alice sooo annoyd me with her hopeless psuhing. BO & Billie! RKK's Bo & Lisa Rinnas Billie were so amazing together. fave daytime scene ever is when even tho Bo picks Billie over Hopeless she leaves him because she knows theres something there and also for Shawn D ... to bad the writers tried to ruin her with that gawd awful recast. but Julie Pinson is in the role now and has made her an amazing char once again, if only she could get a storyline.. |

I liked the ending. What I realized is that I didn't like Robert Kelker Kelly as Bo at all. I seem to remember him transitioning into the role very well back then. Seeing him last night, he came off as being a little silly, that's not Bo (the passionate Bo) PR portrays. Other than that it was fun to watch. I hope SoapNet would re-run some of the SSK episodes next year. |

Oh, no doubt they chose the most outrageous. I know the story was a love story and it did have it's moments of creepy and gothic brilliance but, overall, the more I see this the more I realize how poorly written it was overall. Some stuff was asking too much of the audience like the fact that John was able to carry Marlena's lifeless body out of the hospital morgue. There is no way a hospital would let that happen. JER did this very same thing during the SSK story when Marlena "died" and John carried her away. I think the first time around or the first few times you view this you are so amazed by it because it's original and outrageous. That helps to cover up how truly silly and stupid most of the things that occurred actually were. Yes, it was entertaining but it also contributed to Days losing credibility and also led to the rest of the daytime trying to play copycat, helping to aid in the downfall of the genre. I wish they would show Aremid and Maison Blanche because those were much better written and didn't rely on outrageousness and shock and awe storytelling to entertain the audience. They were grounded and involved emotion, interactions, and good solid soap drama with a gothic twist. Those stories, to me, were JER's best. The Kristen goes evil saga ranks up there too except when Susan became way too out there but, other then that, that story ranks highly all these years later with me too. |

the worst of jer is better than the best of hogie..wait ..there is no best of hogie and there never will be. you could give this hack clark gable and vivien leigh ( which in james scott and alison sweeney he had a close second) and he would make us want to shoot the both of them! |
