Chloe: "I let my emotions take over. It's my weakness. I really need to learn to control myself."

Chloe is emotional? Really? I've never been able to tell, since she reacts the same in every situation: dead-eyed and monotone.

NB is awful, awful, awful.

Oh you are so right! I can't stand Chloe/Nadia! I really don't know how actors opposite her don't crack up at her awfulness! How does this woman gets work like that? Was she always this bad? The only time I thought she was halfway decent was acting opposite Brandon Beemer...then again, that probably wasn't her acting!

And the love scene was awful...and I can't believe it with the hotness of JKJ flying around! First, I don't buy Phillip going for her or the friends with benefits thing. Chloe doesn't seem at all interested and Phillip isn't desperate. Chelsea/Dan have more chemistry than Phillip/Chloe!
or maybe CJ is right that anything pales in comparison to the EJami scene a week ago. Too bad that I am hating on Sami right now. Talk about another idiot!

I just can't watch the merry go round between Lucas and Sami. His constant yelling and the same damn conversation was old on the first day, much less the 5th. Please end it already!

And I agree with most people that the John/Roman/Marlena scenes were pretty bad too. I really can't rationalize Marlena at present! Chick needs a shrink! I hope John rips her a new one for the drugging and underhandedness.

Kinda liked the weird Nicole/Ava friendship...they compliment each other. EJ thrown in there was pretty interesting and I find myself raising a brow over EJ and Ava. Two of a kind with the controlling father/shady past thing going.
Ava is more EJ's kind...definitely not as psycho as Sami and that is saying alot.
But it looks like EJ's heart is still with Sami.

As bad as the past few days have been, I am hooked on the show!

I too liked the EJ and Ava dynamic, I could see how she could totally relate to EJ given their privledged backgrounds and Evil fathers. Plus they have both been rejected somewhat by people they deeply loved.

Just chiming in with the Tanna wedding.
I was hoping for some kind of Salem get together where everyone is invited, everyone interacts, but has their own personal dramas going on.
Maybe Roman flirts with Anna before the wedding...maybe mentions their tryst a few months ago.
While Tony is getting flirty with Kate or Marlena...

At the reception, certain couples dance and talk...or give each other they eyes across the room.

I love balls, weddings, receptions on soaps where everyone is together. Totally wasted opportunity here, and it speaks poorly to the fans who love Tony and Anna. In a period of a week, they get engaged and married and honeymoon? All off camera?
THAT is a shitty story!

It's not like Tony or Anna doesn't have family in Salem! I was hoping that Carrie would come back too...maybe for Lucas? EJ giving his big brother a toast? Some great moments could be had here!

PS-love everyone's comments about today! So right on! I love it when people say what I am thinking!

And that's all I wanted as well. Of course Tony and Anna are filler, but the writers could have used their wedding as the big event that brings characters together to blow up storylines and or exposed secrets, etc. But of course, this is Dena Higley writing the show and she has no long-term plans, so there's no point for a big wedding.

Maybe if NB quit working so hard to stick her chest out she could concentrate more on her acting. There are times when her back is so arched, I think she's going to fall over backwards. And as if the twins aren't in everyone's face enough, she's also wearing clothes two sizes too small. I expected a button on her blouse to pop and put out Philip's eye!

How much more of the Lumi angst are we expected to endure? For the life of me I can't figure out why Sami would even want Lucas. All he does is scream and berate her and say vile things. And Lucas is smart enough to know that despite Sami's constant vows that he's the love of her life (I'm thinking of starting a drinking game), she's got more feelings for EJ than she wants to admit to having.

I want to smack Marlena. Seriously. WTH is wrong with her? As for Roman, I wish Jawn had hit him harder. This story is so messed up on so many different levels.

I love Nicole. Every time she's on screen, I'm so happy!

Saint Dan is wearing on my nerves. Tomorrow he'll probably have a halo and an angel choir following him around.

So I'm reading the day ahead previews now and apparently, Tony and Anna have already married (off-screen) and according to Morgan, they're on their honeymoon. What a jip!

This pisses me off and I'm not even a Tony & Anna fan. Why is it that some couples like J&M can have four or five weddings (yes I, a J&M fan, said that lol), but a loved couple that hasn't been on for years can't get ONE wedding on screen? I bet ya any money they wont be on screen at all this summer.

As for today's show... wow... BORING! I never though that a writer could make me almost care less about my all time favorite soap couple... but it is starting to happen. J&M are boring the HELL out of me! I have never seen Marlena written so poorly in all my time watching DAYS! Even being a J&M fan I am to the point of "PICK A SIDE... you LOVE him or you HATE him!" It pisses me off that the writers are taking a normally strong, confident, self assured woman and turning her into a fickle twit!

I really can't even think of anything I liked about this show... it was just that the J&M stuff pissed me off THE MOST ;)

I think this is probably the worst I've seen J&M written since before JER left the last time. Marlena's becoming a total idiot again, and John...well, I don't even know where to start there. And this story isn't even for the couple of J&M. Marlena's just a background piece in the absurd rivalry between John and Philip. I hope no one's seriously buying this as being another love story for J&M because it most certainly is not. All through their scenes today, I just kept saying to myself how stupid this whole thing is.

So right!

I mean I know May sweeps weddings are kind of a soap cliche, but still it wouldn't have killed anyone to give Tony and Anna a nice small ceremony at the DiMansion and let the Ejamicas awkwardness and Lexie-Abe marriage bickering fester in the backdrop of it and maybe have the cops come (or Abe and Roman get a call) in the middle of the ceremony or reception to arrest Jawn because they had just then found out about the drugs on his boat. What would have been so difficult about that? I mean besides them possibly giving the Brady Pub set a rest for one day.

Also, as much as I loved Lucas walking in on Sami and EJ at the time, this could have been a much more interesting story if after the sex Sami got a phone call that Lucas was out of prison and told EJ that it was a one-time thing but begged him to keep it a secret which he agreed to do but told her he was moving on... and then we had plenty of angst and secrets with anticipation of when the other shoe would drop and if/how Lucas would find out the truth. That would have been much more preferable to me than Lucas lecturing Sami/Sami groveling to Lucas for five episodes straight.

Honestly, I have been wondering where this is going ever since they had that line from Rolf one day where he said something to Sami like she had as much of a chance of letting go of Lucas and being with EJ as John and Marlena had of getting back together.

I mean as an EJami fan it sort of made me feel better at the time because OF COURSE John and Marlena will get back together, but if I was a big-time Jarlena shipper I would be like fuck... they're never getting back together.

It is funny that you mentioned that line that Rolf said because that gave me hope too. Because you know damn well when someone says something like that on a soap the exact OPPOSITE will happen lol ;)

Phloe need to go. Seriously. IMO!

I can't say I'm heartbroken we won't see the Tanna wedding. It would probably be really embarrassing and a joke anyway. I bet Thaao is PISSED!

The Dan scenes were terrible.  I hate when characters are propped like that, but what I hate even more was that Nick was forced to be in the same room with Dan without wrapping his hands around that guy's neck.  I don't want Nick to be in on the We Worship Dan Committee.  I want Nick to be kept far away from that guy.

I agree, the Daniel propping scenes were terrible. I loved your comment about Nick being in the same room as Daniel and not wrapping his hands around his neck.

What the hell was up with that phone call Daniel had at the end? There is something very odd about this guy. They are propping this guy up on a pedestal that I hope is going to have a big tumble and hopefully crush Chelsea's heart.

As sinister as we all hope that phone call was I'm sure it's something lame like he was making dinner reservations for him and Chelsea at a fancy restaurant or buying flowers for Kayla for her new baby. I mean he is a saint after all.

Perhaps he was coming up with a resolution to Homelessness or World Hunger Posted Image. It's not that far of a stretch since he is like a pioneer in solving the global warming crisis.

Today's show was awful IMHO, the lines and pimping were horrible and Marlena was acting like she got hit in the head with a "Dumb Stick".......

The only parts I liked were the interactions between Ava and EJ........

After loving Monday's eppy, Tuesday was just plain bad.

All this Daniel propping is for what exactly, just for him to look gnarly in Chelsea's eyes or to make him seem younger so the show can try and hide the fact he is 20 years older than Chelsea? If the show insists on going on with Chelsea/Daniel(something I don't mind if done right) at least do it realistically and have some in salem mention the age difference. I feel bad for Shawn Christian, the dialogue for his character is just terrible.

Chelsea/Ava: These were easily the best scenes of the day, too bad there weren't more of them because the rest of the show sucked, except I actually did like the Phloe scenes.

Don't care to comment about the rest.....

Today was just baaad.

Say goodbye to Marlena as an individual, which Hogan successfully brought back after almost 15 years of her being nothing but John Black's damsel in distress. She's back to being "John's woman" and nothing more.

I don't like how they're writing John is this animal. For a while there, I was fine with everything concerning this new John, but lately, he's like a freaking animal, rather than the smart ass DiMera he became and I fell in love with. I couldn't stand Marlena sedating John and then Roman and Abe taking him into the police station. Watching today's show, I felt like were back in 2000 when Roman was being an ass to John and Brady and Marlena sided with Roman over her own husband. I hated that!

Thank God Tamara Braun is leaving soon. Ava has nothing left to do and it would be a shame if she stayed on this show and her talents were wasted. Is it obvious to anyone else that the writers only had stuff for Ava during the captive storyline and once that was over, they had no clue what to do with her. And you can't say that it was because they knew Tamara would be leaving. Why not have Ava just die if that was the case? It's clear as day that the writers have no idea what to do with Ava and she's just giong to linger around town until Tamara leaves the show.

I did enjoy Ava vs. Chelsea though. Meow!

Excuse me while I puke thanks to the Daniel pimping that went down on today's show thanks to Nick, Maggie and Bo. The entire scenes discussing the whole green, eco-friendly stuff was completely forgettable and I'm becoming really annoyed by the whole "going green" pimping that's become DAYS' trademark. I'm over it!

The only thing that kept me into today's show was Phloe. They're hot. Jay Kenneth Johnson and Nadia Bjorlin have undeniable chemistry. Poor Nadia though. She is getting such crappy material that just doesn't suit her. She was awesome when she first returned in November as the high class diva. Once Hogan's team left though, the material for Chloe became below average and you can tell that Nadia is bored. She definitely won't be staying once her contract is over. She's over the show once again. Anyone can see it.

I don't really remember Lucas and Sami even being on today's episode. That's not a sign of good writing.

The show's episodes, day to day, are so forgettable now. I'm feeling the same way I felt in 2003 concerning the show.

With Dan and Chelsea it's not even the age difference that bothers me. For me that would be hypocritical given the fact that I like the pairing of Dorian and Joey on OLTL. For me it's the fact that it just plain sucks. It makes no sense. They barley spoke two words to each other before her surgery and now every time they are in a room together all they do is suck face... its just out of no where and boring IMO.
