That was one of the worst versions of Sami. Remember when she held John at gun point because she was so obsessed with the idea that John was gonna kill Marlena. I think she actually fired the gun but John ducked the bullet in slow motion Matrix style. |

Nick Fallon's death needed to happen, especially if they weren't going to stop throwing him into Gabi's/Will's/Sonny's orbit. I'll give BB credit though...he was a villain that you just loved to hate because the show took its time and played all the beats of how he got to the point he did. It might also be why someone like RSW is so good too. :chee: |

I don't think she found it amusing in the slightest. Besides, he was about to knowingly engage in a criminal act. She was merely doing her civic duty by calling the police. It wasn't about her "being a brat", she was protecting her son's "alleged" remains. It's not her fault John was coerced by his fake retconned child to commit a crime. |

Daniel is dead, can't we PLEASE have somebody rid this show of Rafe too? GG has exactly one expression for every scene he does. |

That's what I said!! That line just screamed LAZY WRITING!! Paul doesn't give two shits about Will because, if he did, he wouldn't have done half the things he's done. I'll say though, if he "loves" him, he's got to have the most bizarre way of showing it. I mean, I love the friends and family I've had who have since passed on, but I sure as hell wouldn't just go around exhuming their bodies just to prove a point. |

Fuck off Rafe. He's such a useless pain in the ass. Continually absurd to me that Bryan Datillo and Wally Kurth can't get on contract but here talentless Galen Gering still is sucking up a contract role when Rafe has long outstayed his relevance. |

Right on; Can't decide if it's the writing or the acting but the character of Rafe has always sucked a whole bag of di€ks! |

Not to mention Paul didn't even know Will was married, let alone Sonny's husband at the time they slept together. |

I think it's both, but mostly the fact that unbearably smug and self righteous is the only thing Galen Gering knows how to effectively play so even when Rafe is supposed to be warm and likable it just doesn't come across. |

Eric might start drinking again ( if there's any alcohol left after Lucas and Brady down it all). |

The only bit I liked was the bit with Brady and Lucas. |

Paul came across as very disingenuous to me. |

Wow... I didn't expect that episode to be so dull. Sami's scenes with John and Paul were so much less than what I expected. Everyone was pretty calm, John barely said a word and Sami wasn't even that angry. Paul was the stand out to me and I'm sure that wasn't the goal. I don't know if that's what Ron had in mind or if the scriptwriter totally botched these scenes. I wasn't impressed by Ali's acting at all in this episode, you can tell that she really struggled with her first line, it was a mess. I hope she's better in her scenes with Bryan. Rafe is so annoying but I feel like right now he's at least written that way on purpose. If that makes sense. Dena adored Rafe, I don't think Ron does. He makes him look childish with his beef with Eli and very hypocritical, criticizing how Hope does her job, saying how she should do it and then that he respects her new role. And the fact that he talks about the importance of following the rules is ridiculous. I still like Eli/Gabi, they had a cute scene in the beginning but then it started to be about Rafe and I lost interest. I was so tired of the drawn out Nicole/Brady conversation but at least Nicole got a little mad in this episode and I liked that. I'm not sure about this exit at all, the Ericole part is great but the Bricole part is awful. I have disliked Brady for a long time but I have a really hard time believing he would do this. That being said, I appreciate Eric Martsolf's commitment to the story. Someone like Billy Flynn would have bitched that the writers were making his character look bad and Nicole's exit would have made non sense. Always nice to see Chloe and I would like her to have a bigger storyline. But at the same time, she works well as supporting and there's another maternity leave coming, it's probably best if she stays on the backburner for a while. |

I think that's part of the problem with Nicole's character in general. Whatever is happening to her NOW is "the best" or "the worst." Her life is guided by her current emotions and circumstances. There is no growth. No layers. No depth. Everything is superficial. |

I am loving big bad Brady. Its the most interesting that I've seen him. He's good at it, and shows that he can really act. That is not to say I like everything he is doing, but I get why he is doing it. He is devastated. Loved Brady and Lucas. Sami's line delivery in the first couple scenes were bad, but I liked the rest of her stuff. I liked Nicole and Chloe too. I do wonder if Eric will start drinking again when Nicole leaves him. If so, Salem better stock up!!! |

I have to wonder after today's episode, what's next for Brady & Eric storyline wise. Will all this craziness over Nicole have lasting storyline, or is this going to just be a sudden storm that abruptly ends. Almost all the triangle has played out in an isolated manner. Yes Chloe has a clue, as does Jennifer and so does Marlena, but none of these people have been really injected in this storyline to add additional layers, they have been more sounding boards to the main charcters. So Brady has turned drunk and dark, but only Nicole & drunk Lucas have a clue about this. I wonder why TPTB kept everything so isolated, why they didn't have both Jennifer & Chloe get to have some charcter motivation. Let's suppose at some point the show wants to go back to Chloe & Nicole or Eric & Jennifer or even flip that around & go Jennifer & Brady and Chloe & Eric. Why not show concern or allow Chloe to reflect on her past with Brady, to recognize that this is a type of behavior for him, perhaps even hint that he isn't really in love or that he simply doesn't have the sticking power for a relationship. Maybe even return to memories of his drug issues in their marriage. Perhaps it could have been hinted that some of Chloe's reason for telling Nicole that Eric loved her was due to her connection to Brady. Even Jennifer, why does she have to be so kind and understanding, why not at least allow her a conversation with Hope discussing that Eric has left to be with Nicole and the implication by them that they know she will eventually wreck Eric again, some concern that the relationship will cause him to spiral out of control. A declaration that Nicole is poison, so that when Eric comes back broken there would be added layers .. Even Marlena, I know she is busy with Will, but all hell is about to break loose with her sons and she has hardly got to reflect over it. I want to see the Marlena who rolled her eyes back when Brady announced to her that he was in love with Nicole & leaving to go on the run with her. I wanted to have Marlena at least acknowledge that the last time Nicole broke Eric's heart he killed somebody. It seems that when this is over the only person who is going to get a solid I told you so, is Victor to Brady. |

I know I'm in the minority but I actually like Eli and Gabi's interaction and I like that she takes up for him against Rafe. |

I struggled with this episode. Three days of the Brady Nicole fight was too much. Rafe is beyond ridiculous. Why bother making Hope commissioner? I thought ali played those John scenes WAY down. She certainly wasn't super furious (which if one by me but a weird choice given the setting) I did love John calling her sweetheart though. A little thing showing the relationship there. |

She was unhinged, and that’s saying a lot where Sami’s concerned. |
