What? Those stories are known for being atrocious partly because of their non existent acting abilities. They all had multiple chances to showcase some semblance of good acting even if the storyline wasn't good. They all proved themselves sub par. Them being let go for "storyline reasons" is more proof that they are failures. Four of them are legacy characters from a writing standpoint they have way more than enough tie ins on canvas. Yet both the characters and the actors portraying them failed to resonate with the writers which is why they decided they didn't want them and the fanbase that couldn't care less. We see this all the time they they made zero impact and were therefore easy to dispose off. |

I LOVE True O'Brien...they need to bring her back for good....there was something really honest about her character & the way she portrayed her....she is unique....I loved how she had an awkwardness. |

I hope she returns to give her angelic blessing to JJ to move on and be happy with her mother, Eve. |

They were atrocious because they were damaging and poorly written and the kind of things characters often can't recover from. The sort of writing that nearly destroyed Hope, a beloved character played by a popular actress. It's no wonder that new characters played by beginners needed to be rested after that. |

By that logic no actor is at fault for a poorly received character just blame it all on the writing. Not that I am arguing that the writing wasn't bad because it was showing yet another reason they were flops. The reality is their performances were just as bad as the writing for them. You can't blame bad writing for these guys lacking any range in their acting capacity. At some point in every single one of their story lines they had a choice to impress and didn't. You pointing out that they were "beginners" makes it clear just how amateur their performances were. And "rested" is another word for them being liabilities in this situation. |
