Considering Ron blew thru S/Ks story at least, he gave them something to do in the stupid Bonnie story.

Enough with them always meeting at the pub. I know the house isn't around anymore but put them in Kayla's office or something. Anywhere but the pub over and over. This show feels so lazily put together.

What happened to the house?

And Xander's out of jail?

This is what I thought about today...

Thank goodness that Bonnie has been had, I am ready for that to be over. I am going to assume somehow Bonnie & Shelia hit the road before either ends up in jail & that Adrienne become free and just picks up the pieces and quickly moves forward.

I am hoping that the box of Nicole photos and the leaving the farmhouse is the end of obsessed Eric, that he really goes forward with his life. I didn't see any part of denial on Jennifer's part about where she lies reguarding her feelings for Eric & I liked that it was sorta acknowledged by them. Eric's line about how it was unfair for him to keep going on and on to Jennifer about his feelings for Nicole and her response that she knew what she was walking into & she decided to come anyway. I liked that Eric didn't want to clean up the mess, perhaps it's just more about him being done with the mess of Nicole & leaving it behind. Truthfully that Farmhouse is really all about Nicole & Eric's feelings for her, even when she hated him, he was living there all about the guilt associated with hurting her.

I did not like any off the Kate and Andre stuff. I felt as if they were trying with the storyline and yet I couldn't shake the vibe that Kate was attempting to be flirty flipping her hair & Andre with his flirty comments. It just seemed odd.

I didn't mind the Rolf stuff, I am excited at what it implies, that the search for Will will finally move to the next part of the story.

I cannot shake that Eve is just going to show up at the K mansion and she is just going to be some repeatish storyline like Bonnie, just sharing insults with Brady & Victor.

Why don't the just have Steve and Kayla run the pub & have them move upstairs. The should explain that Roman cannot handle full responsibility of it. This way Steve & Kayla would have what seemed like a sensible reason for always being there and seem much more useful. Living upstairs would explain them being there and Steve behind the bar is a better fit than Roman.

OMG! I’m so over Bonnie. I’m glad this is coming to an end. Just do not like Bonnie at all. And I hated that damn dress too. I’m glad that Justin/Maggie/Victor were playing her, but I do wish they had realized it was Bonnie and played with that card too. I hated that this story was wasted all in Bonnie and just a single ounce of Justin/Adrienne. Only bright spot was leading to Justin working with Steve/Kayla.

I have to see that pansy Eric cry one more time, I’m going throw something. No wonder he and Nicole were good together- they are both a bunch of crybabies. He’s simply pathetic. It’s same thing with this guy. Why doesn’t he just get a life and leave Salem. I hate that Jen is pulled into this crap now.

So over the Will crap. This whole story is just stupid.

Kate/Andre are just lame.

Sami can leave anytime now.

Mag tells Bon she fell for it all; Bon clearly pissed off; Andre/Kate concerned about Sami's possible actions; Kate says Will irreplaceable
I would love it if this line was a meta reference to Guy Wilson...

So far, Ron is showing a lack of knowledge on how to "pace" stories. Bonnie lasted way too long, the excitement for Will is gone already, and the Adrienne/Justin reunion seems like it will be rushed.
He also rushed Chad and Abby getting back together and failed to address some of their major issues from the Gabi triangle. I think the Bonnie storyline would have been more tolerable for a lot of people if it hadn't dragged on so long. Over two months of everyone having to walk around confused about what's wrong with Adrienne was just too long.

How does Maggie look at "Adrienne" - who is wearing a see-through wedding dress while attempting to marry her husband - and detect that she seems to have a grudge against her but still somehow Bonnie Lockhart never once springs to mind? Amazing.

I'm doubting it, but they addressed a lot of stuff like that in today's episode, so maybe they'll address that tomorrow?

I actually like that Sami is beating up on Rolf lol. I don't think he would have ever talked at the station. It is also such a Sami thing to do. He She has done so many horrible things, so I don't feel bad for him her.

Fixed.

Gosh, I was hoping Kate would tell Andre her memory of Will when she made that awesome Will Doll and used it to try to make Sami go crazy and fall off a cliff! Now that’s a memory! :blulaugh:
YES!

That's one prop I wish that they kept and hauled out from time to time to reminisce.

I refuse to watch Eric until he stops sniveling over Nicole. I think I'd be down for JenEric down the road though.

As I see it, the show has one of two options in terms of making Andre work. Either A) He's actually Tony or B) He's Andre, who is playing everyone for a fool and has some evil mastermind plan to destroy the lives of everyone in Salem. Because what's happening right now, isn't working. It would be fine if he was Tony... but it's completely OOC for Andre.

The wedding scenes were GREAT today. However, like I've said before, there are too many holes in this story and too many things unexplained. I'm guessing they'll be explained tomorrow, but they should have been explained before the story started, not after it finished.

I remember in 2008 Rolf was running around the DiMera mansion babysitting and giving Sami advice on life. I'm SO glad Ron has completely ignored that like it never happened, because it was ridiculous lol. I love seeing Rolf on my screen again! Talk about nostalgia.

A little bit was picked up but the place was a mess and that smashed cake on the wall and floor was gross.
Apparently I missed a whole segment. I missed the forehead kiss, and right before that they mention leaving the mess.
Oh Yes please can we focus on people cleaning up a cabin....

People break up, make up, have unseen children off screen ... I can't fathom why we don't get to see housework.

Second of all, why would Victor feel threatened by Bonnie's blackmail? He could just pay off the judge.

That’s what’s been bothering me all along, from back when she confronted him while he was eating breakfast at HTS. I thought for sure he must be playing her by the end of that first scene because why would Victor care if she listened to his convo on the phone, she didn’t have any real proof. And it would take him all of two minutes to get out of any kind of tight spot with the police or the DA. It was so weak that it wouldn’t even be taken seriously by the cops. For Pete’s sake, she listened in on a landline with no possibility to record it. She’d be laughed out of the police station. For Vic to actually sit there and take her seriously was so lame. That’s when I started to hate the story because it was just stupid. They couldn’t come up with something more intricate and sophisticated? I mean I guess it was a good story if you put aside Victor’s History.

Oh and put aside how nobody ever mentioned Adrienne looks like Bonnie, that lady who lived in town for years.

I have a YouTube that shows the doll but I couldn’t get it to show up in my post. That Will Doll story was hilarious and bizarre.

This is the first time in a long time that Maggie hasn't been insufferable.

Actually, I loved her today. I don't like crybaby Maggie... but the Maggie we saw today was strong and fun.

Thank you JCP.

I wonder what Bonnie's on the run outfit will look like. hmmm.

Oddly enough she goes to prison for something she didn't do. Did she break any laws this time, or did Anjelica do all that. Bonnie pretends to be Adrienne and I guess that is illegal and taking her identity and spending her money has to be a crime.

I much prefer the way Marlena handled Stefano and Rolf than the way the Bull does. Good lord she doesn’t possess an ounce of grace or poise or class.

Aww, Kate missed Sami  And I absolutely hate these Kate and Andre scenes :x

I don’t really get Eric’s claim that he lost everything that mattered to him in his life when Nicole ended it. I mean, he was fine before all this started up.
I think Sami is being Sami, she has never been protrayed as anything but a bull in a china shop, she was never ever explained as being graceful. I think the obvious part is that Sami & Marlena are nothing alike and have never been. Each has a very different way about dealing with things, Marlena is much more tactful and thought out, Sami acts before she thinks, she is physical while Marlena is mindful.

I didn't expect Sami to be any other way with Rolf, it's always in Sami's way to sorta screw things up before getting the maximum out of the situation. If this was a storyline about Marlena searching for her child, it would be handled another way. But this is about Sami & currently drunk Lucas looking for there son, it's a mess and filled with dysfunction.
I know all that. I was just saying that I prefer Marlena in these kind of confrontations with Rolf and/or Stefano. LOL nobody ever had to *explain* that Stompin’ Sami’s not graceful, all you had to do was watch her for two minutes on screen. :blulaugh:

I still don't like the writing for Hope. She threatens a suspect. Is disarmed by a civilian.Makes a feeble attempt to retrieve her gun.Turns her back on Sami while Sami is pointing her gun at someone who might be a suspect (grave robbing, desecrating a corpse,?) while Sami threatens and assaults him.Why bother to make her commissioner then write her character as very ill suited to the job.I simply don't understand it.

Bonnie was still in town when Steve returned in 06
Really?! What did he think of her looking just like Adrienne?
They never interacted. But, they were in town at the same time and he knew Mimi. Nobody ever commented on Bonnie looking like Adrienne because she was never supposed to be a doppelganger for Adrienne. That something Ron cooked up.
When JE left DAYS in spring '07 as Bonnie to serve the prison sentence in Statesville for killing her husband, although Mimi really did it, JE came back later in the spring as Adrienne and to differentiate between the two characters, the show styled Adrienne's hair in a long red wig. I'll never forget her sitting on the sofa in Bo & Hope's living room in a white pantsuit. Her characterization was the total opposite of Bonnie but there was never a direct acknowledgement of the similarity in looks of the two characters at that time.
