Yay for Marci, Chandler, Greg, Lucas and Casey being nominated! I'm also happy for JR, SSH and ORK, just for the fact that they're DAYS stars. I don't think any of them actually deserved a nomination. I think both JR and SSH over-acted the hell out of their material last year. To the point where it was embarrassing at times. But I digress. ORK did nothing to impress me either.

Excited to see who actually wins those Emmys. A nomination doesn't mean much these days and there are some really bad actors on this list IMO. |

Has an actor won all three acting categories? I know Heather Tom won all three for actress. The only person I can think of possibly doing it would be Jonathan Jackson, but I don't know if he ever won Lead. If Chandler can nab Supporting Actor this year, hopefully he can get Lead Actor in the future.

Last year I believe Scott Clifton did it, when he won Lead Actor. |

Scott Clifton won the 3 categories. Not sure if he's the only one. |

Ah! Okay, I forgot all about him being someone who would've done it. JJ was the only one popping into my head. |

Scott Clifton has right? Younger, Supporting, and Lead. Surprised he wasn't nominated this year. Also no Sharon Case or Gina Tognoni who are excellent. I thought Eric Martsolf was deserving as well. |

GH really raked in the Lead noms this year. I wonder if that'll hurt their chances -- especially in Lead Actress. I can see Chandler and Casey taking it home for Days this year. Chandler had some good stuff, and he's an Emmy darling. Casey got a standalone episode -- that's pretty unheard of for the younger actors these days. |

DAYS has a real chance to win in Lead Actor, Supporting Actor and Younger Actor. I want to say Susan Hayes is competitive, she is well liked, has cross-network support and is a fucking legend who is Emmy-less. Edited by Mitchapalooza, Mar 21 2018, 01:47 PM.

Jonathan never won Lead. Though if he had stayed in daytime I bet he could have done it by now. |

Unless we see the biggest upset in history, I don't think Casey should have a single problem getting the statue. The Younger Actor category is very weak. The only one I could see giving him a run for his money would be Lucas. I think Lucas is as good of an actor and well deserving. I just think Casey had better material. |

It's so odd to see Chandler and Camryn's names in anything but Younger Actor/Actress. We all have to grow up some time. :( |

Do you watch the other soaps? Rome Flynn is definitely in the running and I think much better than Casey. Sharon Case should have taken Marci’s place, also how did Scott Clifton not get a nomination? |
