See, I disagree. I think "Days" needed to kill off such a huge character to show that they mean business and you better watch because stuff does happen. But I also think Drake coming back as a different character (a dream story of mine and something I've written about numerous times on this very board), is intriguing and VERY soapy. Although I hope they go with my idea, Jonah Everest. The Everest makes sense because it suggests he really could be John under an easy, assumed identity as dead people for"ever" rest in peace. And Jonah is "John" jumbled up with an "A." Don't like the idea of his having a family. Make him a playboy bachelor who takes advantage of Marlena who thinks he's John. |

The only way I'd want to see Drake back is as someone new, otherwise he can stay dead forever. |

I wanted John to stay dead. This I actually like the sound of. I'm guessing he will shock Marlena because he will resemble John very much?! DAYS definitely doesn't need more characters, but I find one thing that show is really missing is family-life. Like, families with children and whatnot. Theres Bo and Hope, but aside from them, all the others are just couples, with grown up children. |

From the same source: -Victor reveals that he was responsible for Steve's coffin snatch all those years ago. What's more, he switched Stephanie as a baby and the one they know as Stephanie is really Justin's long lost daughter, Steve and Kayla's neice. -Justin returns to meet his daughter and siblings become enemies when Adrienne and Steve are forced into a tug-of-war over who has parental rights to Stephanie. -Bo arrests his father for his part in Steve's disapearance and Stephanie's kidnapping. The Bradys need to know where the real Stephanie is and how to find her. Also, why did he do it? And why did he wait until now to reveal the truth? -Caroline is unable to get through to Victor in their family's time of need. However, all this distraction has allowed Stephano to sneak out of the country undetected. Where has he gone? -The cops discover that the car who hit John was registered to Max's garage. Is Max the hit and run driver? He insists he's being framed but this latest twist pulls the Bradys further apart. -Lucas is determined to be the babies' father putting to rest any speculation that they have different daddies. -Despite being married to a Brady (Sami), EJ grows increasingly unsatisfied with his loveless marriage. EJ encounters a college-aged young woman named Amber and beds her. Too bad for him the condom broke. Amber comes back a few weeks later to inform the dad-to-be that she's keeping the baby. -While keeping a strong exterior, Marlena is breaking down inside. Everyone is surprised when she comes to Victor's aid and posts bail for the Brady's latest number one enemy. Against everyone's opinion, Marlena has Victor move into the penthouse. What is going on inside her head? -Stephano reappears inside a locked cage, who is holding him hostage? Viewers will be shocked to learn that Hope has taken it upon herself to intern the pheonix once and for all. Shawn-D discovers this and can't believe the turn his mother has taken. How did she find this place? How could she become a criminal? And what will this all mean for Shawn's chances at becoming a cop if he's turn in this is revealed? -Kayla goes to Marlena and causes a public feud for her role in pertecting Victor. However, back at the penthouse Kayla shows up and we reveal that Marlena and Kayla are in cohots, working together with Hope, to bring down the Brady enemies. Victor is being held in Marlena's home, drugged. The area where Hope is holding Stephano was the same place where Steve was captured and programed after he was kidnapped in the 80s. How do Stephano and Victor relate to each other in all this madness? Why are Hope, Marlena and Kayla working together on such an elaborate plot? Well, it is revealed that their motives are to bring down the pawn enterprise once and for all by cutting off the serpants' head. We learn how Victor and Stephano worked together all these years and whats more, there are more pawns out there. Where are they? Who are they? All will be revealed in the epic story: search for the missing pawns. -Deep down Marlena is seeking closure for John to finally figure out who he really is and fill in the gaps. This story will be extremely emotional for Marlena as she uses it to move on. But is she prepared to find out what John's past was truly about? -Bo and Steve discover the true identity of Steve and Kayla's daughter is Amber, who is pregnant with EJ's baby. Without knowing it, EJ fufilled his grand father's wishes and impregnated a Brady woman. -Sami and Lucas work to clear Max's name. -The real driver is revealed: Roman. But with Roman leading the charge to place all evidence on Max, is it too late for the young Brady? Max is sentenced to death for "killing" John. -The dominos begin to fall on Roman when a groggy Victor lets slip that Roman is a plant, and not a real Brady. Before the woman can get more info there is a fire in the penthouse building and they have to escape. When the dust is cleared, Victor is gone, thanks to Roman's help. -Shawn-D nearly gets killed when Roman shows up to free Stephano. With Shawn-D in a coma, Belle thinks she's lost all the men in her life. -Roman, Victor and Stephano work to outsmart Kayla, Hope and Marlena in the search for the remaining pawns. -Steve is reunited with his long lost daughter. -Frankie returns in Max's final hours. He and Bo work to find Roman when it begins to show that their brother, or the man they thought was their brother, really killed John. Will they find him in time to save Max? -Marlena comes face to face with another Pawn, a priest with no past who goes by the name Father Edwin. Edwynn and Marlena strike up a familiar set of emotions and she and him move on together in their investigation into his past. Edwin is played by soap legend Tom Eplin. -Roman and Bo struggle atop a cliff and Roman is killed. Bo has mixed feelings about killing his the man who he thought was his brother for so many years. But John's killing has been vindicated. The consequences, however, will be Max's death. -At midnight, Max is killed by the State despite the Brady's finally coming around to try and save him. What happens next? With John, fakeRoman and Max all dead, how can the Brady's survive? Shawn-D is in critical condition. With Hope, Kayla and Marlena over the deep-end, how will they be brought back to the brink of reality? Newcomers Amber and Edwin begin to make their lives in Salem but their pasts are a mystery, thanks to Victor and Stephano. Indeed, all of these lives have been fundamentally altered by the manipulations and interference of the Vendetta. So much has been cost already, and this is only just the beginning. |

haha. These "spoilers" illustrate an umbrella plot that gives the Bradys back their edge but in the end still costs their family a tremendous amount. What I like about these is it gives Steve and Kayla worthwhile things to deal with, explores Steve's past, connects Victor and Stephano in the pawn story, leaves open the return of the real Roman, empowers Marlena to not only advenge John's murder but to also put his life to rest by reclaiming his past. In a nice twist, she is confronted with another pawn (a priest) with no memory and can lead into interesting story directions. Hope is a take no BS warrior and all of their actions have serious consequences, that continue to raise the stakes of the vendetta. IMO, an ideal formula for a true umbrella storyline. |

I'm not even going to bother to quote that second load of bull "from the same source." Sounds like fan fic. Victor switching Stephanie with Justin's daughter? Oh please, why would he do that when we know how Victor is about blood ties? The rest of it is too lame to even comment. |

Well I have to admit those "spoilers" certainly included EVERYONE and a mass of SL options :P And Oh yeah... I liked the one about Roman being the one that killed John and that he's NOT the real Roman ;) |

Of course it is fanfiction. Just like the original posters was. That was the hook "from the same source". And of course, to be taken in good humour. You're probably not used to these posts else you'd have known from the first word. Relax  |

The whole Stephanie being switched as a baby sounds like a lame excuse to make Max and Stephanie plausible without going with the incest factor. LAME! |

Obviously, why else would such a plot enter the zany brain of this zany guy? Thought it was obvious that none of these were to be taken seriously. Recall that this type of reply is posted nearly every single time a illegitmate 'rumour' is posted. Seems with a name change people lose their senses of good humour. Relax  |

This would be an idiotic, stupid idea. Why kill John off and bring back Hogestyn and a new role along with 2 newbies??!!?? Sounds crazy to me. |

Um...I kind of see most of that as plausible, except for things like Sami and Lucas interacting with Max in his storyline. |
