Discuss June's goings on in Port Charles ........... GH Classic Clip: Karen is running all over looking for Jagger to warn him about Sonny's plans for him. Before she can find him two of Sonny's guys grab him. Stone talks to Sonny about his plans for Jagger, he tells Sonny that Karen doesn't like what Sonny has planned for Jagger. Marco Dane, Ruby, and Brenda are also in this scene. |

Ugh!!! Get over yourself, LuLu!!!! I'm so tired of her running around defending Johnny and then turning around and acting so sanctimonious. Loved seeing Claudia spar with her though and then to have Carly turn around and verbally bitch slap her was fantastic! The Robin/Patrick thing continues to bore. They've become such a snoozefest and it's a shame. I enjoyed the Carly and Jax stuff that I've seen this week. Sooo not suprised to see Sonny already asking Jason for 'favors'. :eyeroll: |

I was glad Claudia told Lulu off too. Lulu needs to mind her own business for once. She is always concerned with everyone else's life and what they are doing. She always quick to tell someone off but then try to hide behind someone while doing it. She was hiding behind Carly when Claudia was in her face and she even threw in she was going to tell Johnny about Claudia. If you are going to talk all that smack then at least back it up. |

I do have to add that I loved Spinelli and Diane's scenes. I loved when she made that disgusted look when spinelli told her that Maxie wanted to sleep with sonny on a desk too funny. I loved when Spin tried to seize the day again with Maxie. His kiss with her was cute and funny. |

I had forgotten that Monica was even in rehab since they don't feature that storyline enough. I almost went on a tirade the other day about where was Monica during the Quartermaine gathering the other day. This show could be 500 times better if they focused soley on Quartermaine squabbles/Maxie and Spin/Patrick and Robin. |

If Claudia has smacked Lulu I would of given her my free pass to be annoying as she wants. I have previously handed that honor out to Sam who since smacking Carly almost a year ago now she can do no wrong with me. |

Claudia really needs to smack Lulu although Lulu will just use it to her advantage. I like the idea of her going to Maxie, but I'm not sure how I feel about Maxie actually going through it. It would only bring trouble for her[Maxie]. Not suprised in the least to Sonny trying to weasel his way back in, although it's not as if he even really left. |

I know this is from the last week of May, but I need to vent! LOL! Carly and Alexis are driving me CRAZZZZZZZZZZZZZYYYY!!!!!!!! How can they ask Sonny to give up his children? Hello? You two are the ones who slept with him in the first place! You knew what he was about and who/how he was! Deal with it! |

GOD, I AM LOVING THIS SHOW! I know people seem to think OLTL is the show to watch lately, but GH is entertaining me on so many levels, it's ridiculous. The dialogue on this show is so good, especially, Spinelli's, Carly's, and Claudia's. I am in love with all three characters. I really can't believe how much I am loving Kristen Storms? Jesus! Hell hath frozen over, and the devil is giving sleigh rides. Maxie might not be the character she should have been, growing up as the daughter of Felicia and Mac, and she might be a spoiled little hoochie, but Storms is BRILLIANT in the role. Can't believe I'm saying it, but she really shines in a lighthearted, bitchy role like this. Anything Patrick and Robin, I fastforward. I usually actually FF and delete whole episodes without watching them, when they are in it. They're unbearable for me! |

Tuesday's eppy was pretty good, aside from the Robin/Patrick stuff, SNOOZE! Carly and Kate going at is always fun, although I wish Kate would have amped it up a bit. :sigh: I love my KeMo and I LOVE her and Lucky together, but they are just so darn boring. Both characters continue to be wasted. The Spin stuff with him going to Jax was HILAR! He'd kind of gone stale at the end of last year and the start of this one, but I really enjoy BA and KS's chemistry. Diane cracked me too when she came to Spin's 'rescue' with Jason/Max/Milo. Too funny. |

ITA! I was never for Carly asking Sonny to give up rights and I'm not for Alexis doing so either. Why now? After all this time? It wasn't until someone, Michael, seriously got hurt that this comes up. They should have thought about that before they hopped into bed with Sonny, but I digress, this is a [21stcent.] soap, LoL! |

:werd: Things were quickly fading for me in late Feb. and early March, but they've picked back up. I agree that GH has some fantastic dialogue. It's really one of their strongest points, IMO. The way you feel/felt about KS was exactly where I was at back in 2005[?] when she came on. It didn't take her long to win me over. The character is what really sells it for me. I just could never stand Belle/Shawn on Days. The whole Robin/Patrick fiasco is played out and I know I've said it many times, but had this been a year to a year 1/2 ago, I think you would have enjoyed them more. They could have really played out this pregnancy story but the writing just isn't there. Everything is absolutely boring with those two. |

Ugh, yeah, Robin/Patrick are the major weak point of GH! What episode did GH submit to the Emmy's? I hope they win. As much as I love NLG, Alexis drives me nutso! She's funny with Diane sometimes. Diane, God, she is amazing! I agree with you about Lucky and Sam. They are sticking out like a sore thumb! It's like they don't know what to do with them, but they don't want to get rid of them either. |

I've been having a problem with Spinelli lately. Yes, he's funny and yes, he's a great character...but Guza has been using too much of a good thing. This entire year (and especially these passed few months), Spinelli has been on EVERY day. That character is not made for "everyday". His "jackle" talk and "desire for manliness" is great a few times a week...but not 5 days in a row. |

I'm pretty sure it was from the Metro Court Disaster that happened during Feb. sweeps in '07. Did you ever get to see any of that? I know you were not watching then, but I wasn't sure if you've had seen it on youtube or something. It was great stuff and I'll be shocked if they don't get it. |

I actually Loved Tuesday's episode -- so much so that I watched it again on Soapnet. I thought they did a good job on Friday with the Father's Day show, too (Diane had me crying like a baby, partly because this was the first Father's Day since my father passed away and partly because I seriously like her character). Anyway on Tuesday, everything was good. I adore Spinelli -- especially lately since they've been giving him more things to do / people to interact with and some needed character development. His scenes with Claudia (on Mon and Tues) actually made me like her, and that's a first -- well other than when she's giving Lulu hell (I like anyone who does that!!) If they'd done something like this early on (during the strike) I probably would have loved the character; but as is I figure that since I'm starting to like her, she'll be leaving soon. Despite myself I do like Sony and Carly together -- it's about the only time I can stand either. Plus I really like the chemistry between Jax and Kate. They seem to be a more realistic match than Jax and Carly and just plain look good together. I'm not sure if I'd rather see Sony or Lulu get taken out -- both would be my first choice since they drive me insane most of the time :hmmph: And I love Maxi with Spinelli and with Johnny - or with anyone for that matter. KS totally won me over in this role and I'm happy she's been getting a decent amount of airtime. The scenes when she was talking to Johnny about Georgie were sooo sad, and while I HATE that they killed her off, it's good to see that the impact of her death is still being felt. That said, I'm NOT looking forward to what's his name joining the show and really, really don't want him with Maxie. Didn't like them together on Days and can't see them being any better on GH. Actually KS is doing so well that I can only see JC pulling her down :frustration: Anyway, it's awesome to be able to enjoy GH again -- especially since it's the only soap I'm watching right now (and I'd not been liking it too much for a while there - other than Maxi/Spinelli and Diane with anyone). Maybe someday I'll be able to tolerate Days again -- but I'm not holding my breath. Mateo, ITA the Metro Court stuff was brilliant!! Edited by maconrich, Jun 18 2008, 07:49 AM.

Yay! LoL. I'm soooo glad that GH won Best Drama. Yes, it was typical 'stunt' and 'emmy' tape type stuff that GH pulls during sweeps, but IMO, between the Metro Court disaster and the Masquerade, they were the show to beat, so it was well deserved. I love that you are not looking forward to JC coming on. I saw him on the emmys and was enjoying the new look, but then he spoke and it was all ruined, Guess we'll just have to wait and see on that one. |
