Good week for B&B GH and DOOL Not so bad for Y&R after all .... even tough I think it deserves better with the new writing By the way I keep saying I'd love to have the complete picture with live 7+ ratiings. last year Y&R lost very much but it was renew for 3 years so something is missing |

It is. It's also the second most-watched "week" on 2017 (first week of 2017 had 2,391,000 viewers). |

It's still happening slower than I would have liked, but it's happening. I want them to top 2.5 million by the end of the year. Then I'll feel as though the show might be "safe". |

It still amazes me how Days absolutely cratered after the start of 2016. And then I recall the stories and I remember why: Chase raping Ciara, Hope shooting Stefano, John/Yo Ling, just to name a few. God the show was a disorganized mess, and wasted all of the built-up potential that had been created over the previous 4 months for the show's 50th anniversary. I just hope RC can be consistent in his ability to write well. Even if it's not always great (and it hasn't been), just don't be flat-out bad lol. |

I'm really happy that DAYS is getting results even if its slow. I've been enjoying all the stories they've had on lately. |

I thought they be a lot better than this but these are not to bad considering how the awful was doing a few months back. The key is keeping these viewers and how the show does after Ali leaves that will tell if this RC guy is any good or not. |

DAYS overtook B&B in the Demos 18-49, and is now at number #3! Great! : ) And of course, this week * Kristen * Returned, and was Eileen Davidson's Tour De Force Week!!! She does bring in the ratings, every time! :P Even though GH is awful and I think it should be cancelled, I am tickled that it overtook Y&R. It has been a long time coming for that show, and a shakeup should happen. Edited by Yoryla, Dec 10 2017, 02:02 PM.

Wednesday - Will's first day back in Salem - was also Days' fourth-highest day of the year so far. I guess the upcoming holiday helped, but it is nevertheless encouraging ratings-wise. Tuesday - the showdown with Susan, and Will deciding to come home, plus Kristen! - was the fourth-highest Tuesday of the year. In my opinion, there has been some damn good stuff (and of course multiple returns!) in the two weeks following this one, so I for one am hopeful for further rises. I am also very happy to see Toups has returned to using the correct year-to-year statistics in this week's ratings post. It makes our graphs look wrong when he uses the wrong statistic! All the year-to-years for last week should have been higher. Edited by Stephen Steps Out, Dec 10 2017, 05:39 PM.
