That's a good point. She is being safe and she has all these character interactions but has seemed reluctant to pick a direction. She seems to be a bit now in some regards. She just needs to pick a direction and stick to it and write a good story. |

It couldn't be worse than the Iraq summer, only the 2nd time I have tuned out for almost an entire month. The first being November of Langan's last month as HW, as I believe he tried his best to ruin DAYS. |

It didn't make me want to quit watching the show all together. I just didn't really pay much attention to that storyline. I still watched the show. But by that point, DAYS was pretty much just background noise for me. I turned it on out of habit, but I only watched when something interesting caught my eye. |

Even as background noise, I still couldn't stand it. It was so bad that it even ruined any entertainment value I had for the other stories. That story was just so distasteful and insulting that I couldn't believe Days would go there. I would even tolerate Garden of Eden again over that storyline. |

DAYS doesn't do character driven storylines and hasn't really in 25 years. Doing one now would be awkward and un-DAYS-like, especially a soul searching type storyline. |

Was that during the Stan era? If so, count me in with you all. The Stan era made my stomach turn. I just stopped watching. |

I did not see any chem between Ej and Nicole until the bar scenes. You can tell Ari and James really enjoy working together and it makes watching the scenes even more fun. I can not blame Nicole for wanting Ej at all. I love the fact they are using James as a leading man again...As for Lumi... not enjoyable to me. I hate the way Lucas talks down to Sami. In the future... I am looking forward to upcomming Ejami scenes, and the scenes with BD and Nadia. I am glad the cast is being shaken up. It will breath new life into a show that has gone stale imo. I saw some foreshadowing of a Phillip and Morgan.... flashback...Phillip obviously has feelings for her, why flash back if you don't. lol I WUV JAWN! When he walked through the door bellowing Daddy's home, I could not help but bust a gut. I feel so bad for him . He loves Marlena, and here she up and left him another DEAR JAWN letter. The best scene for me was James playing drunk, he was so funny and you could tell during one scene that BD was trying hard not to crack up. He had to turn his head from the camera. I love stuff like that...Looks like a fun day on the DOOLS set. All and all a pretty good show. I love my DAYS. Edited by Red Mist, Jun 3 2008, 08:43 AM.

I did Kirk, the show was so bad then, and that SL was offensive to me. I thought it was all quite disgusting. :puke: |

Haven't watched today's episode yet but read prevuze for tomorrow and first there is a scene with Abe and Daniel where Daniel tells Abe what a special Chief of Staff and person Lexie is. Then Lexie shows up and Abe asks her to breakfast and she says Daniel beat him to it. Later, Daniel meets with Chelsea and tells her there is someone else in his life. Another woman who is not readily accessible to him. Could he mean Lexie? If so, things just got a whole lot more interesting. First, he gets that mysterious phone call last week and now this? I had a feeling things would end badly for Chelsea/Daniel and now I think it may end badly for anyone involved with this guy. I just get this sense something is up and it has my interest. |

It may not be ending anytime soon because in Rachel's blog entry for May 23rd she mentions how all she did that morning at work was make out with Shawn Christian. My guess is that the Chelsea/Daniel saga continues until at least the end of this month, possibly move into July. I was so on the Dansea train but had to get off. I just couldn't deal with the monotony. |

I would love for Daniel to wind up being some kind of serial womanizer who can't help but hit on unavailable or inappropriate women but I'm sure that isn't what's happening. Daniel has proven himself unable to simply TELL Chelsea to buzz off (what with the kissing back and all, moron) so now he's taken to lying to her I'm sure. We never get a soap character coming clean this early. Now why he goes all out with Lexie and does this breakfast? I have no idea but since he thought it was perfectly innocent and fine to take a patient he was just told was heavily crushing on him out for coffee, I'm sure he thinks this is no big deal. Today's show was boring. Hated to hear more Lucas yelling. The green talk continues. I felt the only reason to have the Johnson baby in danger was so we get a moment with Chelsea and Bo there given her infertility (and thank you show for ruining me to the Chelsea/Bo stufff since PR and SC look a lot alike. Chelsea's daddy complex is now reminding me of John/Belle. Ugh.) Hangover EJ is not as much fun as drunk EJ but loved the shirt. Glad to see Marlena's portrait was taken down but I do think the show was lazy in not writing in Dee's exit properly. Even with the urgency of Eric's accident, they could have at least showed a scene with Sami if not John. |

Ari and James continue to rock the scenes they're in together as Nicole and EJ. I think they have amazing chemistry, but I don't want to see them as a real legit couple. Not at all. I like that Nicole knows EJ's secret about the annulment, but is keeping her knowledge about it a secret. She knows that she is going to be able to use this against EJ at some point to help herself in the long run. That's very Nicole-like. For Pete's sake, can we have John call Nicole "Nikki K" one time, please? I know that was the old John's nickname for Nicole, but I always loved it and it made her so mad when he called her that. I like this Yvonne chick. I wouldn't mind seeing her become an actual character with staying power. Chloe's getting a new apartment, huh? Who wants to bet that she gets either Lucas or Sami's old apartment set? Steve and Kayla already got EJ's old apartment set with a new paint job. There are two apartment sets left. It was nice seeing Kate again. While she was trying to control Lucas, it didn't really come off that way in today's show. The writing for Kate has definitely changed. I hope it continues to be like this. I want Kate to have a life of her own, even if it means sticking her with Roman. And this is like the first scene that Kate's had with one of her children in months. When's the last time she and Philip shared scenes? The discussions about going green are so freaking laughable and rediculous. Very rolling eye moments with these scenes. Who cares? Not me. I didn't like the way Hope came at John today. I didn't think that was fair at all, to just automatically accused John of doing this. |

What ever happened to the lofts where Philip, Belle, Shawn & Mimi used to stay? But you're right. I think she'll end up in the same building with Steve & Kayla. |

Stuck in an elevator? When does that happen? I am kind of hoping that Chloe gets a new place and Lucas moves in with her...I don't know if those two would be a good pair, but both are in need of new surroundings and people to interact with. It wouldn't hurt for Lucas to have more friends...or anyone to talk to other than Sami and his momma. I always love to read the Days discussion threads. And as far as the Iraq story...I tuned in and out and for the longest time, I had no clue why this tranny looking guy was on and why his thoughts sounded like Sami...I HATED Stan with a passion, and as much as I liked those 4 guys having scenes together, it was hard to stomach. Loved EJ and Nicole getting drunk. It just looked like those two were having a good time, especially with the lime. And EJ at the mansion falling on the floor and laughing was hilarious...don't think we have ever seen James Scott like that...and he is a tall dude so falling down the way he did was pretty impressive. Just a great scene all around. I would have loved to watch EJ try to crawl up the stairs in the background while John was talking to Sami about his "Dear John" letter. Great scene! |

Forget being stuck in an elevator. How 'bout we just have ChloMe plunge down an elevator shaft? |
