Ugly Betty, eat your heart out: Justin Timberlake is bringing a hit comedy series to the small screens of America — from Peru.

My Problem With Women centers on Jose, a 30ish bachelor who starts seeing a therapist to try and get to the bottom of why his romantic relationships always head down the drain, reports Reuters.

It’s a branching out for the “SexyBack” singer, who recently appeared alongside Jeff Bridges to shoot the baseball movie The Open Road in rural Louisiana.

But his latest venture will see the performer, 27, remaining behind the camera, as an executive producer.

The project, which has received a script commitment from NBC, is based on the Peruvian show Mi Problema con las Mujeres.

I hate this adapting a Latin American show into a another country's show...

Right now, Croatia has 3 major TV networks.. and all three have some version of Ugly Betty.

HRT has US version.
RTL has Croatian version.
NOVA TV has Mexican version.

If this Justin Timberlake show is a success as well, I can see US/Cro/Mexican version on all three networks in Croatia again.. which sucks...

How bout some creativity, people?!

Thanks, Rhi!

If NBC is smart they will heavily advertise Justin Timberlake's presence with the the show and hopefully his fans will tune in to support him..NBC is in dire need of some hits next year..

My money is on it tanking (just like 97% of everything else on that network).

Live. Love. Laugh. ♥

^ I don't so! As Kev said, his fans will check it out once at the very least just for him. I know I will and I'm not even a huge fan

I'm so sick of this, when a celebrity is attached to the show and doesn't appear. I remember J.Lo's "Dancelife" I was PO'd..she made one little appearance, big whoop.

I dunno. I didn't realize that dick in a box = EP of a new comedy, lol.

Wow, for someone so media-savvy, I've NEVER heard of that show! :o

Really? It was on MTV last year. It was Jennifer Lopez presents: Dancelife. It followed the lives of 8 dancers trying to make it, going to auditions, etc.

:o

That's nice, though, that she did something for the community, and remembered where SHE came from.
