I'm still in shock that Julie Christie didn't win. Horray for Tilda Swinton though! |

Nope. It was pretty obvious that Daniel Day-Lewis was going to. I thought Juno might beat out No Country For Old Men in Best Picture, but nope. Didn't happen. |

John Stewart had a few funny moments..Loved him and the young girl playing Wii..but this was the most boring Oscars show i've seen in years..I predict the ratings are going to be lower than normal, with Juno being the highest rated best picture nom.. Interesting that out of all the big nominees, each film got at least 1 award..Juno- original screenplay, Atonement- original score, Michael Clayton- best supporting actress, There Will Be Blood- Best Actor and Cinematography, and No Country For Old Men- best supporting actress, adapted screenplay, director, and best picture.. |

I was so pissed at that, especially when they had the time to play some Speilberg clipfest right after cutting her off! |

Sheesh, that was the longest and most boring show....I wouldn't have been watching it if it weren't for the boyfriend. Tilda Swinton, I got two words for you honey....MAKE-UP!! I don't give a flying fig how talented she is, the bitch's limo had to have driven by a few Rite-Aids or a MAC store, it takes five minutes to put your face on, goddamn!! Helen Mirren was the best dressed, she is fuckin' fabulous for her age...her hair, makeup (Tilda, not a foreign word here!), jewelry and gown, flawless!! Didn't see any of the movies to care who won or what. Finally.....the 'In Memoriam' pissed me off....now, some of the people on there barely got a clap (Calvin Lockhart, Roscoe Lee Browne, etc.), but Heath Ledger gets the most applause?! :shame: |

Best part of the night was on the red carpet. Watching Gary Busey (sp?) attacking Ryan Seacrest & Jennifer Garner  |

Seacrest was interviewing Jennifer Garner and Laura Linney. Suddenly Busey came in on Garner's side and was trying to grab her hand to shake it. Busey was saying 'God bless you' then it seemed he leaned in and tried to kiss Garner. She was extremely nervous. For some moments no one knew who Busey was. Seacrest told Garner, "don't worry we have people' meaning she was protected. Seacrest was dumbfounded asking Garner where Ben [Affleck] was. She said she wished he was with her at that moment. Later, Busey said he was just trying to be friendly. (That's how I remember it.) At least in my opinion it wasn't as bad as Issac Mizrahi touching Scarlett Johansson's breast a couple of years ago. :) |
