Great soap! I cried. Those scenes were sad. But the guy who plays Jarrod? He was horrible in his scenes next to his dad's bedside. I found myself laughing at how bad he was. It was the only bad moment of the show. I didn't think that Forbes Marshe was that bad especially after those Jarrod scenes. |

I know, right. I am fully spent after Bree Williamson's performance. Turly tragic and beautiful. From the scene in the chapel to Nash drawing the heart in her hand, there was no way I was getting away with no tears. She was truly magnificent today. |

I know, the episode was truly heartbreaking. I can't wait for Jessica to unleash her fury at Natalie |

Wow...they got me crying. It takes alot but they hit the right notes Beautiful episode. I also like how they played the Rex/Gigi story but didn't take away from the main story. They tied both stories together when they shifted to that story. JPL and MF were good today. Rex was enraged today and I loved it. I thought FF played Gigi's reactions to what had happened well too and David/Dorian was just great. He is clearly going to screw her over and it will be fun. The Nash drama...wow. Forbes March brought it. When he had tears welling in his eyes, I lost it. That scene with Bree and Viki and Clint in the background followed by Clint thanking Nash and Jessica breaking down afterward, not knowing how to say goodbye and trying to comfort Nash...brilliance. That got me big time. That and the "heart" scene and what a clever use of history and flashback. That and the Joe menton. Wonderful job and loved the music in the background of that last scene. Superb work by all and Bree Williamson really hit it out of the park there. Wow... Someone also brought up the point that Jessica is living Viki's life (may have been on another board, can't remember) and boy, are they right. That's just good writing, pure and simple. I felt for Natalie and Archer played it well but man do I hate Jared. His scenes with Charlie were nice but I still felt nothing for him. Maybe it's because Natalie has been around for a bit but I just look at Jared and see smug, egotistical, etc. Maybe it's Brotherton's look but I just can't feel anything for him. The only complaint I had about this episode is at times it felt like the cut scenes off in odd places. For instance, Nora is telling Nigel about what happened and just as they get to what feels like the meat of the scene, it gets cut off. I felt that same way about a scene with Clint, Viki, and Natalie. Clint is telling Natalie about how hard it will be for Jessica to get through this and to help Bree say goodbye to her dad and I could've sworn Clint was about to say something else when it got cut off. Ver Dorn even seemed to mouth something and the scene just cut out. Things get cut but it's not supposed to be noticeable and it felt that way. Maybe it was just me but, in all honestly, this was a solid hour of daytime drama and totally deserving of all the praise in the world. The previews look good, especially Jess and Natalie (I'm hoping Tess returns as well). Only downer is that Todd is on tomorrow and I can't stand him anymore. |

Thursday's show was really good. My only complaints was some of the directing was weird and the guy who plays Jared is just a patheic actor. Other than that OLTL just keeps churning out great episodes. I will continue to watch as it really is kicking DAYS ass right now. I don't watch any other soaps but from the sounds of it OLTL is easily the best soap right now. |

Okay I am pissed. I missed all but the last ten minutes of OLTL because they had the stupid Stanely Cup parade for the Red Wings on  |

I've FINALLY watched all of the week's episodes, and I have no words. So much has happened on this show in just one week! Every other writer in daytime needs to take a look at OLTL, because THIS is how soap opera is done! |

It's just so sad that the ratings don't reflect how good the show is right now. OLTL is on a roll. |

^That is why the ratings system sucks LOL. My only complaint with today is that there wasn't a real cliffhanger (and you would think this whole week would build to one) but after the week the show just had, it's understandable and is nitpicking, something I''m against but I'm rambling today so bare with me LOL. Loved Jess vs Natale. Wow...that slap rocked. Solid writing there. Todd/Bree was cute but I just hate how far they have had Todd go. That has ruined this for me. That and I just know they are going to cop out and have Starr give her baby to Micheal and Marcie. I prefer she raise it and they go all the way with this but we'll see how it unfolds. Good show and can't wait for the returns next week. I just hope OLTL can keep this up. Too many times we've seen shows put out strong material for a period and then slow down and lose that momentum. Hell, it even happened to B&C at Days and I compare Ron to them since they were promoted from within and were very similar in what they did and what Ron is doing. Eventually, B&C began to lose it in the final weeks of their run and they did have clunkers. I think that is the true test. What happens when Ron has a clunker or when the show slows down and goes into a set up phase? I've yet to see that happen really under him and how the show flows and goes through that will cement to me whether this thing could be turning into a golden age or not. The one thing he does flawlessly is that while ending stories he is setting up other ones or other reveals but, eventually, every show slows so that to me will be interesting to see how the show does. Right now, it's the best far and away and deserves praise. I just hope it continues for the long haul and that the ratings reflect the hard work. Sadly, I doubt the ratings will end up consistently in their favor and that's a damn shame. |

Alright kids so Monday's was another great episode for me. I think the scriptwriter might be new, since I've never scene her name before, and if she is she did a great job. I loved how right before the opening came up Viki said how she was mad as hell. Erika delievered that line perfectly. And Jess breaking down over the fact that Nash left them on Bree's birthday and Viki bringing up Joe Riley. Then bitchy bangs was great once again. Man Melissa Gallo has grown so much since she first began. And of course the Langston/Dorian scene was so sweet. Their relationship is amazingly written. I love Langston so much. One thing though that I really wanted was for Starr to slap Todd. But I guess I could be happy with Renee slapping Jared instead. Even though I totally am on Jared and Natalie's side. They are too great a couple to hate them LOL Man I wish I could feel this way about DAYS. |

Don't we all. And what's really sad is that, not too long ago, I did feel this way about DAYS. |

Yeah I felt it from when around the time of Jenn and Frankie's wedding until the end of the year and then from John's funeral onwards Until the plane crash aftermath. Now it's a snooze unlike OLTL which keeps me on my toes and that doesn't have crap coming from nowhere and people acting like they have 50 personalities. Oh yeah and this show has story direction, like plans for the future. Very rare on daytime these days |

so, i get soap budgets and stuff, but i totally find it ridiculous that Dorian's house and Llanfair both have those identical ugly curtain things blocking their windows from displaying scenery. |

yeah i tend to notice. like, even if they'd put the fake Buchanan ranch window mural outside the window, it'd look a thousand times better. |
