It's because of stuff like this that I don't consider Annie to be a villain. She was a good person that was just plain screwed up, LoL. |

That was shortly before Annie became a psycho and was just a pill popping ex-nurse. I think this was late 96, by early 97 she had lost her mind (though there were signs before of her mental instability). It's too bad youtube doesn't have Annie's now CLASSIC breakdown on the witness stand from 1997. I'd kill to have that on tape!!! Anyway, here's another good scene, where Reva stops Annie's wedding to Alan. Annie rocked so much in this clip, especially when she tells Reva, "You think you've WON?!?!? You'll NEVER BEAT ME REVA, YOU'll NEVER BEAT ME REVA!!!!" I loved the ending where Frank's dragging her out in cuffs and Annie tells everyone, "Thank you all for coming!" LOL! She was clearly nuts and Watros' delivery was priceless. I also LOVED the look Cynthia and Kim gave to one another as Annie was dragged out as well - cold as ice! Here it is: |

I think I actually have those scenes of Annie on the witness stand on my computer. I'll try and fix them so I can upload them to YouTube. |

Oh Mason, we'd be forever thankful if you would upload those scenes for us to enjoy!!! I know CBS listed it as one of GL's most memorable moments this year on GL's 70th Anniversary innertube site, but they only showed a 30 second clip of it. They didn't even show Annie confessing her deeds! They just shows her collapsing in court. Reva's trial for push Annie down the stairs and killing her already dead fetus is perhaps the greatest moment on GL from the past 10 years. Annie's confession single-handedly won Cynthia Watros that Emmy in 1998. |
