Top Chef 3 was preceded by an all-star competition between finalists on its first two seasons, and now Project Runway will apparently do the same thing.
Chloe Dao, Andrae Gonzalo, Jay McCarroll, Santino Rice, Nick Verreos, and Daniel Vosovic and others are set to return for a “truncated season,” OK! magazine reports.
An anonymous “insider,” however, refers to it as a “special,” so it’s not clear if it’ll be a one-episode special like Top Chef’s all-star competition, or something that lasts longer. “It most likely won’t be a full season, more like a Christmas or Thanksgiving special. And since a lot of contestants were hesitant to return to the show, producers have upped the ante by offering that the individual challenges will feature fabulous cash prizes,” the source said.
The magazine’s vague reporting says this will come “as [the show] heads over to Lifetime for season six,” so it’s not clear if this competition will air on Bravo or Lifetime.
