Sneak Peeks: Lucky hauls Johnny in for questioning. Jerry calls Alexis on her feelings. Kate demands Sonny respect her boundaries. Sam wants Lucky to move in. Georgie heads to the park after receiving a text message. Trevor sets a trap for Johnny and Lulu. Can't Miss: Wed, Dec. 12 - Spinelli talks Jason out of killing Trevor. Next Week: The killer strikes again. Sonny wants to finish off Johnny. Jason and Elizabeth can't stay apart. Robin turns to Patrick. The Buzz: A small blurb about Bradford Anderson. Josh Duhon says that offscreen Brad is this kind of quirky guy but he's always got a lot of girls with him, whether he's off the show or at the studio going to lunch. He says he told him that he "ain't fooling me for a minute, man. You're smooth." He says that he loves Brad, that he's a funny guy and that Spinelli is the silent assassin just like Bradford. He loves working with him. Winners & Losers: Winners: Jerry - His MetroCourt takeover was way cooler than mad Anthony's ball. Losers: Lucky - First Jake and then Emily's death. He's the last to know everything. Revolving Door: Update: Lindze Letherman is out next week when Georgie becomes a victim to the TMK. She joined GH in 2002. Felicia returns soon after to mourn Georgie's death. "I'm so sad to hear about Lindze's departure. That's too bad. But to be a part of the canvas again is exciting," KW told SOW last week. "There's a lot to play here." Monica Botches Luke's Surgery: Jane Elliot says that Tracy doesn't want Monica doing the surgery because she doesn't think she's capable because she hasn't deal with her grief over Emily. She feels Monica only wants to do the surgery as a distraction. Luke finally goes under the knife after a lot of prodding by his family. Lucky and Lulu both talk to him. "For days and days, people are trying to convince him" according to JE, including Tracy, who doesn't want to lose her husband. JE says some of it is about Luke and some of it is about Tracy. Some of it's about the fact that she really loves this man. Tracy would like to see Luke care enough about her to want to get better. Luke takes a turn for the worse and his surgery is scheduled quickly wherein Monica informs Tracy she'll be performing it. Tracy is against it and she tells Monica that she shouldn't do it. Tracy tries to swap surgeons but Dr. Julian is unreachable. The surgery proceeds with Monica performing it as Tracy waits anxiously, worried something could go wrong. And it does. Monica freeze when she has visions of Emily assisting her. Luke's heart begins to fail and Monica is forced to leave the OR. Leo rushes in to try and save Luke. In the meanwhile, Monica, feeling guilty, addresses Luke's family. She comes out to and says 'I'm so sorry' and that's the cliffhanger according to JE. The audience will be left to wonder whether Luke is alive or dead. Tracy turns to stone. "She's angry, she's terrified. She's mad Monica wouldn't listen to her, that once again she got ignored and people didn't take her seriously. Monica tries to explain and apologize but all Tracy says is 'Don't talk to me' - and walks away." A Closer Look: Johnny Interview with BB. SOW asks him if he sees Johnny as the Michael Corleone of the Zacchara family. He says he absolutely does, that Johnny didn't see his destiny coming to him as soon as it did and when it does, he has to ask himself if that's what he wants. Once you make that choice, after the struggle, you have to become that person whether it's something you want to do or not. That's what Michael Corleone did, he became a ruthless guy because he had no choice. There's no turning back once you've made up your mind. SOW notes that this week Trevor sets a deadly plan in motion and Lulu and Johnny fall right into it. They wonder if Trevor is trying to off Johnny. BB says that Trevor isn't. Because if he did, he'd no longer have a curtain to hide behind. Trevor is just trying to ruffle Johnny and Lulu's feathers. Trevor wants Johnny to be the mob boss and he'll pull his strings from behind the scenes but Johnny isn't up for that. He is his own man. The only thing this does is make Johnny more determined not to give in to Trevor. SOW asks what it's like to be the youngster in the mix of Mo, SBu and SM. BB says he learns from watching all of them and their discipline, how they show up prepared and the choices they make. SOW asks what his thoughts are on the Logan/Lulu/Johnny triangle. BB says there's a lot of conflict, that there are reasons that Lulu should be with Logan and reasons she should be with Johnny. It's a great struggle for her and it's been fun to watch her work it out. SOW wonders if Johnny is a better choice for Lulu than Logan. BB says "That's an interesting question from several perspectives. One, Johnny doesn't think Lulu should be with him, because he's too dangerous for her. In my opinion, I don't know if Lulu should be with Johnny. The more interesting choice is probably Johnny, but the safer choice is Logan." SOW asks him if he enjoyed the scenes where Johnny and Lulu bonded over their parents mental problems. BB say he did and that Johnny and Lulu are kindred spirits. They both came from rough backgrounds and both have issues with their parents. "They're two people who know what the right things to do are, but don't necessarily do them." SOW wants to know how JMB, JD and BB get along. He says very well, they talk it out before every scene and joke around between takes and go to lunch together. SOW asks if he and Josh ever joke around about fighting over the same girl. BB says not really, you're more likely to find them playing video games in one another's dressing rooms. As far as joking about the characters, they never do that. SOW wonders if BB is opposite of out-there Johnny. BB says he doesn't have a halo over his head 24 hours a day but he's definitely different from Johnny. He is hardly as volatile or violent. He considers himself a good guy but there may be conflicting opinions, depending on who you ask! http://soapzone.com/boards/read.php/gh/main/9411678 |

But to be a part of the canvas again is exciting," KW told SOW last week. "There's a lot to play here." GH actors have been striking with the writers, right? Because according to a Y&R actor who goes unnamed it's in their contracts that they're not allowed to strike with them. The List Oh, Bury Me Not...? Poor dead Emily had to lie around for days while the ball storyline wrapped up, with only her nutty fiance Nikolas to watch the body. Winners Jerry - His MetroCourt takeover was way cooler than mad Anthony's ball. Losers Lucky - First Jake and then Emily's death. He's the last to know everything. Buzz A small blurb about Bradford Anderson. Blind Item This popular vet has been hitting the bottle a little more than usual lately. Co-stars and loved ones are worried and, according to done story making the rounds, so are this person's fans. Applause, Applause BH gets it for her reaction to Emily's death. "In a few short yet heartfelt scenes, Herbst guided Elizabeth through denial, grief, and finally acceptance of her friend's demise. Though delicately understated, Herbst's performance was still a powerful depiction of complete heartbreak." Public Opinion I was expecting the worst and got the best. I've hated the Liz/Jason/Lucky/Sam baby crap on GH that we've had to endure for way too long. I've hated the propping up of Jason and Liz at the expense of Lucky and Sam, but today renewed my faith in GH. Lucky and Sam got the dialogue and said everything I needed them to say. Thank you, writers, for knocking Jason and Liz off their pedestals for at least a day and for letting Lucky and Sam have the last word. I hope Lucky and Sam can move on from these two self-righteous, judgmental morons. Let Jason and Liz implode and please let Lucky and Sam thrive without them. - Darlene Poplawski, Lynn, MA Mail Call Did poor Emily have to die? Viewers' Voice 56% feel the B&W ball was a big, old mess. 44% feel it was a huge success. http://soapzone.com/boards/read.php/gh/main/9411678 |
