I don't see why they keep bringing Chloe back at the most random times. Nobody's ever really given a shit about her.

ICAM! She's boring as hell!

We could get half-naked Philip with Morgan or Nicole (or Belle! Bring her back), and those would be a hell of a lot more entertaining than Chloe.

No way! Jay is at his best when he's with Nadia. It's just not the same with anyone else. I want my Phloe. :P

The green story can only be a story if there's opposition, friction. Drama. There is none. Massive fail.

Ava and Nicole's scenes were full of win the other day.

Is there anything else to say? lol

After all... tomorrow is another day!

Well I finally get to watch all of Thursday's show.

Why did Maggie invite Daniel to Nick's party? And why is DOOL beating me over the head about how EVERYONE in Salem is saving the environment, I really don't care. Oh well at least they let Nick be cold to Chelsea rather than have him chase her around like a puppy dog. She definitely deserves the cold shoulder.

And OMG I had read people talking about how ridiculous all the doctors slobbering over Chelsea was so I thought I was prepared for it, but no I was still rolling my eyes and covering my mouth to stifle laughter. Sure she looks OK, but Stephanie was gorgeous in that blue dress and we're supposed to believe they're hitting on Chelsea and not her? Just because this show tells me what a sexpot Chelsea is, just because this show tells me Daniel is a God among men, etc.. doesn't make it so.

I think I'll like Roscoe Born. He has a very good voice. It annoys me they made him dean of the physics dept. rather than the dean of the engineering dept. though. To me that would be the more logical dept. associated with green energy stuff. (Yeah I am that neurotic I have to nitpick this)

Also this is kind of random but I'm glad if Lexie has to pour out her heart about her marriage to someone it's Hope. Much better her than Daniel. Plus the two of them both looked STUNNING.

Steve and Kayla were zzzzzzzzzz.

EJ and Nicole were intriguing. I didn't see much chemistry for the two of them in the sauna a while back, but definitely did at the bar. I still love Nicole in every scene she's in. It's really a credit to Ari IMO that she is able to give Nicole, a constant drunk flirt throwing herself at men, such humanity and rootability despite how desperate the character may seem on paper. And I like that we are getting the shrewd and manipulative side of EJ again rather than just EJ Poppins, but at the same time we find out his diabolical plots basically amount to him being nice and supportive to Sami to win her over. Oh how devious. (Yes, I know about the upcoming spoiler, and don't think that is all that terrible either...) But anyway, it's not enough to make me stop wanting EJami to happen, but it's certainly a much more entertaining obstacle/diversion from that than just about anything else they've come up with. I just wish we got the scheming EJ *WITH* Sami so maybe she could be interesting again. And I'm still extremely pissed off that the ridiculous writing for this show gave EJ and Sami a week's worth of heart to hearts pre-sex but can't even give them ONE scene alone to figure things out since Lucas walked in on them and back into Sami's life.

Reading the Prevuze first I thought the show will be very boring, but it seemed much better on screen. I absolutely love EJ/Nicole, Ari is really giving her all into the scenes and the writers actually notices and slowly gives her back more substance. She made a huge progress from the one note Paris-like cheap girl which appeared at the Kiriakis door. I expected a little more from the Rosco Born appearance and thought we will finally discover what the secret between him/Nick and Max is, but I quess the revelation will come later. But I liked the scene where Max saw dean Robbins for the first time. Now Iīm almost sure our quesses are right and Robbins is really his father. I really didnīt mind the doctors talking about Chelsea, I think there was actually only one who really checked her out the rest was just having good time. And Iīm not even sure they could saw Stephanie and the rest of the gang.

The only think I really didnīt like was the green talk. It really came very forced and the writers did a very poor job, nobody looked or sounded natural. But it was PA sponsored by NBC so whatever. It wasnīt worse the annual "there is a patient with AIDS" episode which always appeared out of nowhere and ended with Alice Horton conforting the patient and having her speach, never mentioning him again.

Abe: "Is there anything else you want to say?"

John: "Yes. Go to hell!!"

LOL!!!

One thing that is so redundant with this soap is that whenever something happens with John, Marlena always defends him. On the other hand, Roman always opposes her thoughts or at the very least is always skeptical. He is a cop so that is somewhat justified, but he always comes off as him being completely heartless. That is exactly what is happening with this storyline now.

I can't believe Anna and Tony got married off screen. That aggravates me. I know a lot of fans including myself were looking forward to this wedding. Not just that, but they've already had their honeymoon, too? And, no one even knew about this, or thought about having a celebration or anything for them. This bites!

Marlena along with many of the other Salemites have a really good heart. The way they are still willing to help Ava shows that. Whether she was being drugged or not wouldn't weigh in as a factor in my mind if I were on that plane that she tampered with. To hell with her, would be my thoughts!

DAYS really needs to cut its losses with Steve and Kayla. They are just SO boring now, and im sure DAYS could use the money it is paying Stephen and MBE. Give Kayla and Steve a happy ending and send them on their way, please.

Why is this show devoting such a ridiculous amount of time to Max's secret math genius like it's a big deal or something?

I have to agree with this. They're a snore fest....and honestly, I'm starting to see little things creep up that may start to prove the points of those who do not like Dena..... :drunk: :drunk: :drunk:

After all... tomorrow is another day!

Grrrrrrrrrrrrr... Anyway...

Is it just me or has Marlena been wearing that silver blouse for like the last month? This is like the Salem day that won't end. I almost think she was wearing this same outfit back when Tony and Anna got engaged at the pub and she's still wearing it now, as apparently Tony and Anna have been married and honeymooned in Bora Bora off-screen and returned to Chez Rouge to tell the people of Salem about it. Oh and about Tony and Anna... I fucking weep for Leann and Thaao as they do bring it in the little crumbs of storyline they get from this show, but if they were going to have them married offscreen I almost think it's more insulting to have them back so suddenly as I can't even delude myself into thinking they are just resting these characters and they will come back from the honeymoon with an actual story. And if they weren't going to show the wedding on screen, why did they need them married so quickly after the engagement? And who the hell has an off-screen wedding during MAY FUCKING SWEEPS anyway? I mean nothing would have changed in this story AT ALL if they had just made it out to be Tony and Anna showed up at Chez Rouge to tell everyone about their engagement and that is what they celebrated. So ridiculous.

Speaking of things off-screen, apparently EJ gave Ava a big referral talking up the exploits of Marlena in some off-screen pub moment before she showed up at the DiMansion. That's kind of weird considering shortly before that conversation would have taken place Marlena would have been a huge bitch to him in the last time her and EJ shared a scene. But I guess it's nice to have a memory of why I used to like Marlena as she wasn't a total pushover when Ava showed up on her doorstep given all Ava has done, but at the same time her compassionate side won out and she was willing to refer her to another shrink.

In other off-screen news, I guess Kaman is making a comeback? Not that I'm terribly dying for a Kaman love scene or more Roman air time in general, but it would be nice to see Kate more and just for the sake of good storytelling some logical buildup ON-SCREEN might be nice. Curious about the snipping back and forth with Anna judging Kaman and Kate judging Tanna. I still maintain an Anna-Kate rivalry whether it involved a Tanna/Kaman quad would be nice, but I've given up hope of all that. Oh and screw you Roman with yet another lecture of Kate about meddling in Sami and Lucas's lives just because the writers finally let Kate acknowledge hey Lucas is out of prison. Kate has not been meddling at all lately. Unless she's been doing it off-screen I guess.

Loved John telling off Abe. Just wish he had flashbacked to the karate chop. But wait a second... why is Marlena not down at the station gaspily trying to bail John out of jail? (And I guess EJ should be doing this too as his attorney) So illogical. Oh wait now Marlena is there to talk to him. OK one thing fixed about this episode. I still don't understand why Marlena has such huge blinders toward the possibility of Phillip being a drug trafficker. I mean I get why she doesn't trust John given all his changes, but I just don't get why she would talk up Phillip. I mean a year ago he was showing up like a psycho kidnapping her grandbaby Claire and daughter Belle after having tried to take custody from her, and this boy is the son of Victor and Kate and was birthed by Vivian so it's not like he had angelic role models in the adults around him. Thought the ending with them sort of making up but painfully saying goodbye was well done though.

Don't care about Max's big secret smarts AT ALL, but love Stephanie's brilliant blue dress. How fricking long are they going to drag out this Good Max Hunting story anyway? I mean Tony and Anna can get engaged and married at warp speed yet it takes Max months to confess he should have been a mathlete instead of a grease monkey? LAME. Ava making the Brady Pub her new hangout is ridiculous, whatever this show's problems with sets. I certainly wouldn't want to hang out at the home base of the family I terrorized and site of my father's death, if I was trying to get on with my life and become a better person. Hopefully Stephanie telling her off can be the end of this nonsense.

^ You're not wrong about Marlena and her blouse! Originally I thought they may have kept her in the same attire all this time to create the impression that she is stressed, occupied with what's going on with John, and hence has no time to groom herself. She was wearing that same thing long before Tony and Anna had their offscreen marriage.

I noticed Marlena's blouse, too. What makes it even more ridiculous is that Nicole apparently changes clothes 15 times a day because every time you see her, she's wearing something new, even if the new scene is just a few minutes later. Evidently Ari is getting all the wardrobe budget.

Again with the green talk today...In theory, I have no problem with it at all, but I don't care to hear the characters on my show shove it down my throat. It's just getting out of hand.

I HATE that Marlena had to ask John if he was guilty or not. That's just plain bad writing. It's understandable to me that she would say that John has been acting like a criminal, because he obviously has. But for her to honestly question him about something like this? I don't buy it for a second. Actually, I don't buy any of this drug trafficking crap.

Maybe it's because I've been hating the writing for Marlena lately, but I was actually pretty underwhelmed by her scenes with Ava.

I so hope we're not going to go back to Hope and Kate being girlfriends or a Kaman reunion. Hope and Kate shouldn't be friends at all, and the Kate I know would not go for a guy like Roman. I didn't believe it the first time, and if it's happening again, I won't believe it this time.

Shockingly, no one observed what I did. Stayla's conversation about how Jo watched her soaps came out of NOWHERE. No reason for explaining that she downloads them from the Internet.

NBC clearly is trying to plant it into viewers' minds that soaps will leave the tube and hit the Web. They're clearly trying to groom us for the change. Yeah, "Days" will be renewed -- ON THE DAMN INTERNET!

It's just like Erika Slezak said. Higley knows how to write events (as we saw with the plane crash), but when it comes to actual stories, she doesn't have a clue.

Lawd!!!! I understand that there are people here who think Higley sucks ass and that's fine (and quite frankly with the way this week has been going understandable) but PLEASE, I IMPLORE YOU, can everyone please stop quoting Erika Slezak!! :hail:
Yeah, Erika's quote is HOW many years old now?

AKA: OUTDATED, and therefore, no longer relevant!

This is now.

Honestly, I thought it was more of a reference to DAYS being available to download on iTunes, but then again, I could be wrong.
