Shawn Christian was known as Mike Kasnoff on the long-running soap opera As the World Turns, in which he was nominated for a Soap Opera Digest Award for Hottest Male Star. Auto mechanic Mike was distinctly known for his relationship with the wealthy Rosanna Cabot, as well as with Rosanna’s half sister, Carly Tenney. He previously served time for robbery and committed several crimes like hiding away rubies given to him by a mysterious woman named Maya Gold.

After his three-year stint on As the World Turns, he lingered on the television circuit, landing recurring roles on television series. He portrayed the role of Quinn Ragowski on Pacific Palisades, Josh on Charmed, Dr. Lawrence Brandon on Pensacola: Wings of Gold, Adam Flynn on Crossing Jordan, Wade Brixton on Birds of Prey, Tim Bauer on Boston Legal, Dr. Fisher on Runway, and Dr. Derek Stephenson on Las Vegas. He was also cast on Summerland, appearing on 26 episodes as the character Johnny Durant. Simultaneously, he worked in movies like Beautiful, 50 Ways to Leave Your Lover, and For Your Consideration. His most recent TV appearance was in the episode of Ghost Whisperer entitled “The Cradle will Rock” where he played Wyatt Jenkins.

At present, Christian has been slated to work in the movie Killer Moves, in which he will play the role of Ken. Directed by Cate Caplin, the plot is about a mystery thriller featuring a romantic cop with a hidden twist. Slated for release this year, the said film also stars Lauren German as Abby, Susan Blakely as Abby’s mother, Lisa Rotondi as Pam, Roberto Sanchez as Raul Suarez, and Eric Lange as Allen.

#1 Fan of Daytime Psychos!

I was a big fan of the short-lived television series "Birds of Prey" and enjoyed his run in that. It was a great show. I wish WB had given it more of a chance.
