I'm addicted to this NS on Soap Net. My question does it qualify for any Emmy nominations? After seeing last week's episode 'Mother's Day' I think Kimberly McCullough should be handed an Emmy right now. OMGosh, I've still got goosebumps. Nearly everyone is doing a great job on NS. Bradford Anderson is showing a side of Spinelli that we don't see on GH. And I have to say this: Steve Burton is God! I'm just enjoying NS soooo much. I know everyone doesn't get to see it. But I thought I'd put the question out to see if anyone knows. |

Yes, they will. When SON interviewed Brian Frons during FCW, he said that the reason Night Shift first aired in the morning was to qualify it for an Emmy. |

It doesn't have a chance at the big dramatic categories at the Daytime Emmy's, because to be nominated for those, a serial must be an ongoing production, which Night Shift isn't. Night Shift has a beginning of a season and an ending, which the network daytime soaps don't have. The only chance of an Emmy Night Shift has is in the category of Outstanding Special Class Series. However, that goes to the show alone and I don't think there's categories for the performers in such classified shows. |

Ok, first, ::swoon:: LOVE your avi!! Although he'll always be Caleb for me, LoL And second, I'm so addicticed to NS as well. I'd sure love for them to get some recog for this. This latest eppy, Mother's Day, was the second in a row that had me in tears!! Some fantastic performances by numerous characters/actors. |

Mateo, I'm a huge fan of Michael since I first saw him as Tanner Scofield on Days. But you are right, PC did it for me. Whether he's a good guy, a bad guy, a priest or a vampire I adore him any way. Plus who was hotter than Caleb and Olivia? NS started out with a bang. The past few episodes were mainly setting up what's to come. Last week's ep just knocked me out. I wasn't a big fan of 'Scrubs' until I started watching NS. Kimberly really impressed me last week. That girl just rocked in 'Mother's Day.' I was feeling tentative at best knowing Jason was going to perform the C section in the elevator, especially with Spinelli by his side. But damn, it worked for me. Everyone is doing a great job. It's believable and not 'soapy.' This week on NS we'll find out who has been sabotaging the ER. And there's a new mob war coming up on GH. I can't wait. |

I think they have to air more then one episode in the daytime for it to count and the only one was the first episode so that would be the only ep eligible. Unless I missed something but I don't think any other ep has been aired during the daytime eligible time slot. |
