How are Phloe rushing it? They have a history. They were in love in high school and that love is still there!!! |

Regarding point #1: :hail: Regarding point #2: I noticed that, too. I don't think anything was really meant by that though. She wasn't really pushing her to try it, but emphasizing that it is good. Plus, Chelsea did drink from it, too. |

That was a long time ago. They broke up. She choose another man over Phillip, got married, and left for years. Also, he got married to another women who he had a thing for long before Chloe even stepped into the picture. Accordingly, even after Chloe returned, Phillip was still trying to get Belle back. They are rushing things again. They may have been in love all those years ago, but that's just it, that was a long time ago, and things have changed drastically. |

Chloe came back in what, November? Now its June, how it that rushing it? Phloe and John are the best things going this week. They could've kept the green beer scenes, Bo & Hope's salsa dancing, and Stephanie & Max. Though Max cussing everybody out and fighting at the pier was kinda funny. |

I have to issue a disclaimer -- I was a Philip/Chloe fan way back when (even though, to me, it really doesn't seem *that* long ago). I thought the show was doing an excellent job setting up the next great supercouple (hell, they even had their own love theme). Until that stupid moment they had Chloe cry "rape" on Philip. I literally looked at the TV cockeyed and when "well, fuck. they just ruined that." I knew they'd never recover their initial spark after that and they didn't. Instead, viewers got stuck in a never ending Philip/Chloe/Brady triangle that annoyed me to no end (not to mention those Phloe/Broe fanbase wars which made me want to the show to write off all three just to end it). As soon as I heard JKJ was going to leave, I knew who'd get Chloe in the end. Truthfully, I really see Lucas/Sami/EJ going the same route -- and I cringe at the thought. |

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks it's totally unbelievable that Sami would entrust her two infants to Rolf. |

^It would bother me had it happened right off the bat but Rolf has been around for weeks as butler and the first time Rolf was watching the twins, Sami was right downstairs as I remember so I think she feels it's ok. Plus, Rolf's lab is locked up and if he does anything John will find him and take his ass to jail. Sami knows that so I have no problem with it. Today was good. Best episode this week. I'm so glad it looks like we are seeing the beginning of something with Lexie/Daniel. It's not out of nowhere. They worked closely for months. They had an embrace back in March during Bo's illness in the lab, which Abe eyed and we all thought may mean something. She's also been the one pushing him to stay and she is the only person he personally opened up to in Salem about his wife. Here's my theory: Daniel, who came to town egotistical as all hell liked what he saw from Lexie but was also fascinated with Chelsea in some way. The more he worked with Lexie, the harder he fell for her. However, she was married and then Chelsea, who did seem unhappy with Nick for awhile (him working all the time and talking about his science stuff, etc) and saw Daniel as a chance for something more exciting and adventurous (something that is in keeping with her parents), was available so he let himself become infatuated with her. She was a way to satisfy his urges but he could see she was falling hard for him and it was becoming serious on her end so he started pulling away. He had become emotionally involved between her case and all and wanted nothing more then something to help him get by but she fell hard for him and that is why we have this push/pull. He likes her but he doesn't want a commitment. Now we have Abe and Lexie having problems. Lexie is confiding in Daniel and now Daniel sees an opening forming and that is why he is flirting a bit more with Lexie and why he told Chelsea what he did today. It makes sense. I also think Daniel may turn out to be a womanizer. I still remember him flirting with Kayla a bit in April when he checked on her at the hospital. Hell, he flirted with Kate when he first came too and we know they have scenes coming. I think what happened with his wife has him afraid of commitment so he just goes down the line, woman to woman, but I don't think he will touch a married one out of respect for what he and his wife had, unless he sees an opening and I think he is now with Abe and Lexie. If my theory is right, I LOVE this. I found Daniel interesting today for the first time in a long time. I still also wonder what mysterious phone call was about last week. Enjoyed his scenes and the Abe/Lexie stuff. Dena is handling that story well so far and building up the Theo issue slowly. Liked all the interactions. Max/John, Nicole/Chloe, etc. I think Nicole was following John just because of the Philip/John thing. That way she has something to offer Philip or John. Kind of like blackmail or a way to use one of them later if she feels the need. John/Philip was great, as was Philip/Victor. I'm so happy they have Victor and Philip at odds because it means more Victor and it's interesting. I also found Max interesting today and I noticed Dean Robbins gave a strange look after Max ran out. He turned and asked Nick "if his friend was ok" but he had the strangest look on his face so it was clear something was up. I found this whole story interesting and understood Max acting out because of his father showing up all of a sudden. The end was good with Max/John. I loved these interactions. I also liked the Sami/Roman/Nicole scene and the Burke/EJ scene was interesting. Many suspected EJ made the whole immigration thing up and I would love if he did. I love scheming EJ. Nice that Sami and EJ had a scene but it was rather boring and the whole Lucas thing reeked of just tossing in another hurdle for Lumi since they were getting closer. I wish they would add another component to this if they insist on keeping this triangle going. Maybe tie it to a story on the canvas or something. Anything to make it about more then just who gets Sami. Ugh. |

The whole Rolf thing is strange. We're supposed to believe that just because John didn't press charges and keep him in prison, he's become a new, improved, trustworthy person? I do kind of enjoy his role as the loyal, advice-giving man-servant (like Albert and Bruce Wayne in Batman), and I love the dry wit, but it's ignoring a whole lot of history. John offered to employ a nanny, and Sami said no, instead trusting her children to the former mad scientist--doesn't make sense! |

Even since Sami sat down and had that talk with Rolf, she has changed her views on him. He did come off as a kind man underneath all that evil. So, I can see how she has indirectly forgiven him. Its the same with EJ ... she has looked past the stuff he has done in the past. |

Plus, Sami knows most people who work for Stefano did it for survival, not out of willingness. I think Rolf was loyal and cared for Stefano but I do think even Rolf hated most of what he had to do. Sami understands what it's like to get involved with someone like Stefano and how hard it is to break from that (remember Stan and her involved with Tony?). I think that plays into that, along with the points I made in my previous post. It is weird but I do enjoy Rolf in his current role. It reminds me of characters like Alice on GH who add comedy and comfort characters in their orbit. It's enjoyable. |

lucas is not experienced at all with toddlers...he was not involved in caring for will at that age..he was an uncle, not a care giver..and the twins were newborns when he cared for them by themselves..wholly different from walkers or crawlers..and ej is totally right in saying lucas should not be with the children alone..since he cannot leave the house without the possibility of the kids ending up in cps custody..it is just stupid of sami to allow it, and she just now got a good example of why. if you think about it sensibly, someone on house arrest wearing a monitor is not a good choice to watch these babies. |
