2. DAMAGES (FX NETWORKS)
3. GREY’S ANATOMY (ABC)
4. HOUSE (FOX)
5. MAD MEN (AMC)
6. THE TUDORS (SHOWTIME)
-----Why The Tudors? I saw the show and it was a sexy show, but not one of the best on tv..That spot should have been for Dexter or Brothers and Sisters..

I'm upset Ugly Betty didn't get nominated for Best Comedy. And Vanessa Williams should of been nominated as well.

Most of these noms suck, IMO.

I am really happy that Michael C. Hall, Sally Field, Christina Applegate and Rachel Griffiths all got noms, though. All four of them really deserved it.

I know Kenny, thats one of the biggest surprises for me....I don't understand how The Tudors and Californication get best show nods over Dexter...I'm just glad Michael C. Hall got a nomination..He better win..

Thanks to mods for editing my first post... for some reason I couldn't do it... my tags won't work for me...

Since most of noms are on HBO, I don't know many of those shows... but I'm glad for Heigle, Grey's, House, Laurie, Applegate... :)

Californication is an awesome show.

With the sub-par season Ugly Betty is having, I'm not too disappointed to see them out. The only one who truly deserves a slot is Vanessa Williams, she's brilliant -"you're wearing plastic."

Michael C. Hall should take this, after just catching up on a S1 marathon of Dexter, I'm in love.

No Housewives love? It's kinda odd.

KATHERINE HEIGL AGAIN?

And Edie Falco, you're one brilliant lady but you are definitely undeserving of that slot. Her co-star James should be in there if anyone from the Sopranos deserved to get in.

BEST TELEVISION SERIES – DRAMA

DH (aside from Felicity Huffman) really hasn't gotten much love as far as awards go since Season 2, which sucks because the show has improved times like a billion since then.

Well it was just announced that the Golden Globes will be cancelled all together..I guess the Hollywood Foreign Press will just announce the winners to the media...Damm i really wanted to see this, but it would have been lame with no presenters or actors to accept the awards..

GET EM STEPH!!

Kev, apparently the Golden Globes will be publicized in a different format.

link

Regardless, this sucks. I support the writers but when it starts punishing people who deserve recognition for their work, that is too much for me to accept.

I have been hearing that George Clooney pushed for the SAG to discourage going to the ceremony. If that is true, then that is appalling IMO.

This sucks, but I understand.

I read that not one of the 70 nominees were willing to cross the picket line so I guess they couldn't have had a show anyway

C'mon studios give them the damn 2.5 cent raise so we can get some new shows before May!!!!
