ericole and Brady were meh, more crazy Brady throwing things around.

I too am dying to know who the other inmate is! I don't think I've seen anything in spoilers and none of this weeks guests listed has given anything away. I'm wondering if they will feature this person this week or just name them.

The fact that Nicole confronted Eric before she confronted Brady confirms she is just selfish. end the relationship you are in before you start another. It wouldn't hurt Brady any less, but at least you could have pretended Brady had a right to know first.

OMG is it really a new day? :o

Am I suppose to believe Adrienne hasn’t gotten access to her phone call by now?

Why can’t it be Abe talking to Marble Mouth? I really do NOT need to see Marlena talking to him about his non existent love life! Why does RC insist on putting his face on my tv screen? I also don’t need to see or hear anything about Kate’s love life.

How would Brady know anything about the workers at Titan? He never leaves the house. He’s been drunk for weeks.

I wonder how Victor knows Nicole didn’t come home last night? Is there a check in? Does he peek into their room to make sure everyone came home? Yeah, right.

Eewww, Eric touching Nicole’s greasy bangs. Of course his hair is super greasy and she obviously didn’t touch it all night cuz it’s perfectly combed.

LOL that Clyde and Kate get a vistor’s room that looks just like Eric’s Horton Center office with a flag, and a lamp, and some clip boards on the wall.

I thought today was decent.

Loved the Clyde/Kate scenes. They were long enough and not choppy to really feel the emotions of each scene. I appreciated what JR & LK brought to it and how Kate is referencing Lucas alot.

I love the Ericole/Bricole mess. I love that we've actually seen them talk and be in bed and they didn't skimp on scenes. I love the charm and chemistry and angst of Ericole. As a Nicole fan, I'm going be very sad when she's gone next week, but I'm so glad Ericole fans got a pay-off this summer/fall. I find it ironic that both Abe/Victor have referenced the differences between gratitude vs love and how that concept will be what makes the rest very messy/soapy.

I mean no disrespect to the actors or anyone enjoying the doubles, but I'm tired of it and I think it lost it's punch after J/M were found and Hattie was revealed. I have no desire to watch Bonnie flirt or blackmail Victor. I am relieved that Adrienne finally knows the truth and hope they get her out of there soon.

LOVED the cliffhanger! Dr Rolf?

I understand that in theory - but if Eric was looking at me with those ideas I'd definitely put "breaking up with Brady" on the things to do later list.

That wouldn't be soapy now, would it?

But possibly useful research for EM for acting choices.

Brady to Victor: “She would never betray me. She wouldn’t do it.”

God, sometimes this show needs a clue about subtlety.

How did Dr. Rolf last leave? I'm totally blocking on his 2007-2008 run. Was he behind faux-Rafe? I remember the whole Weekend at Bernie's thing they did in 2003 when he died and Bart carted his body around Salem, but I don't remember his return. If he's in prison, then he's definitely the inmate Clyde indicated today, but I'm guessing he's in Memphis based on the spoilers.
