I recorded OLTL today and watched it earlier.

Again, I wasn't impressed. The scenes at Llanfair with Viki/Cristian/Sarah/Craig Wesley (er... um, whatever the hell his name is on OLTL) and Tina listening at the backdoor seemed like something JER would've written, LoL. It's so hokey to me that they go all these years with barely a mention of Tina, yet all of a sudden her name is coming out of everyone's mouth... and how convenient, she's right there spying the entire time. Also, I'll admit that I never really saw Andrea Evans as Tina, but when I saw her today, all I saw was Rebecca Hotchkiss.

The rest of the show didn't really interest me, either. Who was that guy with Mimi... er, Gigi, and the little boy? The one who looked like a walking, talking Ken doll? What a terrible actor! LoL

The only real bright spot of the show for me was Dorian. I've always loved that diva bitch!

I hope you don't mind me saying this but you picked the wrong day to watch. This week has been a little slow. Mostly filler.

Sarah and Christian are the absolute worst couple on the show. They made the wrong decision to use Tina to try and revive them. I don't know who's decision it is to put those two characters together but it's a bad one and definitely a major turn-off. I thought the Sarah and Tina scenes were lost in translation as well but I think AE is trying so hard to generate some type of dynamic for those two. I almost felt sorry for her.

When Tina hooks up with Viki and Todd things will improve.

Gigi and Brody are both newbies and are too isolated and both actors are struggling because of it.

Next week is the funeral. It should be better.

Agreed about Gigi and Brody being too iscolated in their own story.

I hope that whole Dorian / Gigi scene at CE leads to something, I'd love for Gigi to work for Dorian.

I feel the same way about Andrea Evans as Tina. Each time I've watched OLTL recently, I've just seen Rebecca Hotchkiss. Were Tina and Rebecca always this similar, or has Andrea just forgotten how to play the character properly?

Meanwhile, I'm watching the show right now and Bree Williamson is doing an AMAZING job with this funeral episode. Wow! I never realized that she was THIS good before. Shitfires!

I asked a friend who watched Tina then and she said Andrea/Tina was like that back in the 80's as well. She always felt Rebecca was a copy cat of Tina.

Anyways, Bree Williamson was amazing. Loved the ending with the Jessica/Nash flashbacks and then Jessica passing out at the end.

However unpopular an opinion that is, I did too.

Maybe it's because I haven't watched OLTL long enough to care that Nash died AT ALL. I don't know. I wanted to like the funeral scene but Jessica was too OTT for me today while Natalie was too reserved and I found myself thinking way more about their acting choices than the emotions of their chracters. The scene dynamics between them just didn't work for me. Viki trying to interrupt Jessica once per act and Jess begging her off every time also bugged me majorly, but then again I've always hate Viki. There's not a lot the show can do about it.

I did love the scene with angry Dr. Craig Wesley and Rebecca Hotchkiss no matter how hokey or JERish maybe it was. Perhaps that's why I loved it. It still cracks me up every time she calls that dog the full name of David Vickers.

Could care less about Rex and Gigi and the Vega Bros.

I agree, it was way, way OTT. I am not a fan of hysterics but I guess they wanted Jessica to basically have a complete meltdown so she can go into Tess mode.

I did love the montage though. I'm a sucker for montages. I love that OLTL has had a lot of them lately.

I don't mind Jessica being hysterical. She just lost the love of her life and found out she's pregnant. Life doesn't get any worse.

Given everything Jessica's been through, I'm surprised she hasn't suffered a COMPLETE mental breakdown.

I also think it was a way of showing weakness so Tess could be the main perosnality again.

I'll say this, I love Tess...so for whatever reason she comes back I hope she kicks some serious butt while she's here. I'll miss Nash....Forbes was great, but I never liked Nash and JESS....loved Nash and TESS.

That montage was very kickass. I made sure to watch the repeat when it was on SoapNet this weekend.

I haven't watched OLTL enough to be invested in Nash or Jessica and Nash at all so this is like the best of both worlds. I am really enjoying seeing all the fallout of this play out yet there's nothing bittersweet about what triggered it all for me. Very intrigued by what Tess will wind up doing to Jared and Natalie.

Other OLTL thoughts from today:
-DAYS didn't do Kevin Spiritas justice with the writing for Dr. Wesley. Really liking what he is bringing to his character, even though I don't actually care about Sarah.
-Loved the Mimi from Drew Carey-like psychic and that whole scene at Dorian's.
-Can someone bring me up to speed exactly what the piece of paper was that Lindsey was trying to make sure Nora didn't see?

Lindsay got a letter from her friend R.J., and in the letter, it mentioned that Lindsay faked having mental instability in order to avoid jail time for murdering Spencer Truman.

And I agree about Madame Delphina. Loved her!

I want Madame Delphina on contract!

I love how this show delivers the laughs and the angst at the same time, the way TV should be.
