I love today's show. I love the Phloe scenes and the Ejami scenes. I'm not a big fan of Dr. Dan and Chelsea but I have to admit the guy is hot. I watch their scenes but I had it on mute the whole time. Enjoyed the eye candy. Can't stand Chelsea saying she loves a man she barely knows. |

Sariah, it's definitely floved! Sounds like we watched the same parts of the show today. I really enjoyed Phloe and Ejole, but my fingers got a workout ff all the Chan/Dansea. Daniel's forehead didn't really bother me, but I kept wanting to send him off to get waxed. I can't remember who said it, but I know someone commented that it seems like the writers don't really know what to do with Phloe, and I agree to an extent. I like the Phloe scenes that we got today, but I think the dialogue was really weak. After all, Chloe is intelligent enough to have realized right away that the best way to get revenge is to stay at the mansion and use Philip to get Victor's goat. Plus, haven't they been dancing around Phloe since Chloe's return in November. We get a couple scenes that move their storyline forward, then we get Chloe saying that she loves Brady, wants to spend the rest of her life with him, and just wants a friend. I think TPTB need to choose a direction and stick with it at this point. Something that mildly annoyed me on today's show was Philip's reaction to the disk being encrypted. When I saw that part of the scene, I was like "duh". Of course the disk is going to encrypted, you would think anyone with a brain would know that in this day and age. The most annoying thing on the show for me today, correction, the most annoying thing that I watched, was Sami. I was never really a huge fan of the character, but she is grating on my nerves even more now that she is hitting my new fave Nicole when she is down. Nicole was right in her advice to EJ, I just hope he grows a brain, and some other things, soon. |

I made an effort to watch the Chan scenes today but couldn't do it. I hate this storyline; there's not one single redeeming quality to it that I can see. I'm almost thinking the writers are doing this to make Stax look better in comparison because I can't believe one show is writing two such horrible relationships right now. Caroline's conversation with Sami about Lucas, followed immediately by her conversation with EJ about Sami, was kind of strange. Everyone's attitude seems to be that Sami loves Lucas, he's the love of her life, blah, blah, blah....but then they accept EJ as her husband and expect him to be there for her and help her out....it's just weird. The Sami/Rolf conversation was kind of fun but also kind of strange (that seemed to be a theme today). They had a nice rapport but knowing everything Rolf has been involved in with Stefano, it seemed kind of unusual that Sami would just forgive and forget and turn him into a psuedo nanny. I was shocked that Cassie and Rex were mentioned (although not by name); that hasn't happened in years. Nicole was terrific today. Chloe, on the other hand, seems pointless and out of place. She needs to go back to Europe and leave Philip free to pursue Morgan. Flashbacks--enough already! |

I thought the whole show was boring as hell today. I FF thru 90% of the show today. The Chelsea/Daniel storyline, come on give me a break. She sure was stalking him today. I still think that Chelsea is going to get her heart broken in this storyline and it couldn't happen soon enough for me. The rest of the show was down right ugly, about the only think I liked was watching Phillip try and read what was on the disc, hence the FF 90% of the show. |

Well i liked parts of the show (EJ, Sami, Nicole, Caroline, Rolf and Philip/Chloe), but i couldn't stand the boring and repetitive Chelsea and Dan scenes...I liked them for a minute, but now i'm over them..Chelsea is acting so stupid, and i'm tired of Dan saying no to being with her and then kissing her back when she kisses him.. Oh and Phillip and Chloe were smoking hot today..Damm..And i loved that we got eye candy from Jay and Shawn today.. |

Wow...many are going to be shocked by this post because of me always being positive and all but... This show sucked. It wasn't because of the flashbacks because, truthfully, I couldn't care less unless it reaches JER levels (and, keep in mind, I have seen tomorrow's show and it doesn't bother me although it's a bit distracting). Meaning, I don't want to see flashback sequences like tomorrow's every day or consistently for a month or something. I have been one of the few that seems to enjoy the Chelsea/Daniel story and, while I still think they are no long-term coupling and that this will lead to something ugly (I see it as more about getting caught up in the emotions of it all with Daniel's past, his saving Bo and Chelsea, etc) but today was the first time I felt the whole thing was forced. For one, it was repetitive and, two, Chelsea came off awful. She just learned about his wife and here she is pushing. Yeah, ok. SC and RM weren't even enough to save this mess today, although SC did his best to keep playing the conflict. I'm still into the story but today was not a good day Enjoyed seeing more of Nicole's vulnerability with EJ. Nice talk they had. Also liked Sami's meltdown and talk with Caroline and EJ's talk with her as well. I like that they are playing the conflict here. Rolf and Sami was interesting and refreshing. I like how they are getting Rolf out of the scientist thing and taking him in a more realistic direction. He's fun. Philip was great and I liked Chloe for the first time in months today. She had that edge back. Loved how she ripped Philip's shirt off again (she has a thing for that) and loved Nicole's reaction to it all. My only problem with Chloe is that there really isn't anyone for her to interact with other then Philip, Victor, and Nicole. By getting rid of Shawn and Belle, she has no one else to interact with on a consistent basis. I think that is why she has felt out of place of late. I did enjoy her scenes today though and it was also nice seeing Henderson as well. Today was below average at best. Not very exciting. The Chelsea/Daniel stuff brought the show down. The Steve/Kayla stuff can't come soon enough for me. Tomorrow is much better, thank God, and I think a break from Chelsea/Daniel tomorrow is refreshing. The rest of the week is looking much better as well. |

Don't get used to it  . Tomorrow, I thought, was a nice rebound. In fact, if the Chelsea/Daniel scenes were better handled (for instance, like they were Friday), I probably would've enjoyed today's overall. It just goes to show you I don't like everything. If I feel strongly enough about something I don't like, it will be mentioned. Afterall, most times everyone else points out the negative things for me, if there any. |

I didn't enjoy today's show at all. It was horribly boring. I don't know what it is with me but I just can't get behind the parings on this show lol. Chloe & Philip = boredom. Actually Chloe = boredom but Philip is guilty by association lol. Daniel & Chelsea = nastiness. I mean I couldn't even enjoy a shirtless Daniel because the scenes were so stupid. It has become apparent to me that these two can't hold a functional conversation without kissing randomly... which in and of itself is nasty. So in case you didn't guess I wasn't digging Monday's show ;) |

Isn't that the truth! I hope her pursuing a job and rebuilding her life in Salem has her interacting with other characters. As much as I love Chloe, I can't stand when a woman's life is all about her man. I don't want her or Philip being reverted back to the college crowd. With Shawn and Belle being gone, that only leaves characters like Nicole, Sami, EJ, Lucas, and maybe Ava who are closest to their age. |

It's not just you. Aside from traditional ones like Bope, J&M and Payla, the couples on DAYS suck right now, IMO. |

I keep reading posts saying stuff to the effect of "this is the REAL DAYS!" or "this is how DAYS should have been all along!", and I just have to think to myself, 'DAYS is supposed to be as dull as watching paint dry?' Go figure... |

Yeah, it's pretty peculiar. This doesn't feel like Days to me at all. I wonder why the show is constantly changing its identity? It keeps going through these weird eras, and as a result, the show is just a mess without a real identity. If you look back at the show from the past 10 years, there are many periods where it just feels like an entirely different show altogether. There's never a steady identity that defines the show overall from headwriter to headwriter. Each writer comes on and tries to mold it into something different. As a result, I think many viewers feel lost and disconnected. Y&R got to #1 by mastering the ability to keep its identity intact through all of its eras. They stuck with what worked, and didn't change it every whipstich on the whim of some random new writer. Days should learn how to do that. |

His face bothers me too! It's like all rubbery or something. Like he's wearing a mask. Or maybe I just watch all their scenes imagining someone Chelsea's age is just wearing an old guy mask and that's why those two are in each other's orbit. |

That was true until it came to LML..... <_< After reading posts about Monday's episode I don't feel bad about missing it...... I agree that the flashbacks and fakeouts that we have to deal with since Higley & Co's stuff has started airing are annoying as hell, and seem like filler due craptasic writers who don't know what to do..... The people who say this feels like the "real" Days must be used to JER's style of writing, because the flashbacks and fakeouts I mentioned before remind me of JER's writing on Passions & Days....... :frustration: |

I turned the show on for a few minutes last night on Soapnet hoping to catch a moment that would draw me back in. I saw Chan in the steamroom, EJ/Nicole, Sami having Lucas NOT come to the phone and Phloe. Nothing really exciting. Chan were having a classic soap conversation about believing in love again after losing it in a painful way. Had the conversation been between someone closer to Daniel's age, I might have been able to get into it. But I couldn't get past the fact that Dr. Dan is probably the same age as Chelsea's father. I just can't buy that this is nothing more than Dr. Dan drawn to a patient he saved and Chelsea drawn to the "hero" who saved her father. I think they are trying to make it more, but there isn't more to it than that. |

I agree with both of you. Chloe would be much better if she had more to do this time around. I want to actually see her rebuild her life and get her career jumpstarted. Hopefully, she will make some new friends or they will decide to bring Shelle back. I think it is silly that Phloe's age group consists of only two people right now. Makes no sense if you ask me. |
