Today's show sucked. It's May sweeps, and DAYS is excruciatingly boring. Chelsea has officially become a pathetic stalker. It's sad, considering all the progress her character had made in the last year and a half. |

God yes, I was/am one of Chelsea/Rachel Melvin,s biggest supporters, even when she was majorly hated by fans but the one thing I can't stand in character regression. Dena better stop while she's ahead |

:hail: Well I loved the recap Sami gave of her past. I thought the scenes were well written and I love Sami admitting that she enjoyed kissing Ej. One of the reasons I have always wanted Ej with Sami is because he reminds me so much of her. I think they are a Ying and Yang couple. I also love the chem between JS and Ali. I think those Ejami kisses we have seen in the last few shows are totally swoon worthy. I also viewed some clips of Ejami making love and OMG I think many fans will share a collective orgasm. When Scott and Sweeney were bare chest to chest it reminded me of an AMC clip I saw of Scott and Minshew. I applaude DAYS for doing their home work and seeing why so many fans followed SCOTT to DAYS. IMO he can play a love scene like no one else. James is def a leading man and not to use him as one is a total waste. *Dragon bows to Higley and Ed Scott* I think this epi was well written and well directed and produced...IMO EVERY DOOLS love scene should be this stellar. It was Amazing to watch. Gosh I feel like such a perv. lol I enjoyed this ALOT.   |

For a second...for really a half second, I kind of felt sorry for Lucas. I forgot that he walked in on Austin and Carrie scrumping, and now he is walking in on Sami and EJ scrumping. I can see why BD seems like he can't even form the dialogue he is supposed to. Like on the previews for next week, he says something about "I can't wait til Sami sees me" and he can't even pull it off for me. Poor guy is probably so sick that his character can't have a decent love scene or love interest...probably the most pathetic in Days history. Give that man something because whatever he thought he had with Sami doesn't compare to the smokin' hot, passionate, chemistry filled scene that I saw today between Sami and EJ! Just wow! I was breathless after watching it and I don't get that way watching soaps...well, not anymore! |

And I loved Sami admitting what she had done to Austin in the past. Great job, writers, for bringing up a topic that has been glossed over for a long time, especially in the past year! I love the Sami/EJ parallels and I think that is why I find myself being sucked into this torrid love affair, as I have always hated Sami for being such a nasty villan, and last year, I hated EJ for being such a nasty villain, but now, watching those two together, I had my mouth hanging open the whole time! Sizzle! |

Why is it not okay for a character to be flawed? Why can't Chelsea be bad? Or even just a pathetic stalker? Obsessive characters can be fun. Not everyone should have to run around being a Princess Carrie. If Stephanie isn't going to be the bad girl then Chelsea should pick up the slack she left off in 2006. I FLOVED today's episode with EJami interspersed with Lucas stuff. It just illustrates even more so that Sami is in love with EJ. How can Sami bed down with the guy who could be considered responsible for Lucas being in prison in the first place? How could Sami be down with EJ after Lucas begged her to stay away from him? And, of course, how could she bed down with the guy who supposedly violated her on 12/29? I can see her forgiving him. I can see her wanting to be friends for Johnny's sake. But sleeping with him? The ONLY explanation is that she doesn't love Lucas one little bit. Which I always thought anyway but now it's being driven home to no end! First, Sami was not willing to lie for Lucas to help him but it was her idea to lie for EJ to help him just weeks later. Now, with Sami going from forgiveness/clean slate to bedding down with EJ (her idea no less), it could not be more clear who Sami loves. Which is fine by me. I'll be watching with bells on to see how this all plays out. |

I donīt agree. I think this are one of the best sweeps in years and Iīm not even EJAMI fan. Itīs not story driven, but there is a definite plan behind and it just clicks together without a glitch. Last week was first about the Ava finale and next Steve/Kayla child crysis, this week are mainly Lumi/Ejami and weīre already slowly entering the next big revelation for the Nick/Max story next week. Each day there is something. Besides, I donīt even remember when there were so much lovemaking and sex on DAYS and the stories were so relationship based. The show finally feels like a soap again. |

Who the hell ever said she had to be perfect? I just don't care for this annoying, stalkerish little girl that she's become in the past few weeks. |

I disagree. In the last year and a half, she'd finally begun to mature, but now it seems as if all that character development is being thrown out the window for the sake of this silly Daniel/Chelsea story that only a small fraction of the audience even likes. |

Jane - I agree. I have been watching soaps for a long time and I know it may sound awful and shallow, but I don't watch them for the sappy "giving birth" stories or action. I watch them for the shirtless men and the romance and passion, and recently on Days (ATWT and B&B - no so much) I have hit the jackpot! I see Phillip's shirt getting ripped off, half of Salem in half naked in that steam room, and EJ and Sami have been having some romance all over the place! I love the stolen kisses between Dan and Chelsea, however, I really would prefer that there be some movement to them...but it has been the same old "we can't. you are too young. But I am not your wife and I am fine." convo that we have been seeing for awhile! I want some romance in the afternoon...and damn! There was just romance all over the place today! Kudos to the writers who have been making up for lacking all last year! |

Not really. She was stalking Ford Decker. She just has an obsessive personality. |

Loved MBE today. She gets me everytime. I really do like RM's new haircut. That's the nicest thing I can say about her scenes. I guess to be fair it was Stephanie who sent Chelsea out looking for Daniel but is this not the same scene from last week? And can they give Daniel a thesaurus instead of overusing the word "hot"? I'm tired of Chelsea/Daniel making out constantly. If I had liked this couple, they wouldn't have probably even TOUCHED yet. Figures. Meanwhile we get EJ and Sami to start to kiss. Though I've not been exactly an EJami shipper, I at least am looking forward to watching a couple I know that can illicit chemistry and heat with a love scene. Love Nick again coming up to Max. Now why is Max acting all dickish again? I still do'nt get this storyline. What does he think Nick is gonna do? Nick is not the kind of guy tot ake credit for other people's work anyway and he would KNOW the work submitted is not his own. And Max saying "Enjoy the kudus" is really insulting to a perfectionist like Nick (and me). |

But the Ford situation and this thing with Daniel are nothing alike. They're two totally different sets of circumstances, based on two totally different sets of motivations on Chelsea's part. |

Posters were talking about storyline regression for Chelsea and I was responding with that in mind. It's better she goes back and is more like she used to be than for her to be a boring Princess Carrie wannabe IMO. |

But why does she have to be either or, though? She can still be an interesting dynamic character while being mature at the same time. |

I think they are just stalling the story till Rosco Bornīs character appear next week. Theyīve been hinting for months something is going on with Nick, Max and that grant thing and this week it finally starts to build up towards that big party and dean Thomas revelation next week. This is another thing I appreciate at Dena. I quess she is really in sync with Corday/NBC and there are no major rewrites because so far she is not making any lose points. Sometimes it takes time, but all things which she hinted through the last few months are really coming into a fruition and have some purpose. |

I think you're giving the character a little too much credit, IMO. But I guess one could argue the fact that Chelsea had to show strength and maturity to re-evaluate her life and end things with Nick. Sucks you're not enjoying DAYS. I totally am for the first time in agesssssss. |

Well, you might, but I wouldn't be among them. She only did that so she could legitimately go chasing off after a man twice her age. |

Has there ever been a time in this show's history where a large portion of the fans weren't hating the show? In the last couple of years, I can't think of a time where everybody was happy (at least for more than one episode or so). If one group is thrilled, another group thinks it's the worst it's ever been. I'm not making any judgments about who is right and who is wrong, I just find it interesting. I like some things about the show these days, I intensely dislike other things. There are things that Higley has done that I hate with a passion and other things that I give her props for, however begrudgingly. I think, overall, sweeps has been decent. It's kept me entertained more than March or April did, so I guess that's a good thing. |
