Jen/Eric were perfect in this episode. I just love them together so much. I love them together more than Nicole and Eric though I have a ton of respect with the way Days wrote them last week. Bringing up their past even before GV joined the show and way before AZ came back in 2007. I think that backstory was so important to the current s/l. It made it make more sense for me. When they brought GV on the first time they really f'ed it up making him a priest and Nicole pining for him the way she did. It was so dumb and annoying. But this time around I was really impressed. And AZ has seemed to become very vocal lately about going back, and though I love AZ and I think Nicole is an important to the show, I need the show to take a break from her for awhile. Because I really want them to give Eric and Jen a chance. Even though yes Jen is second choice, so is Eric. If Jack were to come back, it would be the same situation between them but reversed. I would love to have them get together only to be torn apart (or not ;) ) because of something happening in Jen's life (like Jack comes back or she gets hooked back on pills bc something happens to JJ (not saying that's what I want btw)). But I love these two together. I also think their scenes together today, at least i hope so, were a bit of foreshadowing. If they brought Nicole back, fans of nicole and eric would insist they get them back together which is why I think for now it's best she not come back for awhile. I guess next summer would be long enough to give eric and jen a chance but it be nice if it were a year longer (imo).
there is something very sweet, romantic and sexy about Jen and Eric that Nicole and Eric do not have and I think it's that it's sweet and romantic before it's sexy where is with nicole it's very sexually charged before the sweet and romantic stuff if that makes any sense.
(also just to mention I think the exit s/l for Nicole was excellent).

I think Sami last week was a little off aside from her scenes with Lucas and Marlena which I think were very well done. And I even liked her scenes with Abby. I think MM did great and I personally love her. Today's show Sami was in true form but there wasn't a lot of take away for me bc it's all about getting the story moving again. There was such a great pulse with Ben crashing the wedding to announce Will is alive and I think the show needs to get that back which is what I think her scenes were all about today. And as much as I like Kate and Sami's relationship today it was a bit off. Kate is not sentimental and writing her that way just does not fit for me. And also I agree with so many here about her talking about Will to Andre. Though I'm glad we finally get to hear how she feels (since we were robbed when it happened under Dena) Andre was not the right audience for an emotional sentimental Kate. It should have been with Lucas and where the heck was he today? He should have been with Sami. Though I want EJami i love Lucas and he is very important and needs to be front and center in all these scenes about Will. And this isn't against the character Andre; I think he is great for the show and I'm glad he is there. But he is not a nice person and though sentimental he really shouldn't be given Kate's genuineness.

I think the Bonnie/Victor/Justin/Maggie s/l was great and I think it played out very well. I also love that Xander is free and will probably show up in the future (maybe with Nicole?). I think the only drop here is that we should have had more writing for backstory on Bonnie; how she got out of prison, why she is obsessed with Micky, where did she come from, etc.. bc many of us did not watch under Dena's pen. I really hated they made Adrienne ill and found all that too depressing to watch and missed much of the roll out with Bonnie an it would have been nice to have a few clues on how this all happened. But I think they wrapped it up decently enough, with one exception. Maggie should have been able to figure it out all on her own when Bonnie said she was messing things up for her again. She started to and the natural story really went that direction for Maggie to say, "YOU'RE BONNIE!" In front of everyone. Then, as Bonnie denies it as Justin and Victor and Brady start to realize the possibilities Steve and Kayla come in with the final blow.

But I guess they felt they had to give that to Steve and Kayla since they have been put in a position recently to prop other stories. I think that having them talk at the pub was also a miss and should have been done maybe at the prison when Steve was leaving, having Kayla by his side. As far as Steve and Kayla goes they were weighed down by all that Joey set crap. Dena's strikes again. It was a mistake and now they need to be reset bc of that and I hope Ron can write better for them going forward. Steve was a nice touch to the Bonnie storyline imo

I also love how Justin was still so caring and loving to Adrienne when they finally 'ganged up on her.' He is a sweetheart and I love his devotion to her. It played off nicely.

Perhaps Hope wasn't all 'there' after Rolf reminded her that she is a killer and why Sami was able to take such advantage of the situation. And I think as she regroups we'll see her re-establish her 'authority.'

And lastly, I think Ron is doing an excellent job!! :cheer:

I feel like now would be a good time for Jen to tell Eric that Nicole did in deed love him.
I must have missed when Nicole told that to Jen. I don't think it would do any good to repeat that to Eric, it doesn't change the fact that Nicole is gone and he can't be with her. It would probably make things worse actually.

WTF with this Kate and andre bonding. Come on.
I hate it! But I knew Ron would go there, that he would love writing their relationship. I hope it stays one-sided, that Andre has "feelings" for Kate but and she doesn't reciprocate. It's still dumb that they changed Andre so much, wasn't he supposed to be a sociopath? Is there a cure for that?

I didn't like the episode. Jeneric scenes weren't bad, but too overly dramatic for my taste. I also didn't enjoy the wedding scenes even though I enjoyed JE as Bonnie a lot during all those months she was on my screen.
What else? Oh Sami is too hyperactive to me and Kate/Andre is not my cup of tea either.

So far, Ron is showing a lack of knowledge on how to "pace" stories. Bonnie lasted way too long, the excitement for Will is gone already, and the Adrienne/Justin reunion seems like it will be rushed.
The pacing has been off, but...overall, it's better than the last two regimes, IMO. They were far worse.
And I think his pacing on Days is better than his pacing on GH. "Fluke" lasted 1 year and a half, compare that to 3 months of "Bondrienne". I remember he also dropped a story completely and then finished it in 1 flashback episode (the mayor campaign?), that was so weird.

Anyway, I agree that the pacing could still be a lot better, Ron seems to struggle when he has to juggle with too many storylines, he's better when his attention is focused on just 1 or 2 big stories.

Yeah, compared to GH his pacing on Days is not bad at all.

I thought it was a well-balanced episode, the 3 stories were interesting.

My favorite part was the Bonnie reveal. Her story has been annoying and distracting for the past few weeks. But now that the Will story is getting tiresome, I don't mind Bonnie as much. And it was fun to watch that smirk wiped off her face. I knew they were playing her and I was hopeful that they had figured out she was Bonnie instead of needing Steve to resolve the mystery. It would have made more sense if they showed a flashback with Justin and Maggie guessing it. Anyway, tomorrow should be fun. Judi Evans is doing a great job at playing Bonnie. I just think the writing for her got worse after Hattie was arrested, it was over the top, she was doing well at impersonating Adrienne in the beginning and then she became so bad. And it made the people in this story look incredibly dumb.

I really liked the Jeneric scenes, I hope that if they sleep together again, it won't be because they are intoxicated or depressed and that a little bit of time will have passed, it's way too soon to push that relationship now. Their friendship is sweet.

The weakest part of the episode was the stuff with Rolf. I mean Rolf was fun in those scenes but Hope and Sami were annoying. The Will story was much better when the focus was on Lucas and Sonny/Paul. Now that Sami hijacked their story, I care a lot less. I'm still puzzled that Will is totally MIA in the story of his return. It's a weird choice. What GH is doing with Jason is better IMO.

A little bit was picked up but the place was a mess and that smashed cake on the wall and floor was gross.
Apparently I missed a whole segment. I missed the forehead kiss, and right before that they mention leaving the mess.
Oh Yes please can we focus on people cleaning up a cabin....

People break up, make up, have unseen children off screen ... I can't fathom why we don't get to see housework.
I don’t think a single soul asked to watch them clean.

I wonder does anyone think that Bitter Brady is really ever going to want Eric to be happy.
Does the storyline just die and he forget or will he secretly wish Eric unhappiness. Jennifer believes that Nicole left because of her own choice, perhaps Eric will also believe this. Supposed Eric & Jennifer do fall in live and develope a happy relationship. Is there a chance that somehow Brady's secret is exposed at some point to work at wrecking Eric's happiness.
What does an in love with Jennifer do when he finds out the supposed love of his life Nicole was actually blackmailed out of town by his brother.

Nicole told Jen she’d “always care for Eric” — a lukewarm declaration if ever there was one. And her last scene with Chloe was pretty noncommittal as well. I guess she was just living up to the bargain she made with Brady, but oh, how we miss spunky, clever Nicole. Motherhood may have been her heart’s desire, but it sure made her dumb.

Ok so. This was another mixed bag but overall not bad

I loved the Jen and Eric scenes and I loved the dialogue. I still can't believe he agreed to come back so fast but I really felt like he was leaving Nicole behind by leaving the farmhouse. He's so much less mopey around Jen. It's not the passion he has with Nicole but he seems like a happier person.

Andre and Kate. I just can't. They're ridiculous. I really hope this is some sort set up from andre.

Yesterday was a perfect example of how hope hasn't been fixed but the show thinks she has. Her threats to Rolf prove she learned nothing from the Stefano debacle.

Maggie. She looks so dumb. She's the one who literally knew Bonnie best in that room

I still can't fathom why Kayla would say let's stay here and figure this out when Steve wanted to go stop the wedding. Like cord said, they're a little time sensitive. lol

I don't think anyone wanted to see cleaning either. But cake being splashed all over the wall & door was extremely distracting. It was also mentioned more than once about the mess.
Jennifer wanted to help him clean up the mess, he told her he needed to clean up his own mess. Then when he agreed to leave he made a joke, anything to get out of cleaning this mess.

Welp...didn't take long for every scene regarding the Will sory to become ALLLLLL about Sami. The Kate/Andre conversation was complete and utter WTFery. Sami, of COURSE, had to ruin what short time Rolf has on the show for me. :flipoff:

While I like Jennifer being Jennifer...I just can't with Greg Vaughan. I've tried so hard to like him. His eyes act beter than he does. I've found him intolerably horrible in the Nicole brak-up scenes and he improved not at all while sharing scenes with Jennifer. Way over the top, WAY too mumbly...and doing that weird speech impediment thing he was doing when he first started. I just really don't see what anyone sees in him. He's really not good.

While I'm happy the Bonnie stuff is ending...I'll never understand WHYYYYYYYYY Victor and Maggie are even married. They have never made sense and still don't. I guess Maggie just has no regard for human life anymore. Whatever.

I'm glad Steve & Kayla "figured it out" I guess, I'm always happy to have them more involved in anything...But the way it was done and the reveal that Victor told everyone everything OFF SCREEN!...was pretty weak. It's kind of a Dena Higley style no payoff, pull a conclusion out of your ass without actually showing us anything. I was really liking RC's momentum for a minute there...I hope sweeps and the Will story start chugging along better because what a colossal disappointment. I've been waiting for proper fallout/payoff on this show for what feels like forever.

When is Lucas on again? John/Marlena? Because I think they're the only characters I'm thoroughly enjoying. Paul too, though not when it's just him and Sonny. Crazy. I was a PaulSon shipper when GW was playing Will. Now it's.."Sonny? You ARE the weakest link..."

If JJ and Theo are going to be a main focus of the show in months, we should all go into hibernation and wake next summer because they are two of the most boring characters on the show.
I think the actions are the focus. They're related to and cross a ton of characters. Ron's stated it's an big umbrella story.
Sounds like a big snore to me. Wake me up when it's over.

Finally Steve put it all together. I think that happened because they figured out Maggie was the key. Maggie was Adrienne's target and there was no reason for Adrienne to want revenge against Maggie and besides that revenge isn't Adrienne's style. I liked the build-up to Steve revealing to everyone that she was Bonnie Lockhart.

I really liked the Jen/Eric scenes. I don't want Jen involved with a man though that is in love with another woman, she deserves better than that. Now if they take things really slow ... maybe.

Man they're really going full steam ahead with showing a more tender, caring side of Kate ... I don't know if my system can handle that. LOL!

Sami acted like Sami today. Hope, totally unprofessional losing your gun to an amateur like Sami! Sigh. Rolf hasn't changed a bit!

I don't mind that Victor told everyone offscreen. If this were a different story with different characters, I'd really like how last week played out with us being pretty sure they were all in on it, but not 100% positive.

Sami has been on every day since she returned, which doesn't thrill me, but it also hasn't been as bad as I expected. I don't think she dominates her episodes. I don't like that she's currently the only one consistently in the story now, but I think that will change this week. It was a bad decision for last week, though, since she hadn't been in it until then. I think that's a big part of what killed the momentum.

Fair enough. I thought the reveal was a bit sloppy. Although Victor, Brady and Justin played the scenes well.

I'm just never here for Sami chewing every scene. Or for Kate suddenly being all Team Sami. I suppose it is understandable for this particular story...But I feel like every character other than the Victor/Bonnie crew has been talking about Sami even when she's not on screen. It's something I dreaded when her return was confirmed. I hope as the story moves along it will get better. I'm just bummed because I was really looking forward to Rolf and I was let down.

Oh I totally agree about Sami/Kate. It’s a little difficult with Sami for me right now because I thought yesterday was the most in character she’s been....but I hate that character lol.

Hahaha Same. All that was missing from the "total Sami package" yesterday was a snotty, ugly cry. (Which we got the other day w/Marlena lol)

ICAM about GV/Eric. I just never like this guy.he was bad on GH and he’s bad on DAYS. I really wished I had seen Jensen playing this role instead. Maybe I could tolerate Eric more. I just don’t find GV appealing at all. He was simply awful yesterday. He comes off as a pansyass when he plays angry. Done with his weeping all the time.
