Since we were royally jipped of a Tony and Anna wedding last week, lets take a trip to the past to Tony and Anna's second wedding. Look at that dress! :puke:

Discuss the rest of the week! :D

Great clip, Drew!

It really shows how things have changed over time. I don't think anyone would wear a dress like that! Who was the flower girl?

Ahh... Carrie is a possibility. I don't remember seeing her at that young of an age.

Today's episode was awesome. I loved watching Lucas with the twins. He was so natural with both of them, and it was so cute when he was singing that lame song to Johnny lol. Also, drunk EJ was also great. I laughed so hard when Sami brought him home, tried to help him regain balance and he still fell over. That was a bad move on Sami's part ... going to get EJ. She certainly didn't score any points with Lucas there.

Line of the day:

John: "Marlena left me"
Drunken EJ: "it happens"

:D

I'm so tired of the Phloe sex, it was ok the 1st time, seems like they've done it 100 times since and it's the same day/night in Salem..........

Bryan was pretty good with the twins - cute segment...
Bo and Hope on the dance floor - kind of hokey but hey hokey can be fun...
Phillip and Chloe doing it again - yawn - make that double yawn...
John, Roman and Abe - BORING with a big B
Stephanie and Max - Whatever
Morgan and her dad - again whatever
EJ and Nicole - one of the best scene's ever - James Scott was Brilliant and Ari perfect - the comedic timing was awesome!
EJ and Sami - again James Scott rocked this scene - the physical comedy was perfect! and his comment "it happens" when John says Marlena left him was sooooooo funny!

EJ and Nicole were the only thing worth watching in today's show. I like drunk EJ. James Scott did well with that material.

I also didn't mind Bo and Hope's salsa dancing. You can tell Dena doesn't have a storyline for them, but since she's a Bope fanbitch, she's going to give them whatever she can so that she can write for them.

Everything else was a complete yawn. I can't believe Philip and Chloe are having sex AGAIN!

I thought JS and AZ did a great job with the EJ drunk scenes. You can easily see DHig is going for the Nicole falls for taken EJ and suffers heartbreak. But EJ so needed to just have a binge. He has been under such strain since HE came back. I know EJ can deal with it but the release was "mahvelous" to watch.

I loved how Sami left in such a hurry, she almost immitated roadrunner. Dragging EJ out of Chez Rouge was hilarious. But the moment when she told EJ to look at her and their eyes connected was sweet. EJ had trouble saying no to her.

The homecoming of Robo and DrunkEJ were both hilarious. "Daddy's home!" Daddy must have been disappointed to only find the convict to greet him. I like how RoboJohn is showing signs of real feeling here and there. I do so hope old "perfect" John stays gone forever. The new version is so much more entertaining.

Lots of snooze in this episode but the good parts were great!!!!!

Don't care about Phloe, but can't blame Chloe on sleeping with Philip again. Just saying. ;)

There's no such thing as too much Phloe sex! After waiting this long, I'd be happy if that's all they do for the next six months. :D

Today was ok. EJ and Nicole were great. Scott and Zucker rock playing drunks and I like how they show Nicole developing feelings for EJ and are playing on her failures in love. I love these two together.

I enjoyed seeing Lucas with the twins and Sami's scenes with drunk EJ and Nicole were good too. Loved the end with John coming home and EJ's "It happens" line. I like that John is showing some emotion over Marlena now. Shows progression.

I liked Morgan/Paul and I don't mind Philip and Chloe having sex again (besides, people said they wanted love scenes and now they are getting them) because I think they are trying to drive the point home that Philip is too hurt to commit to anything after his past failures in love so now he's gone the "let's have fun without anyone getting hurt" route. I think Chloe wants more but it's clear Philip is too afraid to go there and the sex is fulfilling his needs right now. The Morgan flashback was nice to see because it shows we are finally moving in a direction and I like it. Can't wait.

I agree with Drew about Bo and Hope. It seems they slowly get back into action next week but Dena is at least giving them little things until then and people want to see romance and those classic Days moments so this should please them. I liked their dancing and once again the show mentioned Bo's recovery and even Hope's bad shoulder from the gunshot wound so I don't see why some thing things were dropped in regards to Bo and Hope. Anyway, fun scenes with them and I liked them interacting with Paul and Morgan.

Stax is just a waste. I'm interested in Max and the Roscoe Born story but Stax is almost ruining that story for me too.

Not too bad but not exactly a great Monday episode.

I've only watched the first 12 minutes of today's show so far, and I can already tell that E.J. and Nicole is going to be the only thing worth my time.

LOL...Not only in your opinion, I can't stand them as well. I love the whole thinking of Morgan business. The writing is on the wall!!

Even though I FF'd through their scenes, I did love Philip thinking about Morgan while he was with Chloe. It's pretty clear what he thinks of Chloe now, LoL!

I wasn't interested in Phloe doing it again but I'm fine with Philip getting some action. I like the proper use of a flashback for once, having him remember Morgan from a scene that I had actually forgotten. At least with Phorgan they aren't rushing it.

The Dimansion is just the weirdest place. Between John running and talking like he's got gravel in his voice (does that mean he's happy Jawn) to drunk EJ sitting in the floor with Lumi argueing over whether Sami was jealous of Nicole, I imagine Rolf is probably down in the cellar drinking as much wine as he can with headphones listening to Wagner music and thinking if happier times with Stefano.

Max comparing himself to Rainman sounds about right, except he's not as smart, or charming or likable. It would be like finding out Tom Cruise is the idiot Savant given what a jerk he was in the movie.

I really liked Nicole today but not liking she's already developing feelings for EJ. I'd rather her still be only interested in him for sex and making Sami mad.

If it weren't for EJ and Nicole, today would have been a complete disaster of an episode. They were the only thing keeping me interested in finishing out the episode. It was not good.

I still don't think EJ and Nicole mesh well as a couple. James Scott and Arianne Zuker have chemistry, but I can't see it being sexual chemistry. I like these two as flirty friends. It works so much better that way. No way in hell do I want to see these two become a couple.

Don't feel like giving Bo and Hope a storyline? Oh, just have them dance the night away and be fun and flirty. At least they're getting airtime and being completely wasted.

I'm losing all interest in Morgan and Paul. I just want them gone now. I don't care about either one at this point. I was happy when Linden Ashby got the role of Paul. And I even liked Kristen Renton as Morgan because I thought there was still going to be a possibility that Max and Morgan would get back together. Since that's not happening, and the writers are forcing me to watch the zero chemistry between Morgan and Philip, I'd rather see her gone. She's not needed, to tell you the truth. Really. Philip already has two women, who are much more interesting in his inner-circle, that being Chloe and Nicole. Morgan can go off to live with her mother and make Paul take the wrap for John and send his ass of to jail. Just get rid of the Hollingsworths.

I couldn't even tell you about the scenes that took place at the station. All I know is that John, Abe and Roman were involved. It was so damn boring that I have no idea what came out of it. And this is supposed to be their big storyline, this drug bust thing? HAHAHA!

:funny:

I don't know if Higley's lost touch with her inner-Lumi or if the couple is just too fucked up beyond repair for her to do anything with them. Lightening is not striking twice because Higley is not writing Lumi well at all. I'll give her credit that she has Lucas and Sami being their normal selfish selves, but I think as a couple, Lumi is done for and it's time to pull the plug and have these two go their seperate ways.

God, I know we asked for more romance, but do Philip and Chloe have to fuck in every episode? It's like we have to ask for one extreme or the other. There's no middle ground. And it's still the same damn night. Philip and Chloe have just banged five times in one night. And they're still moving around, not tired at all. It's laughable.

But then again, so is this show now.

The Morgan flashback didn't bother me. Higley is leaving many doors open on many different pairings, so they have to have the set up there just in case. She may or may not go the Morgan route with Philip (if she does, I won't watch. If she doesn't, I'll be happy).

What I do find interesting is that it wasn't a romantic flashback. Morgan was bitchy and annoying in that scene.

Personally, I'm of the opinion that Philip is now working with Paul to nail John, and that's why he thought of Morgan and then called Paul. He's thinking of his shipping stuff.

I like that John knows about Phloe and plans on using that to his advantage. How could he use it if Chloe isn't Philip's weakness? :D

Oh, and there wasn't a single thought of Morgan once Philip started kissing Chloe. :cheer:

ITA. I'd much prefer to watch Chloe and Nicole in Philip's sphere - especially since there is a long history of bad blood between them. The three of them are highly entertaining.
