OMG!! I love him! ATWT shame on you! DAMN HACK WRITERS! This is not good for ATWT because if they have pay cuts, they are gonna ask VETS to have a pay cut and they are gonna leave too. :( |

They had better watch if they ask Helen Wagner or Eileen Fulton for a pay cut. Both have left the show before over different things - particularly story reductions. I could very well see both of them walking if they are further kicked in the shins by this too. |

I'm pretty sure the vets have already been given pay cuts, their guarantees must be down to nothing. How many appearances do Eileen and Helen make in a year? 20? 30? Either way, it amounts to a reduction of salary. I can't really see Helen walking...there's a huge difference in leaving a show in your 50's and in your 80's. Eileen obviously isn't going anywhere either, she really hasn't had a significant story in the past ten years. |

According to the actor's union they can't be down to too much. Even with a pay cut they are guaranteed to make so much due to the number of years they are on the show. They can't even agree to take less. Most standard contracts require they get paid 4 episodes per month. That is the least a contract performer can make. So they get paid for at least 48 episodes a year whether they are in them or not. |

They need to ask Goutman and Passanante to take a pay cut (or better fire them), because none of them are doing their job. |

I'd prefer the latter, myself. The best thing that could be done for ATWT would be to get rid of Passanante. |

Yeah, Really!!! Fire Jean Passanante!!! PGP and CBS would better off going down to the props department at ATWT and digging out Penny's old teddy bear and putting him next to one of Irna's old typewriters. God knows that ole snuggle toy would be a better writer than Passanante!!!!! |

As a post script...when I actually read SOW today, they had conflicting reports from sources. One set said Grayson was asked to take a pay cut, the other said he just wanted out. |
