Bonnie is done which leaves Will and Sami storyline consuming the show. The show desperately needs some good stories.
I think the JJ Theo story will take a big chunk of airtime soon
If JJ and Theo are going to be a main focus of the show in months, we should all go into hibernation and wake next summer because they are two of the most boring characters on the show.

I think the actions are the focus. They're related to and cross a ton of characters. Ron's stated it's an big umbrella story.

Thank you JCP.

In 2006, when he came back, Steve had amnesia and didn't care about any of that. Adrienne was gone and when she came back to help Steve after he got his memory back, she was a brunette.

I much prefer the way Marlena handled Stefano and Rolf than the way the Bull does. Good lord she doesn’t possess an ounce of grace or poise or class.

Aww, Kate missed Sami  And I absolutely hate these Kate and Andre scenes :x

I don’t really get Eric’s claim that he lost everything that mattered to him in his life when Nicole ended it. I mean, he was fine before all this started up.
I think Sami is being Sami, she has never been protrayed as anything but a bull in a china shop, she was never ever explained as being graceful. I think the obvious part is that Sami & Marlena are nothing alike and have never been. Each has a very different way about dealing with things, Marlena is much more tactful and thought out, Sami acts before she thinks, she is physical while Marlena is mindful.

I didn't expect Sami to be any other way with Rolf, it's always in Sami's way to sorta screw things up before getting the maximum out of the situation. If this was a storyline about Marlena searching for her child, it would be handled another way. But this is about Sami & currently drunk Lucas looking for there son, it's a mess and filled with dysfunction.

The big issue for me is I don't really have a clear or fully acceptable explanation as to just why Brady or Eric are so obsessed with Nicole Walker. To the point that each at one time has turned to the bottle and as a result made horrible choices. Brady is so desperate for her that he began drinking because of jealousy, then he actually blackmailed her forcing her to leave Salem while making sure Eric couldn't leave with her. Eric also climbed into the bottle of Nicole heartbreak, this caused Daniel's death & jailtime. Now Eric has nothing to live for, so he says, plus a messy farmhouse with a bloody hand.

Honestly, I would rather have had Nicole profess her love & forgiveness to Eric and then declare that she could never build a life with him because he killed Holly's dad. While she loves him, she just could not reconcile a life in which Eric could play a father to Holly knowing he was responsible for her father's death. Then I would have rather Nicole have left a dr John letter to the brothers explaining she couldn't be with either. Perhaps Eric could have been the person urging Nicole to leave Brady because he knew she didn't love him.

I really need Eric to wake up & see that while he is deeply obsessed with loving Nicole, she is and has been toxic to his life.

Gosh, I was hoping Kate would tell Andre her memory of Will when she made that awesome Will Doll and used it to try to make Sami go crazy and fall off a cliff! Now that’s a memory! :blulaugh:

Today was so-so for me.

I liked that Steve FINALLY figured out Adrienne was not Adrienne. But this last minute conclusion seemed inserted to quickly end a dog of a story. After watching that adorable video about Hattie's last run I realized that for me Bon-Bon fell totally flat without Hattie. It was the two of them that was entertaining or Hattie alone. Bonnie, not so much.

I like it when occasionally Kate shows her soft side but not to Tandre. If he is not Tony, forget it. Tony is missed and this portmanteau character is not working for me. Andre is a maniac, a killer and very vengeful. Tony is compassionate and sometimes a wee bit duplicitous. This guy comes off as fake.

Jennifer has a nice, gentle touch with those she cares for. The scenes with Eric were good. For some reason, leaving the farm house a mess hit a sour note for me. It just seemed wrong. Perhaps in that aspect it is my anal nature showing. But really, who would do that? Mrs. Faversham? Uh no she never left.
I thought they did clean it. Did they just talk about it and then leave?

I think I might just be watching for Eric. I want to watch other stuff, but Jennifer and Eric were all I cared to watch. I'm an ericole fan but I do think Eric and Jennifer have a nice chemistry.

A little bit was picked up but the place was a mess and that smashed cake on the wall and floor was gross.

They probably left that cake there because they couldn't afford to clean up in between takes.
I bet they didn't think us viewers would notice. Just like they don't Think we know that the farmhouse is the place Deimos & Chloe had scenes, or the same cabin in Canada that Nicole in Brady slept together and professed their love to each other. I wonder if after they clean the farmhouse it doesn't become the house that pretend Elvis uses during the search for will.

Apparently I missed a whole segment. I missed the forehead kiss, and right before that they mention leaving the mess.

Yeah, they definitely left the place a mess. I couldn’t help but notice that the cut flowers were laying on the leather couch when they left (noooo! water damage!!). I’m hoping no one else will be staying there any time soon because there is no way Eric washed the sheets, either.

Today was good, but I didn't enjoy it as much as I did the last few episodes. JenEric was okay. I think I need at least a one or two episode break from Sami. She's been on every episode since she returned. And I was super annoyed by Maggie. She threatened to divorce Victor because he allowed Marlena to play Kristen and Eric's sex tape at the Bristen wedding, but she was okay enough with him plotting murder to go along with his ruse to marry Adrienne? And I'm really tired of all of Steve and Kayla's scenes happening at the Pub. I miss their house set.

I liked today's show.
Thank God Steve figured out Adrienne is Bonnie. I did like that Victor, Maggie and Justin played her.
I like Eric and Jennifer as friends.
I even liked Kate and Andre.
Sami and Dr. Rolf weren't that bad either.
But hands down the best part of today, was finding out that Xander is free!

Okay. So overall I liked this episode better than all of last week. I really wonder what the difference was. It certainly wasn't the stories.

Eric/Jennifer - This went well. I was concerned about it, but enjoyed it. The characters really do bring out good sides of each other. I LOVED the dialogue about cleaning up Eric's messes. So layered. But I hope them leaving the mess isn't a sign of what they're doing to Eric lol. Eric's line about his dream/nightmare was great, too. As I said all spring, IDK where they can go with them long term, but I really enjoy their interactions.

Andre/Kate - Ugh. Kate had some nice dialogue about Will, and since she got so little when he actually died, I'm glad she's able to address it now. But it needed to be to anyone other than Andre. I hate them so much. I also hate Kate/Sami getting along, and it was weird today because Kate went from weeping about missing Sami to crying as she talked about how awful Sami was to her (yes, she left out some stuff there, but that's beside the point). There wasn't a good acknowledgement of how/why that changed, so it just sounded really weird. I'm hoping Andre is doing to Kate/Sami/whoever what everyone else just did to Bonnie. Hopefully he has something brewing and is luring them into a false sense of security. I mean...he got Rolf fast, and he seemed to know what Sami might do to him.

Hope/Rolf/Sami - Well. Rolf was great. Hope starting things off with a threat really set the stage for things to be awful. I don't get why these scenes ever even happened in his room. They should have been at the station. Sami was in character, but ridiculous...and that doesn't happen to be a part of her character I care to see. Rolf had some great lines, though. I loved him calling out Hope, and I also really liked his line to Sami about how she should know it's possible because of the life she's had. And his best line was probably when Sami said he and Stefano had terrorized Salem for too long, and he responded with, "Yes. The good ole days." I really didn't enjoy Sami hitting 500 year old Rolf at all.

Bonnie/Victor/Maggie/Justin/Sheila/Steve/Kayla - This was much more watchable today. While I think most of us were pretty sure they were playing Bonnie last week, it was nice to have it confirmed the way it was today. I really liked that they acknowledged a lot of the things we had pointed out (the speedy divorce for example). Sheila's responses to everything were great. Bonnie's entire blackmail plan was stupid from the beginning, and I'm glad they treated it that way. I was glad they re-established that Justin and Brady already knew. I liked hearing that Xander is out, and hope we hear from him again. That was also a good reason for them to have played along for a specific amount of time and then to suddenly drop it. The S&K portion was the low point. Kayla just didn't make any sense, and her reactions to everything were just odd. I wish Steve had figured out she was literally not Adrienne, but someone else had made the Bonnie connection. I mean...I don't care about Maggie's character integrity, but she could not look dumber here. Jennifer, Julie, or Hope would have all been good options, too.

I don't know where they can go with Jen and Eric long term either, but I like them enough to see how it goes.

Thank you JCP.

Jen and Eric boring, couldn't understand half of what he said.

I liked the non speaking looks. When Victor looked at Justin and Justin nodded. Justin must have been the one setting it up for Xander to disappear. The look Kayla gave at the end with the "yeah, we figured it out" and her side smerk look at Bonnie like "gottcha." :cheer:

Sami being Sami and getting the most attention as usual. :poof:
