Oh, how I loved jealous Phloe today. Chloe was jealous of Philip, Philip was jealous of Chloe. There is so much more going on there than just a physical relationship. They're both extremely territorial for people who only want a "friends with benefits" relationship. And I loved how Philip didn't want Chloe to move out and how he was all upset by it. If he really was as indifferent to her as people would like him to be, he would have called the movers himself. Especially since he went from telling Chloe that he didn't want any drama in his life, to today telling her he could handle the drama, just don't move out. This is sounding more and more like a relationship... I'm loving Jawn on the warpath. Sami and Lucas had the same conversation they've been having since Lucas returned, and it is boring. EJ and Nicole, on the other hand, are totally and completely entertaining together. I think they have great chemistry and I hope the show gives them a shot. I'm also so sick of the green talk that I can barely even stand to glance at it in fast forward. Holy crap, we get the point. Green, green, green. When someone pays me the money Peter Reckell is making, I'll be sure to install solar panels at my house too. And every time I see Stephanie crying over her brother, I keep thinking, "Poor Max must be worried about his nephew." |

Today was decent. I liked Yvonne. The actress was good and she had an intrigue factor. I enjoyed her scenes with Philip. Glad to see Chloe getting more purpose lately. Her scenes were ok. Liked John's interactions today, especially with Nicole. I liked the John/Hope scene because, as she said, she was being a cop and a friend. However, I was put off by the Caroline/John scene. I can see why she is upset but Caroline has never been one to judge like that no matter what and John is technically her nephew so I did not like that scene much at all. Good seeing Caroline though. I am liking the John/Philip stuff also. Steve/Kayla and the baby was my favorite part of the episode. SN and MBR had me getting teary-eyed. Nice touch too having Chelsea watching and holding her stomach, reminding fans of what she has lost. Liked her little embrace with Bo at the end. I enjoyed family and friends rallying around them, although could've done without Stax. Stephanie and Max are so much better on their own. Family stuff like this is a Days trademark. Glad to be seeing more and more of it. I liked the Pub interactions but damn the Green talk has got to stop or they need to at least stop saying the same shit. Freshen it up a bit or make it more subtle. I know NBC is probably pushing it and that Ed, Peter Reckell, etc all support the cause. I'm for it too but it's far too preachy and they are trying way too hard. They need to tone it down a bit because I'm past annoyed now with it and this is coming from someone who supports this cause and can usually tolerate stuff like this in moderation. I enjoyed how Kate was written today too. Glad we got a Kate/Lucas scene. It's been awhile. Also liked EJ and Nicole today too. Good stuff again. Sami and Lucas is the same old shit, different day. It was good when he first came back but they are clearly dragging a bit too much with them right now. Not too bad of a day though. Edited by PhoenixRising05, Jun 3 2008, 11:00 PM.

I enjoyed seeing Ej with Nicole at the pub. The scene was cute. Tired as hell of the lumi merry go-round dialogue, so boring at this point. I feel so freaking bad for JAWN....WTH is wrong with these Bradys? I really can not stand them. Caroline was so cold to JAWN, broke my heart. Tomorrow looks like a good show...Can't wait. Must add, the green talk is over the top and imo is making a mockery of the very issue they are trying to get the audience to take seriously...The dialogue could not be more pitiful. I feel bad for the actors having to repeat it, so un-natural. |

I have to say I agree with most everyone. The green thing , the constant drumming of this issue, while important, is becoming more and more ineffective as the actors deliver these canned lines. :blah: Lucas and Sami, you can tell that it is so redundant that the actors even seemed bored delivering the same lines over and over and over. The pace of their scenes drag, so uninteresting, so utterly boring. The scene with Kate, Sami and Lucas was like the same scene these three have done for the past 10 years. Nu John I like that he is out and about interacting with other characters. The Marlena breaks are always interesting. But with that said kind of getting tired of the NUjohn. Only thing I'm liking is the one line zingers that he throws out. Steve and Kayla - they are ok for me but there is just so much saddest and despair you can take. Stephanie and Max .... I'm starting to get into the Max storyline, I think this could be interesting. And Darin is really growing as an actor. Stephanie she's just there for me. Chloe I don't find her remotely interesting clothes on or off .... next Phillip again I'm having a hard time with this bad guy Phillip trying to go up against NuJohn. It's not working for me. Nicole and EJ continue to bring it. Their scenes are funny and fresh and you do want to watch them over and over. My daughters are out of school and back watching Days with me this week. They loved Nicole and EJ. My daughter home from college thought that James Scott was a spot on drunk..... They totally dislike the NuJohn and they think Max's storyline is lame because it is a copy cat version of Good Will Hunting. Apparently my daughters dislike unoriginal material. The green stuff is all the demands of NBC so Corday or Higley really can't be at fault for that. NBC has been pushing the green issue on a lot of its shows and on ivillage. I tuned out for a week or two during Iraq and did a lot of FF-ing when I finally did catch up. But January to April of 2007 was when I tuned out the most. Thanks, Hogan. :soapbox: Edited by King, Jun 4 2008, 06:20 AM.

Yup. If you watch anything nbcunioversal you will see the major push for go green. network logo's are green and some of them have soem countdown for something. and all the shows always mention it if its been filmed recently, and they have crazy psa's and promo's. but the go green ond ays really doesnt bother me. i agree with ya, except instead of april i would aug 07. even then it was just kinda okay. |

Today's episode has just begun and I'm already hating EJ. Where the hell does he get off telling Sami she can't leave the twins with Lucas? He has a huge say when it comes to Johnny but that is where the line is drawn. Lucas raised Will on his own for a long time, so Sami shouldn't doubt him. |

Perhaps he doesn't trust Lucas because Lucas may not be able to handle the twins on his own. He might screw it up! Something might happen .... :o |

Oh I'm sure something MAY happen. Something can always happen whether its with Lucas, or even EJ or Sami. There is always the possibility! The fact of the matter is, Lucas is a much more experienced father than EJ is. Moreover, he is a father to those children just as much as EJ is. |

I hate this. Totally hate this! Lucas did break the rules no doubt. But, it was to protect his daughter. There was negligence with leaving the door open and leaving her unattended for even just a moment. But, I sure hope the judge has a heart. On the note, Ally is such a cutie pie. I love the scene of her walking outside. |

I'm in Canada. I've already seen tomorrow's show. I know what happens. I'm just pointing out that something can happen with anyone when it comes to caring for those children. Lucas is no less experienced than the others. |

Lucas let a crying child frustrate him so much he stopped thinking - he left his smaller daughter in a room by herself with an open door. He was irresponsible. Who in their right mind would leave a small child unattended? He could have put her in the play pen he could have picked her up and taken her with him .... It is all a plot device as to show that Lucas isn't as reliable of a father that he doesn't think before he acts... I suppose it maybe when Lucas seeks custody of Allie that Sami will have this incident to go back to.... |
