Oh, the scene with Marlena and Abe where she tells him that he gets to love both Roman and John.
This scene for me, too.

I couldn't make myself watch most of the death scenes with various characters. That's just too hard for me.

Some of the more poignant tearjerkers that I *did* watch were positive happy scenes that made me cry because I was deeply moved.
Steve and Kayla's wedding on the boat had me crying buckets.

Oh! I forgot this one. It doesn't move me to tears as much as it impresses me from an acting perspective, but Eve breaking down in her apartment after Paige's death has GOT to be some of the rawest "in mourning" stuff I've ever seen on this show. Still can't believe it didn't win her the Emmy.
oh yes that Eve scene also omg..

Marlena and Belle-Mother and Daughter

The death of DJ from SIDS, John's "death" in 2007 and Marlena breaking down in her bedroom after the funeral; Deidre should have gotten an Emmy for that, Abe and Marlena when she tells him that he gets to love both Roman and John, Marlena after her possession and realizing what she had dne to everyone she loved, when Marlena chose Roman over John; those scenes were heartbreaking, when Belle was returned to Marlena at Christmas Eve, when Carrie talked to Marlena when she was in a coma. There were so many emotional moments for me on the show.

That was just a several day long soap acting master class. I didn't cry when Eve demanded to be allowed time with Paige's body but I was certainly sick to my stomach.

And it's all the more impressive because what viewer ever cared about Paige the way so many cared about Bo, Will, Alice, Lexie, etc?

Alice announcing that Tom had died.
Chris having Maggie sit in Mickey's chair to accept he was dead (Stefano had him).
Renee and Trista's deaths.
Roman's death in Bo's arms on the beach.
Marlena getting the phone call about Roman.
Marlena railing at Bo about leaving Roman's body.
Hope's death over the vat of acid.
Bo breaking down in front of Alice when he accepted Hope's death.
DJ's death.
Kayla on the roof after Steve's death.
Bo and Kayla before he died.
Marlena's plane crash.
Diana coming face to face with "Marlena" on Stefano's island.
Kimberly and Shane's divorce papers being signed, when neither wanted this.
Kimberly saying goodbye to Shane, then breaking down (in more ways than one).
Isabella's death.
Liz singing to Tod as he died.
Marlena waking up from her coma and seeing herself in the mirror.
John's execution.
Sami's execution (the family's reaction).
Lucas's reaction to Will's death.

The last time I sobbed because of this silly show: Everything Bo and Hope the episode he died. They were both amazing.

This scene for me, too.
It was real and raw and so simple.

Yes, Bo and Hope dancing to their song...that got me, too. The music from the old DAYS is still so powerful. In fact, I think they brainwashed us with it. As soon as certain music plays, the memories come flooding back and I get goosebumps.

Yes, music plays a big part! Hope opening the puzzle box back in 1995, and reciting her letter to Bo, with a beautiful score in the background... The looks PR/Bo gave KA/Hope was amazing.. A very emotional moment and definitely a tearjerking moment

I'm a crier by nature, so Days has made me cry a lot.

DJ dying of Sids.
Margo dying from leukemia.
Renee dying after the big dinner party where she told everyone off and told Tony how much she loved him, and it seemed like they were finally going to be together.
Marlena finding out John was Roman.
Carrie at Marlena's hospital bed when Marlena was in a coma.
Marlena dying both when Orpheus rigged the house explosion and when her plane went down.
Bope losing their first baby while Bo was undercover trying to take down Vic.
Diana's father dying.
Steve talking about his childhood and being sent to the orphanage.
Steve finally picking Kayla over Jack and realizing that his memory of Billy was keeping him from seeing Jack as he really was.
Kayla getting her voice back during her wedding.
Stefano letting Benjy go for Benjy's own good.
Steve's death
Hope's death.
Marlena and Abe after Roman came back (I cried for Marlena and for myself because I loved John as Roman and was so excited when Deidre was coming back and felt so disappointed).
Isabella's death
The plane (twice - devastated when John seemed to be leaving, tears of joy when he and Marlena made love).
Belle's birth.
Returning Belle when she was kidnapped.
Marlena confessing about the Affair.
Maison Blanch when John drank poisoned soup and when Marlena sacrificed herself to save John.
Tom's death.
Aremid - John saying goodbye to Belle and Brady, and John writing 'The Letter' to Doc.
After Marlena died in Possession, and John was so devastated in the morgue.
Zach's death.
Alice's death.
John's death.
Shawn's death.
Bo's death.

As a guy and i totally have no shame in saying this i say the only scenes that made me cry was when EJ died in Sami's arms not not only because i loved Ejami only watched Days because of them, but also it was like end of era for me as i followed them from day one until the end i could no longer watch after that. The other sad scenes that i had a tear in my eye was when baby Grace died Sami's daughter those scenes so powerful to watch i remember them like yesterday. I think Bo's death was very sad as well along with Will's apart from that i can't think of anything else.

Several of mine have been mentioned.

When Hope and Bo had to give up TJ I bawled.
When Marlena was buried alive and Sami was so sure she was not dead.
Zach's hit and run, then his death.
EJ's death scenes with Sami and then in the morgue.
Seeing Johnny at home in EJ's glasses waiting for Mommy and Daddy.
Eve and the aftermath of Paige's death.
Bo's death in the snow.
John's death and Marlena in her bedroom was killer stuff.
Caroline Brady at Will & Sonny's wedding.

I'm not someone who cries with TV shows but these are the scenes that truly moved me:

1. Kayla telling Steve Jack raped her and then asking him to hold her.

2. The scene where Sami tells the kids EJ is dead. The directing choice and decision to have it wordless was a brilliant one. It really drove home the sorrow of children losing their father.

3. Steve taking off his patch off for Kayla

I'm sure more will come to mind but that's all for now :)

I tear up at Days often but full on crying doesn't happen to me too often. A couple moments stand out:

In 1983, when Liz went to prison for Marie's murder, I was devastated. I cried for days and had to stop watching for awhile. In retrospect it seems strange that this particular event broke me up so much, but I was 11 so I guess that explains it.

When Steve broke up with Kayla for Jack, especially after the "shore leave" hookup scene when he broke up with her a second time.

When Steve died, especially when Kayla crawled into his hospital bed and said to take his strength from her.

And just this week, I bawled through the episode when Nicole broke up with Eric.
