The Paul and Sonny scenes were very soapy. Sonny seemed appropriately shell shocked by the whole thing.
The Bonnie situation just makes me laugh out loud every time I see it. Though Magpie's lackluster reaction makes me question her supposed great love for Victor. Where are her water works?
Swiney still has problems acting. One scene was just awful, but at the end it was refreshing to see she still does scrunchy face well. Chandler's pulsing neck vein was prominently featured.
Nicole was showing too much conflict of emotion in their scenes. For someone who fooled Sleaze-J with a pillow etc., she should know how to lie more convincingly. Unfortunately all I see these days is a discusting orange aura around her. The theme of the day was breaking up.

I expected Maggie and Justin to have more incredulous reactions.
Not if they are all playing Bonnie. This story feels just like the Abe is a bad guy story. Everyone’s in on it but the bad guy.

Exactly. Victor was completely subdued, which just never happens. LOL For Justin and Maggie not to notice that was ridiculous. I did laugh when Maggie exited the room, stating, "The Gorge is Rising!!". :blulaugh:

I hope Bonnie's fall is epic, or I will be very disappointed...

Another ho-hum episode for me...mostly.

The Eric/Nicole stuff was kinda, sorta okay. But I feel like it should be the beginning/middle of a larger triangle story, as opposed to the end of one. I also feel like Eric is acting more possessive and pushy than he has since his original return in 2013(?), and I'm not sure if that's totally in-character. Big ups for Greg's crying skills, though. I love a man who can really cry.

I liked the ending bits of the Sami/Lucas scenes, but thought the rest just kind of dragged. The flashback was overly long, IMO. (I saw those eyelashes quivering, Chandler...).

The Paul/Sonny scenes were brought down by Freddie, IMO. The ending line about not enough room for the three of them was good, though.

The Bonnie stuff is stupid. I don't know what else to say about it.

Overall, I think the Will stuff is starting to lose me already. It's just too subdued or something. I feel like I keep waiting for some kind of dramatic punch, and all the opportunities are being squandered...so far. Like, the grave stuff could have been great, but it ended up being pretty flat. The Rolf cliffhanger was good, but then the next episode was just a bunch of exposition about him. I'm sure there's a good reveal coming with some fake outs, but so far, I'm disappointed.
I felt the same way about Eric today, Nicole was acting in charcter and the other day while Brady is getting crazy, he was kinda in charcter, I expect Brady's possessiveness & his behavior had been slowly building to that sort of gradual progression. But today Eric was really taking a turn toward possessiveness I had not seen before. There was a real genuine tone of desperation in his voice. He told Nicole he couldn't loose her again, that he wasn't letting her go, how much they belong together. Even when she wouldn't respond in kind to his words he desperately physically approached her, kissing her, hoping he could break down a wall, but she continued to reject him.

I know this is being forced on her, but she broke him today & it's possible he once again won't be able to pick those pieces up. It's weird the destruction that both Eric & Brady have experienced by loving & losing the same woman within such a short period of time.

Finally saw the last parts of Lumi and WOW, they got even better as the show went on. I loved Lucas' line about losing everything that he loved. The show better be casting Allie soon.

I liked today.

Lucas and Sami were good. So much history there.

I get where Paul is coming from and I get where Sonny is coming from. Its not as easy answer.

The jig is so up for Bonnie. I dont know about Justin but Victor and Maggie are so on to her. No way would Maggie react that timid that Victor is suddenly divorcing her and marrying Adrienne.

This Bonnie storyline makes NO sense.

How in the hell does Maggie not recognize that this is Bonnie and not Adrienne? And why hasn't the fact that Bonnie and Adrienne look identical not been addressed? Why haven't we gotten the scene of Adrienne flashing the guard in prison we were promised?

Every single beat in this story has been missed. I'm glad we're almost to the end of it.

Wouldn't Justin want to sleep with Adrienne after being separated from her for so long? Has that even come up?

Did Paul say 'when John and Steve find Rolf?" I don't see Steve involved in that storyline

I only get sucked into the Eric and Nicole stuff because of the actors and their chemistry but the emotional impact is missing.

BD and AS trying to squeeze out tears with their scrunchy faces. I just don't care about Will, Lucas and Sami and it sucks that it feels like its taken over the show.

Yea it’s being played for the camp and humor. Nothing else. I haven’t read spoilers but I think I read something about a wedding. So they’ll do up a big wedding and expose her somehow and we’ll get the big reveal that they all knew about her. Because today was just too obvious. Maggie was especially obvious.

I regret to admit that I think the Lumi stuff was good, particularly:

Lucas casually telling Sami he woke up with a dead woman, and Sami visibly filing that away to deal with the matter at hand.

Lucas describing Sonny as "oh yeah him" and Sami's nonverbal reaction.

Sami gloating to Lucas that she stopped the grave robbing and Lucas' "yeah you did." The old partners in crime popped out for a second.

Sami's downright mature " We gotta talk about you. Yeah, we do."

And then Trump made sure I didn't get the Allie reference or the drinking. Kind of hard for soaps to keep their audience when they're the only programming that's constantly preempted with the audience expected to put effort into finding the content on another platform at another time.
It's only NBC, Y&R and B&B usually remain on air.
Yep, it is. At least for these "Trump speaks with another leader" things. ABC didn't interrupt The Chew (which they rarely do but GH still sometimes gets interrupted) and I believe CBS didn't either.

Today's episode belonged to two people ...AS and GV.

AS's acting has been uneven to me since her recent return but she really brought it today in the morgue scenes. GV showed what he can do when Eric is unleashed from his goody goody persona. It's shame that his part in the triangle was the smallest because he's strongest actor out of the three. AZ was okay today.

I liked the PaulSon conflict but it left me wish there was more to it and because there wasn't Paul's exit looked like total diva move.

I am loving how soapy the show feels again, even when I'm not 100% on board with certain things. It just continues to improve IMO.

Nicole and Eric were soapy and both actors were checked into the material. GV really shined, though. That man knows how to make me feel things. I agree with others who say that this definitely doesn't feel like the end of the story. I have no idea how Ron is going to handle Eric/Brady now that Nicole's exit is upon us.

The Sami/Lucas scenes were good, but I expected... more. I don't know. I thought that the flashback was way too long and I'm not really sure why they bothered doing it TBH. Why not just show the original Lumi flashback and then just cut to Chandler lying there? I definitely think the original scene packed more punch.

Bonnie continues to be great, but I was really underwhelmed by Justin and Maggie's reactions. Even if they're going with the whole "everybody is on to Bonnie already" route, the reactions to Victor/"Adrienne" just aren't believable at all. Also, if they're all in on it together to bust Bonnie, they're all going to look like terrible people for waiting to humiliate her rather than demanding answers about Adrienne's whereabouts. Either way, I'm excited for this all to blow up in Bonnie's face.

The whole thing doesn’t work for me because everyone seems to have collective amnesia about Bonnie except Bonnie.

I'm not sure what was going on, but Eric seemed super amped up when Nicole arrived and he was really out of character in the way that he was unconcerned about Brady from the get-go. Don't get me wrong, it's nice to see him putting his own needs and desires first for a change, but it just felt so out of character for him. Ericole continually breaks my heart. Fingers crossed for a speedy return with a miracle pregnancy for Nicole.

I found it a little out of character today when Maggie called adrienne a serial cheater, she didn't even seemed concerned that this was not the adrienne, that she knew  plus Justin cheated too.

I just rewatched the scenes in the courtroom when Nicole explained why she had married Lucas - there were definite similarities in Eric being possessive and pushy.

Interesting, I hadn't re-watched those old scenes, but I was definitely remembering that Jensen-Eric had acted similarly back then.

The Ericole scenes were only one episode, thank goodness. Awful exit for Nicole. After all the destruction, this is how she leaves? In a pathetic ball of tears with her tail between her legs. Not sure why I ever thought she would leave on a high note. :soapbox: The performance of EM saved the whole thing really and I am assuming that's what this was all about anyway.

I love watching Lumi. To me that was the best part. They are 40 but they remind me of when they were teenagers  I thought they did better with the morgue scene this time around. Lumi going on an adventure, solving a mystery...Christmas came early :cheer:

No... Every Rafe scene or Roman scene is bad acting. AZ and GV are academy award winners compared to them.
