JJ's big assed grin while holding Thomas with the choo choo was cute. :blulaugh:
Marlena appeared ready to retch when Eric told her he was back with Nicole. lol
EM was great today playing scary/psycho Brady. I still don't understand why Brady's so upset with Nicole. FFS, when has Nicole ever done anything rationally? Although his pointing out a couple of the other stellar catches he made, Kristin and Theresa, it's clear he's not the sharpest knife in the drawer.
I do give Brady props for not mentioning it's Daniel's heart that's broken. Now that I think about it, that's kind of a win that the douche's heart is broken. lol
Nicole is her own worst enemy. She does such shitty things, and then when things finally go her way, BAM! karma. LOL
John caved quickly to Paul's request to dig up Will. I knew Sami would show up at the last minute. They didn't even get to break ground. Oh, the wheel barrow was a nice touch. :blulaugh:
I have to say I have never been in a position where I'd think digging up a grave was a good plan, but then I've lived a fairly sheltered life compared to those in Salem... lol
Good episode
OMG Daniel's broken heart is in Brady. Can you imagine how Dena would have played this????
Well Brady is playing it exactly how I would expect Daniel to react to the situation.
Lets hope Kristen managed to convince Dr Rolf to resurrect Brady's dead heart and we can dig that Jonas heart out of him and put it back in him.
Did any female ever "leave" Daniel or was he always the one to do the leaving?
I can see him fainting dead away at being rejected.
I had a moment of sympathy for Brady when he talked about Eric literally ripping his heart out of his chest. That's a plot point that has been grievously underplayed because of course everything always had to be about the orange god. When Brady first saw Eric in the hospital after the accident, he didn't precisely open his arms to him but he was kind and compassionate and essentially promised that he'd forgive Eric. When Eric's name first started getting dropped again after he went to prison, Brady was said to be answering his letters and was shown encouraging Nicole to forgive too. When Brady's transplant heart acted up again, he was completely matter-of-fact about it and never indicated that Eric had anything to do with his impending demise. Brady's just never reacted to what Eric did to him because it's been all about Daniel and Nicole.
It's been even worse in the other direction. When Eric spent years moping about what he'd done to his "best friend" I was impatient and irritated because I never bought Dan as his best friend. But Eric upset about nearly killing Brady through his recklessness? I would have been here for that.
Eric is a cheater, plain and simple. What he did to his brother was wrong. I feel like he and Brady have changed places. So sad.
You really think they have changed places? Eric may have gone over to the dark side but Brady didn't turn good like Eric has been this whole time, lol. Brady is still way worse.
Just like i don't feel sorry for nicole in any of this i dont feel sorry for brady either because his pathetic behind was willing to live with lie as long as nicole did.
The boy saw the comet and he felt as though his life had meaning.

I wish Marlena were a little bit more like Kate sometimes!! she'd definitely put Nicole in her place for messing with her sons!!
Marlena can get fiesty, remember those times she slapped Sami and Brady.
😂😂😂 this is priceless!! I love it, I see Kristen, Tony and John sure got a lot of good slaps!! I especially love how hard she smacked Samantha Gene, Brady and Victor those felt so real!! I had no idea she slapped/punched Tony so many times 😂😂😂😂
I do think that Eric has been written out of character the last few days. I think they could have had he and Nicole sleep together and still preserve some of his integrity. He should have resisted sleeping with her. I loved the scenes, but it isn't in character for him to betray his brother and even though I think Brady is a complete ass this is a betrayal. It's not out of character for Eric to be the other man with Nicole though since he did sleep with her when she was married to Lucas. I think there ARE extenuating circumstances. Back then she was planning to leave Lucas and thought she had cancer. I can see them not being able to stop themselves at the farmhouse, but he should feel some guilt about it and the real problem with this story imo is that they aren't showing him feeling any guilt. Today his scenes with Marlena were good except for the fact that he did seem almost oblivious to the fact that being with Nicole would hurt his brother. He wasn't TOTALLY oblivious because he commented on it, but there just should have been more dialogue about how he felt guilty or even just bad about hurting Brady. They really missed it there.
I actually loved the Brady/Nicole scenes. I've waited so long for Nicole to choose Eric and today we basically got some dialogue that has her choosing Eric over both Daniel and Brady. I would have loved for her to REALLY choose Eric over Daniel, but I can live with the fact that she is choosing Eric DESPITE the fact that he is responsible for Daniel's death. What I hated was the way Brady talked about Eric and even though he has a right to be angry, it's his maliciousness now and back when Eric was raped that cause me to have NO sympathy for him at all.
I missed a lot of Bristen because I'm not a huge fan of Eileen but I caught a clip of the scene with Brady, Daniel, and Eric and did Brady really believe Eric was a willing participant in that? I was shocked!
Based on the dialogue yes, but I'd say it was more about being nasty to Eric because of Kristen then actually believing that. Which is part of why I have no sympathy for Brady in all of this. I have never forgiven him for how nasty he was to Eric during all of that.

But his apology was so lovely! One of the best Days family scenes in recent memory.
Except now he's in the process of retroactively ruining it.

Also, Brady took FOREVER to let go of his anger. He sort of apologized as a plot device for Eric to let Kristen (the woman that raped him) get out of the rape charges so that she would give John a cure. Brady owes Eric a LOT. So I don't feel the least bit sorry that this one time Eric is being less than noble.

It was nice. But it was SO long overdue. And Eric was so long suffering which is what makes me so angry at Brady. I loved it, but yes he is undoing it all today.
