Linked RUN'S GIRL GETS SOAP VANESSA SIMMONS SEES THE 'LIGHT' August 23, 2007 -- VANESSA Simmons, daughter of Joseph "Reverend Run" Simmons and one of the stars of his MTV reality series, "Run's House," started this week as a regular on "Guiding Light." The leggy 23-year-old is a fashion model who has been trying to break into acting for a while. On the soap, she plays Lola, a young woman drawn to Remy Boudreau (Lawrence Saint-Victor). Last June, fans of the MTV show saw her trying out for the soap - though no one knew at the time if she had made it. She has also helped launch a line of shoes, Pastry, under her father's athletic shoe line. |
