Congrats to Tony Geary, the sole General Hospital 2008 Emmy nominee and to the show for garnering nods in writing, directing and best daytime drama. [doHTML]<object width="425" height="355"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/L5Fj-2I4B5Q&hl=en"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/L5Fj-2I4B5Q&hl=en" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="355"></embed></object>[/doHTML] |

^^I actually half agree with you, if that makes sense, LoL. While TG could read me the phone book and I'd still be invested, I don't think he had some of the best material last year on GH. There were plenty of other actors and actresses that worked with much better stuff than he did and were totally shut out. How can they garner a best drama nod and only get one actor nod?!? The two go hand in hand, as far as overall quality. As for Thursday's show, I liked Wendesday better, and the only thing I really enjoyed today was the last scene where Nik said goodbye to Em. As much as I was ready for that story to end, I was still sad to see NL leave for good. That last montage scene was beautiful. |

the fact that maxie & Spinelli, whow ere ate one time the most one note characters in daytime, now are the most layerd shocks me. there scenes are like magic. they are perfection together. |

I hear ya! I'm soooo not looking forward to JC coming in and possibly ruining this..... I didn't however, care too much for their stuff today, although they performed it well. I'm just so sick of LuLu and her working for Kate. It doesn't even make since, so I hate any of those scenes with her and Maxie at Crimson, and then to bring in Spin...it was just a rehash of what we've seen for weeks now between the three of them. |

i agree. but i am hoping with the addition og Giselle, ShewLu getting mixed up more in the mob worlds we will get a better storyline. If they are gonmna rip off the devilw ears prada at least do it half as good, not 1/10th. lol however the spinmax scenes from i think it was wed were amazing. when they were at jasons and on the sofa. i do NOT want them as a coupling tho so i am kinda looking forward to jason cook. id also like them to bring serena on for spinelli and maybe do a spin/serenna/lucky triangle. |

I am just starting shows for this week (4/28-5/2). Things are just so busy that haven't had time to sit and watch the show. Thank goodness for DVR's. ;) What I like about the Spinelli/Maxie relationship is that they are really just friends. I do hope they don't go with a love relationship with them because they play the comedy well off each other. I am a JC fan and am interesting how they are going to merge his character in with Maxie. However, I don't want to simply see a Shelle reunion. Kind of going into this with low expectations and maybe I will be surprised. Just looking at the past when other soaps try to recreate chem with actors, it doesn't have the best track record. |

^ITA i also find the spixie dyanmic works in the way of moonlighting. that could that you kidna want together and sometimes almost egst there but it never quite happens. |

Yeah. Just leave them there because then I could see getting them together and it fizzles or they lose what makes them special. |

Geary rocks. I was really, really surprised that Storms didn't get a nod but I cannot tell you how glad I am that Burton and Bernhard didn't. I am beyond tired of them. I'm going to wait to see how Cook does before passing any judgement. He can be good if he gives a damn and tries and when he doesn't, he isn't. |

It might be just me but this show bores me to tears lately. The only bright spots for me are Alexis, Diane and Spinelle. |

Maxie is way too hot for Spin. I can't stand their friendship especially because it has brought Maxie into the mob crap. |

Well the same can be said that Spinelli is too smart for her. I like the two together too bad it looks like they will yet again drop something in favor of the Cook/Storms reuniting crap. |

Spin isn't that smart. He has become a doormat for the mob. That is why I need Maxie to stay away from him. |

I am not too optimistic about JC. While his character is suppose to interact with Maxie early on, he is also suppose to interact with Sonny and Claudia. Something tells me, he is just going to be anther mob doctor/Ian replacement which will suck. I don't want Maxie with anyone who has ties to the mob. The mob is a black hole of suck on this show. |

Well I have heard he will be a love interest for Maxie and that shouldn't surprise anyone. GH has done it before with a popular DAYS coupling (Steve and Kayla) and they will defintely being attempting it again. |

That's not what I said. I know he is suppose to be a love interest for Maxie but I don't want Maxie with a person who has ties with the mob. That's what I meant. I didn't say anything about them not doing Maxie and JC's character. I was looking forward to Maxie and JC's character till I heard that his first scenes will be with Sonny and Claudia. Now I just think JC will be tied to the mob which will further drag Maxie into that black hole of suck. |

I DON'T want JC with KS on GH. I couldn't stand him on Days and I don't want him with Maxie, ESPECIALLY if he is tied to the mob in some way. We all know GH will do it, but let's hope it doesn't last. |
