Daytime Emmy Nominations; "The View" will broadcast on April 30th

The chat show will broadcast nominations for the Daytime Emmys. The winners will be announced 8 to 11 p.m. June 20 on ABC. This is the 35th anniversary for the Daytime Emmys. With "The View" spreading the news, I've got a feeling that the Barbara Walters-Whoopi Goldberg chat show will do well in the nominations. "The View" airs at 11 a.m. weekdays on WFTV-Channel 9. The nominations for daytime drama are closely followed, even if the genre's ratings are suffering. Taking part in the nominations on "The View" will be Cameron Mathison and Rebecca Budig of ABC's "All My Children," Farah Fath and John-Paul Lavoisier of ABC's "One Life to Live," Marcy Rylan of CBS' "Guiding Light," Van Hansis of CBS' "As the World Turns" and Bryan Dattilo and Alison Sweeney of NBC's "Days of Our Lives." http://blogs.orlandosentinel.com/entertain...iew-to-bro.html

I wouldnt read anything into it either, just find it intersting. everyone there is from a eastcoast soap but ali & BD. i just find it intersting as we all know frons loves his gh. i just hope that marcy rylan and kirsten storms get a nom and jen landon gets the snub she deserves for phoning her work in all year long.

DAYS 2. Y&R 3. GH	The show never said BD was off contract just that he would be off screen for about two months. He will probably be back in April (ironically enough that is the same time Nu-Mickey is showing up). The show wouldn't of sent him as a rep if he was completely off the show. Whenever ABC hosts the Emmys they have The View annouce the awards. They will probably pick up the same amount of nominations as in the past. At least they will give it some justice unlike the Early Show's five minute run through last year. The View normally dedicates the whole show after their host chat to the nominations and then talking about them with the actors and SOD writers.
